@Bambino4: If an email has been sent it, please add {{OTRS pending}} to the file's page, and then remove the deletion template I added to the file. Please make sure that in your edit summary you mention the email. Adding the "OTRS pending" template will let other editors know about the email; the email, however, will still need to be verified by OTRS. If the email turns out to be OK, OTRS will replace the "pending" template with {{OTRS permission}}. If there's a problem with the email, OTRS should contact whomever sent the email explaining why and request clarification; OTRS may also replace the "pending" template with {{OTRS received}}. There tends to be a backlog in verifying OTRS requests and the verification process take a bit of time; moreover, since the email may involve person information, OTRS is only really going to deal with the person who sent it. You can ask general questions at COM:OTRSN, but OTRS won't go into specific details on a public page such as that. IF you've got any questions about this, feel free to ask them below or at COM:OTRSN. -- Marchjuly (talk) 21:15, 16 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Bambino4: It appears that the file has been deleted once again. I asked Ronhjones, the administrator who deleted the file, about this at User talk:Ronhjones#File:World Table Hockey Championship 2017.jpg about this, and he said that some emails were received but that there were problems with them. The first batch that were sent in last year were forwarded emails (i.e. emails the copyright holder probably sent to you or someone where were then forwarded to OTRS), but OTRS is pretty much never going to accept this type of email since its very hard to verify their authenticity; basically, the original copyright holder has to be the person emailing OTRS. The most recent email sent in (perhaps the one you've mentioned above) also had an issue though I'm not exactly sure what. I'm neither a Commons administrator nor an OTRS volunteer, so I cannot access the emails to provide you with any more specific information. So, you can try asking Ronhjones or at COM:OTRSN. However, as I mentioned above, OTRS will not discuss specific details with you if you weren't the person who sent in the emails; moreover, they will not post any details on Commons pages which everyone can see and most likely will only provide such details to the email addresses they have on file for each OTRS ticket. So, you may have to go back to the person(s) who sent in the emails (if it wasn't you) and ask them to contact OTRS using the same email address that they used before and request clarification. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:10, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
