Hello again Christian, I found another image that should be deleted. [1][2] It is clearly derived from the Fall Creek Sutlery website which is clearly copyrighted and it also the product number as well. [3] Similar image can also be found here which is not free use [4] 108.20.216.21

Hi, Christian,

two years ago you have deleted two files User_talk:Galessandroni#File_tagging_File:Peacelink.gif as describe here. Well done.

1. Yes, I have a OTRS ticket for Peacelink (also png and svg in high resolution), but for it.wiki, and I suppose that isn't the same. We (the author and me) would like share our logo (I work in PeaceLink) and we have request a CC-BY-NC license but - in my opinion - this licence is not usable in Commons, aren't?
2. Different is the issue about the File:Lucilla Masini.png. I can provide you a mail (from Lucilla Masini, an Italian author and comedian). But, in it.wiki have said that she is not relevant as author, so do not worry.

Apologize my late and my inexperience, and - at this point - I would like an answer only about first point.

• Hi, it doesn't change much for you, but it's not me who deleted the files. I have indeed tagued the files with {{No permission since}} and the files have been deleted 7 days later because no relevant permissions were given. You can see the name of the administrator who deleted the file by cliking on the red link File:Peacelink.gif.

For the first point, you're right, CC-BY-NC is not accepted here, see com:Licensing. Note that my user rights doe's not allow me to read an OTRS ticket.

For the second point, I can't accept a permission by mail myself, all relevant and valid permissions must be sent to our permission system, where it will be archived. But anyway if it.wiki have said that she is not relevant as author, then it is likely that the file will be considered scope|out of our project scope here too.

• Hi, one photo is a kind of book cover or a kind of poster, and looks like promotional material, therefore in addition to have potential copyright issues with the photos + the other things displayed on it, it is also very likely out of our project scope, as we don't allow advertizing. The second photo is a photo that have already been published as a profile photo on various places in the web. In such case, in order the we are sure that the copyright holder agree to a publication here under our specific licensing conditions, we require that the copyright holder, even if it is you, send a permission to our permission system. • Hi, I deleted several images recently and I don't remember this one, and without the title of the file or without a link to the talkpage of the uploader, I can not answer precisely. However as you talk of "covers" then I assume I considered the file as a copyright violation. If it is in public domain then it must not be uploaded with a CC license but with the relevant tag, if it is not in PD but you have the permission, either permission is available online (you must provide the link), or it must be sent to our permission system by the copyright holder.   • Collecting a lot of feedback and doing research around how to improve our APIs to start making it easier to access Wikidata's data for programmers
  • Finalized the initial feature list for the query builder and working on designs and prototypes for testing

WHY??

Dear friend, I have said repeatedly that the pictured Wikimedia wanted to delete, was uploaded by me, it has no copyright pending, for it was de logo of my karate school. • Development
  • It is now possible to search for EntitySchema pages using a shortcut “E:”, similar to “P:” for Properties and “L:” for Lexemes. For example: E:E10 or E:kakapo. T245529
  • Continued working on the first version of Federation, which will allow other Wikibase installations to use Wikidata's Properties - getting closer to a first testable version
  • More work on consistency of user interface components
  • Finalizing the click-dummy for the first version of the Query Builder so we can start testing it with some editors soon and get feedback.
  • Continuing to investigate how to improve our APIs and other ways to improve access to the data in Wikidata for programmers
  • Discussed the future of the Wikidata Query Service and ideas for next steps we can take to make it scale better. Guillaume will join the next office hour to talk about it.
  • More work on clearer separation of Wikibase repository and Wikibase client code in order to improve maintainability
