Title[edit]

Some time ago, we changed one of the interface messages to "edit filter" (MediaWiki talk:Abusefilter-log-linkoncontribs). I'd suggest to rename this page to "Commons:Edit filter" too. -- User:Docu at 12:58, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{Editprotected}}

Please move the page to Commons:Edit filter. It is currently move protected. -- User:Docu at 12:50, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
 Question Why? The feature is called "abuse filter". Renaming it will confuse people more than doing good. --The Evil IP address (talk) 15:40, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The feature was already renamed at en.wp. It doesn't really filter abuse, just edits. Ideally it would filter just abuse, but there is some way to go there. -- User:Docu at 15:48, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
 Not done. There is no consensus here at this time. renamed one is only applied in enwiki. But "Abuse filter" is universally used—even information of software version and list of installed extensions. Kwj2772 (msg) 11:52, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
