- @Mahiuddin Azad: Hi, and welcome. I am sorry to inform you that you have triggered Special:AbuseFilter/153 by trying to cross-wiki upload a smaller (<50,000 bytes or <2,000,000 pixels) jpg image as a new user while leaving the summary intact. The image you tried to upload is smaller, and you indicated it's your own work. Usually when someone uploads a smaller image, it is a copyright violation taken from the web. If you made the image yourself, please upload the full-size original of it per COM:HR, including EXIF metadata. If you did not make the image, please see Commons:Licensing for why we can't accept it as-is, and have the image photographer / designer license it on their official website or social media, or send the image and permission via VRT with a carbon copy to you. If you can't get a compliant license, the image may still be uploaded to English Wikipedia in compliance with en:WP:F because we don't allow Fair Use here. If you change the summary or use our Upload Wizard instead, you should be able to avoid that filter. — Jeff G. ツ please ping or talk to me 03:46, 1 December 2021 (UTC)

- @Mcewas: Hi, and welcome. Note: On 9 January 2019, Pixabay switched the old sitewide license for all uploads from Creative Commons CC0 to the Pixabay license which does not meet the free content licensing requirements for Commons. Therefore, media published on Pixabay from 9 January 2019 onwards is not considered to be freely licensed and can't be accepted on Commons. Files uploaded to Commons after this date should be subject to careful license review, verifying that the publication date on Pixabay is prior to 9 January 2019. The publication date ("Last updated") on Pixabay is "April 29, 2019". Thus, File:Man regretful and sad.jpg does not provably have a CC0 license, only an unacceptable Pixabay License. I tagged the file as such. — Jeff G. ツ please ping or talk to me 11:30, 6 December 2021 (UTC)

- @Talacaynenvang: Hi, and welcome. I am sorry to inform you that you have triggered Special:AbuseFilter/153 by trying to cross-wiki upload a smaller (<50,000 bytes or <2,000,000 pixels) jpg photo as a new user while leaving the summary intact. The photo you tried to upload is smaller, and you indicated it's your own work. Usually when someone uploads a smaller photo, it is a copyright violation taken from the web. If you took the photo yourself, please upload the full-size original of it per COM:HR, including EXIF metadata. If you did not take the photo, please see Commons:Licensing for why we can't accept it as-is, and have the photographer post Commons:Licensing compliant permission for such work on their website or social media presence or send the photo and permission via VRT with a carbon copy to you. If you can't get a compliant license, the photo may still be uploaded to English Wikipedia in compliance with en:WP:F because we don't allow Fair Use here. - @Acreator7: Hi, and welcome. I am sorry to inform you that you have triggered Special:AbuseFilter/153 by trying to cross-wiki upload png and smaller (<50,000 bytes or <2,000,000 pixels) jpg photos as a new user while leaving the summary intact. Such uploads of png photos are not allowed at all. Each jpg photo you tried to upload is smaller, and you indicated it's your own work. Usually when someone uploads smaller photos, they are copyright violations taken from the web. If you took the photos yourself, please upload the full-size originals of them per COM:HR, including EXIF metadata. If you did not take the photos, please see Commons:Licensing for why we can't accept them as-is, and have the photographer(s) license them on their official websites or social media or send the photos and permissions via VRT with carbon copies to you. Also, the png version will look fuzzy when scaled down (due to design decisions discussed in phab:T192744), so you may want to upload a jpg version, too. If you can't get a compliant license, a photo may still be uploaded to English Wikipedia in compliance with en:WP:F because we don't allow Fair Use here. If you change the summary or use our Upload Wizard instead, you should be able to avoid that filter. — Jeff G. ツ please ping or talk to me 22:17, 14 December 2021 (UTC)

- @RPOrchestraNY: Hi, and welcome. I am sorry to inform you that you have triggered Special:AbuseFilter/153 by trying to cross-wiki upload a smaller (<50,000 bytes or <2,000,000 pixels) jpg logo as a new user while leaving the summary intact. The logo you tried to upload is smaller, and you indicated it's your own work. Usually when someone uploads a smaller logo, it's a copyright violation taken from the web. Please upload the full-size original of it per COM:HR, including EXIF metadata, but as-is it may be judged too complex to be under TOO in the country of origin, so you may need to post COM:L compliant permission for such works on your official website or social media presence or send permission via VRT. Also, any raster image will look jaggy when scaled up, so you may want to upload an svg version, too. If you can't get a compliant license, the logo may still be uploaded to English Wikipedia in compliance with en:WP:F because we don't allow Fair Use here. If you change the summary or use our Upload Wizard instead, you should be able to avoid that filter. — Jeff G. ツ please ping or talk to me 23:05, 22 December 2021 (UTC)

- @Ycp 22: Hola y bienvenido.

- @Cmweya: Hi, and welcome. I am sorry to inform you that you have triggered Special:AbuseFilter/153 by trying to cross-wiki upload a png logo as a new user while leaving the summary intact. Such uploads of png logos are not allowed at all. You indicated it's your own work. Usually when someone uploads a png logo, it's a copyright violation taken from the web. Please upload the full-size original of it per COM:HR, including any metadata, but it may be judged too complex to be under TOO in the country of origin, so you may need to license it on your official website or social media or send permission via VRT. Also, any png image will look fuzzy when scaled down (due to design decisions discussed in phab:T192744) or jaggy when scaled up, so you may want to upload an svg or jpg version, too. If you can't get a compliant license, the logo may still be uploaded to English Wikipedia in compliance with en:WP:F because we don't allow Fair Use here. If you change the summary or use our Upload Wizard instead, you should be able to avoid that filter. — Jeff G. ツ please ping or talk to me 13:35, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
