I think the "empty first line" might also have been a bug, but I'm not sure anymore. I remember opening the pre-vandalism version and trying to save directly from that.

Edit kind: I was trying to revert the last three edits, which are vandalism. I did this by going back three revisions and hitting "Edit", then when the warning about changing non-Wikitext data came up, selecting the option to restore the revision.

The abuse filter claimed that I was changing the first line to something other than a template. I was changing the only line in the English caption data segment, and this was already not a template.

@Stannered Thanks for reporting this. It seems like there is some sort of bug with something other than the abuse filter. I was able to revert the vandalism myself because it looks like the bug did not happen for me.
