Please Delete My 3 Book Cover Files[edit]

I’m sorry I didn’t mean to do that copyright thing, but I thought they were public since they were a book cover. Can you please delete them, so that I don’t get blocked. NerdyKaiExpo (talk) 03:17, 22 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@NerdyKaiExpo: Lots of people make the same mistake and you'll almost certainly not going to be blocked for making a good-faith mistake; however, if you keep repeating a the same mistake over and over again, you might run into to some trouble.
If you want to have the file deleted, you can add {{SD|G7}} to the top of the file's page and an administrator will delete it per COM:CSD#G7. Or, you can just do nothing and the file should be deleted by an administrator as a copyright violation fairly soon. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:28, 22 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

AcademyOcean uploaded images copyright licenses[edit]

Hi, I am writing an article and I've uploaded several images to the Wiki Commons to be included in the article, namely:

1. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiFile:AcademyOcean_8P_Conference.jpg

2. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:AcademyOcean_YCombinator_Certificate.png

3. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:AcademyOcean_Lighthouse_Stickers.png

4. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:AcademyOcean_Product_of_the_Day_badge.png

They are all marked as for deletion because "A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license."

How can I provide proper proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license? The details for each picture:

1. I personally took the picture, I'm the author.

2. This certificate was issued to the company I work for, I am not sure who is considered the owner. Is it the person whose name is on the certificate?

3. I personally know the designer who designed the stickers in the image, do I need him to send a letter to OTRS?

4. This is a screenshot of the badge from Product Hunt. How do I properly submit something like a website screenshot?

Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tvlasenko (talk • contribs) 08:21, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Tvlasenko. You should find the answers to all of your questions in Commons:Licensing and Commons:OTRS. Are you connected to Academy Ocean in anyway or have you been asked to try and write a Wikipedia article about the company? — Marchjuly (talk) 10:42, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Marchjuly. Thank you, I did read those Commons sections, still have questions. I'll go over them again, in case I missed the answers and get back if I still need help. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tvlasenko (talk • contribs) 11:39, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
You can also ask for help at COM:HD as well. -- Marchjuly (talk) 11:59, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
