    • WikidataCon! \o/
    • Continued the work on the first version of the Mismatch Finder. We are getting closer to the polishing phase now and will have something ready in the next weeks.
    • Lua access for Lexemes is now ready to test on English Beta Wiktionary.
    • Concluded work on the improved behind-the-scenes system for notifying Wikipedias and co about Wikidata edits that affect them. Nothing should have changed for you.
    • Started working on a new implementation of the search box to be ready for the upcoming skin changes the WMF is working on.

    • We have put a version of WBStack on wikibase.dev. We will start work to deploy to wikibase.cloud in the coming weeks.

    • WikiCite Search is a bibliographic search engine for Wikidata that finds articles either by searching for keywords, or by string matching.
  • Development
    • Working on displaying the grammatical features of Lexemes in a particular order in the UI (phab:T232557)
    • Mismatch Finder: continuing polishing before first release. Focusing on making API documentation available and adding a footer to the site
    • The ongoing work on MediaWiki skin improvements especially for Wikipedia will break the search box for Wikidata. We're working on addressing this. (phab:T275251)
    • Migrating a number of components to vue 3 to keep up with the rest of MediaWiki (phab:T294465)

    Hello, I own the cover art, I made it myself. I photographed my guitar and put it on the cover. The music on the album is also in my ownership. Is a Fender guitar copyrighted in the way that it's not supposed to be on the cover even if you own it? What about other album covers with guitars on them?     • Continued work on making it possible to define a custom ordering of grammatical features on Lexemes (phab:T232557)
    • More research and discussion on mul language code (phab:T285156)
    • Discussing with data re-users about their views on the ontology issue classification we worked on earlier this year to get their input (slides from Data Quality Days session)

Hi Christian, could you please revert your unblock of Rodhullandemu please. It's an inappropriate unblock for two reasons, firstly, you were involved in the discussion concerning an unblock, so should not be the administrator who performs the unblock, and secondly, it's quite clear that unblocking Rodhullandemu at this time is controversial and appears to lack consensus. The discussion concerning an unblock and any conditions attached to that unblock should be allowed to run, then closed by an uninvolved administrator who can judge the prevailing consensus at that time.   • No sorry, before to perform the unblock I have read again our policy, and is is quite clear: "...may only be declined by an uninvolved administrator", not the opposite. And if you think the opposite is obvious, well, you can see that it is not my case. Note and be aware that if the community think that is an abuse of power, and if there is a consensus to begin a desys- process, so then this last one would not be needed as I will give back my tools myself. All this for an IP only acting as a vandal... well ok if it is how is our community, here we go. Note also that I think that the only place to discuss that is in the current open discussion in the admin. noticeboard, and furthermore I 'm not going to answer the same thing at 2, 3, 4, ect.. different places.     Then you should be desysopped Christian. Yes the IP was a vandal but at the end of the day they're human like the rest of us. IPs aren't bots - they're genuine people. But again who the comment was directed at is completely irrelevant.

@Jeff G.: As I said I did not want to answer at various place, but for you I am going to make an excepetion. When you were wrongly accused to support p. simply because you speedy closed a DR openned by a vandal, I was not the last to defend you. You are not aware but I even defended you offline, but I won't say anything more about it. So if I was you I would be a bit less prompt to say to those, like me, who defend others what they have to do. Hi Christian Ferrer! I was doing some patrolling, responding to messages, and other stuff... It was pointed out to me that File:The Holy Oshwah.png was deleted. Heh, okay, *shrugs*... I'm just curious as to why. Was it the "statue" that my face was (apparently) photoshopped on top of? I'm interested in image licensing, and I understand fair use, public domain, and GNU, etc...   • Hello, I deleted it because this is a photomontage without any sources provided as regard to the different images used, and when I see the other files uploaded by the uploader, at least the backgroud doesn't looks at all to an "own work".
