Easy categories list

Hello.Can I get a list of the wanted categories of organisms and "Media from ZooKeys"?Thanks ديفيد عادل وهبة خليل 2 (talk) 13:42, 1 November 2019 (UTC)

• Hello, I have not a such list. In Category:Media from ZooKeys (to be sorted out) you can find some ZooKeys categories for articles needed to be created, and to be connected with the corresponding items in Wikidata, as you did for this one, but in addition can you add Commons category (P373) too? example. For the organisms, I usually uploads the files with only one category, as I don't manage to do more when I generate the XML file that I use for the batch-upload. Bonjour. Vous avez supprimé la photo suivante "File:Le cacique Raoni Metuktire au journal de 20H de TF1 le 29 novembre 2012 pour la campagne "Urgence Amazonie".jpg", que j'ai cédé de bonne grâce a Wikimedia Commons. Je suis l'auteur de cette photo, il n'y a aucun doute possible sur ce fait, je possède d'ailleurs au moins une quinzaine d'autres images prises par moi sur ce plateau télé le même jour, je ne comprends donc pas votre suppression, qui n'est d'ailleurs accompagnée d'aucun argumentaire pouvant motiver votre choix.

Je vous demande donc de réintégrer cette image au plus tôt, la mise en ligne est chronophage en raison de toutes les indications à fournir et si je contribue à wikipedia avec plaisir en offrant mes images, je n'ai pas envie de perdre mon temps pour rien. Pouvez-vous m'expliquer ce qui a motivé votre suppression ? Je ne comprends par ailleurs pas pourquoi vous m'envoyer vers une autre page et ce que je suis supposé y faire. • J'ai supprimé l'image, car ma première impression était qu'il s'agissait d'une capture d'écran (ou d'une photo d'un écran), la scène étant un plateau de télévision, et dans ce cas la chaine a des droits sur l'utilisation d'une telle photo. Pourquoi je vous ai envoyé sur cette autre page, c'est simple, vous m'avez dis "je n'ai pas envie de perdre mon temps pour rien", et étant donné que je ne me considère pas à votre service, et surtout pas en temps et en heure, je vous ai redirigé vers cette page ou tout le monde peut effectuer une demande de restauration après qu'une image ai été effacée. Oui, tout à fait, j'étais physiquement sur le plateau du journal de 20h et ces deux personnalités posaient pour moi à ce moment précis, qui n'a pas été filmé. Il s'agit bien d'une photo. Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at Wikimedia Commons.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. • Cradle enables editors to create a new item by completing a form. You can create a new form on the Cradle help page. Cradle forms can be used as templates to ensure that similar new items are structured the same way. •  Done in fact Marco Verch makes massive publications of CC licensed images, and they made a business of stalking violations of any term licenses. There is apparantly no copyright issues to upload the images heres, however there is a big moral issue, and there is a wide consensus within the Wikimedia Commons community to not to host these pictures here. As for the other image, you were right to ask me, I deleted it, as there is several prior publications in the web, furthermore with different attributions. Bonjour Christian, Je ne sais pas bien vers qui me tourner. Mon nom d'utilisateur sur Wikimedia et Wikipedia France est Dinkum (compte unifié). J'ai des connaissances très limitées pour le côté technique du site. Par inadvertance, je me suis déloguée et depuis je n'arrive plus à me logger avec mon nom d'utilisateur et en donnant mon mot de passe. A chaque fois j'ai un message comme quoi l'un des deux est erroné. Malheureusement comme je n'avais pas donné d'adresse e-mail, je ne peux pas redemander un mot de passe. Que dois-je faire ? • Bonjour, c'est bizarre..., une page d'aide est disponible ici, mais en résumé c'est surement un problème de cookie. Je n'ai pas très bien compris comment éviter le problème pour l'avenir, mais tu peux essayer plusieurs choses pour te reconnecter: Essayer de purger le navigateur, puis réessayer de se connecter. Fermer ton navigateur, le réouvrir, et puis réessayer de te reconnecter à Commons. Essayer de te connecter via un autre project, per example Wikidata. Essayer de te connecter en utilisant un autre navigateur internet (Internet explorer, firefox, ect....). Essayer de te connecter depuis un autre ordinateur.

Sans une adresse internet renseignée, il semble en effet impossible de demander un nouveau mot de passe, et la seule solution est de créer un nouveau compte. J'espère qu'une des pistes que je tai donné ci-dessus vont t'aider.... Christian Ferrer ^(talk) 17:05, 6 December 2019 (UTC)

I am part of the international team of Pint of Science and the logo is registered for the company. How should I proceed to successfully upload without violating CC laws?

• @LuizIQC: Hello, you have two possibilities: 1/somewhere in the official website a compatible license for the logo must be added (example: CC BY-SA 4.0, and then you ask me or another administrator to undelete the file. 2/ an an official representative of the festival must send a permission to our permission system by including in his message the address of the deleted image, and the given license. • Everyone says that France is beautiful indeed although there are quite a few strikes. I guess it is a French tradition....but still you are lucky not to be living next door to Trump. There was 1 party in our 2019 October Federal election in Canada that adopted a very pro-Trump position and its party only had 1.6% of the vote and its leader Bernier lost his seat. Laura Branigan was 52 when she died and Marie Fredriksson was 61 when she just died on December 9, 2019. At least, Marie had a husband and 2 children although she battled cancer since 2002. On the internet wayback machine, the original link shows some text and a place for a photo but the photo is lost. Does this mean that Commons cannot keep this image. Or is there any other archive search engine that may preserve the photo. The webpage is free but without the photo, it cannot be saved and it is heavily used. Any idea? Do not review it. {{LicenseReview}} is for specific images, and the image must be visible, not for an image likely coming from somewhere. If the image is not visible at the provided source then don't review it. I did not find it with google search before the date of the upload here.
