Hey William, thanks for offering to donate a photo of yourself! I assume that the photo you're trying to upload is a selfie? The photo got automatically declined by the filter since it's too small in resolution (354x412 pixels). We prefer high resolution media, as that not only makes it easier to scale photos for print and super-high resolution displays, it also assures us that you are really the photographer and not taken somewhere else from the web (copyright violations uploaded via the cross-wiki upload tool, which is the one you used, are commonly low-resolution).

I see that the photo was taken using Apple's Photo Booth. I think you should try using the normal camera app instead (and make sure it takes photos at the highest quality possible in settings), as the Photo Booth app may be downsizing photos. Alternatively, if you know a Wikipedian in real life, you can ask them to take a photo of you, that would be better. If all of that isn't possible, you can bypass the filter and upload the same photo again by using our Upload Wizard instead. But please only use that as a last resort.

Usually when someone uploads a png or smaller jpg image, it's a copyright violation taken from the web. Please upload the full-size original of it per COM:HR, including any metadata, but if you were not the original image designer or photographer, that person may need to license it on their official website or social media or send permission via VRT with a carbon copy to you. Also, any png image will look fuzzy when scaled down (due to design decisions discussed in phab:T192744) or jaggy when scaled up, so you may want to upload svg or jpg versions, too.
