Report by Arjuli72

@Arjuli72: Hi, and welcome. I am sorry to inform you that you have triggered Special:AbuseFilter/153 by trying to cross-wiki upload a smaller (<50KB or <5MP) jpg photo as a new user while leaving the summary intact. The photo you tried to upload is smaller, and you indicated it's your own work. Usually when someone uploads a smaller photo, it is a copyright violation taken from the web. If you took the photo yourself, please upload the full-size original of it, including EXIF metadata. If you did not take the photo, please see Commons:Licensing for why we can't accept it, and have the photographer send the photo and permission via OTRS with a carbon copy to you. If you change the summary or use our Upload Wizard instead, you should be able to avoid that filter. Re your userpage, our other filters worked as intended. We do not host encyclopædia articles, CVs, or current ads here on Wikimedia Commons per COM:NOT.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 10:26, 1 August 2020 (UTC)

People have a right to KNOW what the book cover of Orville Lloyd Douglas second poetry book Under My Skin looks like? Other writers have their book covers on their wikipedia page. Mauro Mr. 69 (talk · contributions · Statistics · Recent activity · block log · User rights log · uploads · Global account information): Ciao e benvenuto.

@TAUBATÉ CLICK and Pereira Fabiana: Olá, seja bem-vindo.

@Hoppinghat: Hi, and welcome. If you did not take the photo, please see Commons:Licensing for why we can't accept it, and have the photographer post Commons:Licensing compliant permission for such work on their website or social media presence or send the photo and permission via OTRS with a carbon copy to you. If you change the summary or use our Upload Wizard instead, you should be able to avoid that filter. See also COM:HR.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 13:48, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

@Jmoskoff: Hi, and welcome. I am sorry to inform you that you have triggered Special:AbuseFilter/153 by trying to cross-wiki upload a png photo as a new user while leaving the summary intact. Such uploads of png photos are not allowed at all. You indicated it's your own work. Usually when someone uploads a png photo, it's a copyright violation taken from the web. Please upload the full-size original of it, including any metadata, but if you were not the original photographer, that person may need to post Commons:Licensing compliant permission for such work on their website or social media presence or send permission via OTRS with a carbon copy to you. Also, it will look fuzzy when scaled down (due to design decisions discussed in phab:T192744), so you may want to upload a jpg version which will look sharper, too. @Jeff G.: Hi Jeff G., yes, I made the “Category:Studánka Pramen života (Karlovy Vary)” immediatelly once more, successfully this way. The matter is resolved now. – When I was making the first category, I forgot to write the part "Category:" and then I didn´t know how to fix it. Maybe there was a better way. Sorry for the troubles. • Report by: Kermitchemist (talkcontribsblock logfilter log)
  • Page name: Camden East (Camden East links: histlogsabuse logen:Camden East)
  • Edit kind: I was trying to upload a photograph (taken by myself) of a historical building. The first time I tried it, I got a message saying that the system couldn't determine whether the image was acceptable. I tried again and got this error message instead "An automated filter has identified this edit as potentially unconstructive, and it has been disallowed. If this edit is constructive, please report this error."
  • Comments: What am I doing wrong? The photograph was taken by me (which I indicated when asked). The photograph is not offensive. It shows a building built in 1840. The building is mentioned in the article, so I don't understand why it isn't constructive. I also don't know how to prove that the image is acceptable. Please advise.
