Es getht wohl um File:Logo Kant.png. Nun da müüste ein Represetant der Schule eine Mail an das Commons-Support-Team schicken und die Veröffentlichung des Logos unter einer (genauen) freien Lizenz bestätigen. Siehe dazu Commons:OTRS/de. Ich emfehle die Lizenz {{Cc-by-sa-4.0}}. Aber Achtung: 1) das ganze kann länger dauern (auch einige Wochen) und 2) danach kann jder weltweit das Logo zu jedem Zweck benutzen, z.B. auch auf T-shirts drucken und für teuer Geld verkaufen. I am not very clear about the reason, perhaps because of a request to change the name of the included file, because there is only one file, or only one contributor. In any case, it's a project or process that starts at this point, and it will take time to include more images, which already exist, and perhaps more contributors. Finally, I would ask you to reverse this removal, to restore the category, because, as I say, it is a starting point for the development of a larger project. Hi, the problem was it was completly empty, which mean there was no description nor some sensefull parent caretories. I was working on some maintenance lists and tried to find a sensefull parent category without success. So I decided to delete it. Marek Mietelski family picture

Hi, JuTa. Could you please explain me why have cancelled this picture from the Wiki Commons? The picture has been taken in 1935 by my late grandfather and today I'm the only owner of both the picture (in my family album) and the film negative. In my opinion the picture finely displays the "climate" of the 1930s and the only two persons still alive (of the five pictured there) accepted including it within Wiki with great pleasure. There was no indication that this could have been made by a family member and you are the only heir. Duplicates

Hello, thanks you for you maintenance work. Sadly museums have always duplicates in their databases, and sadly these images have differents URLs (e.g. [1] vs [2] therefore I did not find a way to avoid to upload the duplicates. I just deleted a few dozen of them, but I did not create redirects as the files were uploaded only yesterday and they were not used. GBCT Logo

I have updated the GBCT logo with what I understand to be the correct licence. Logos were supplied by the organisation and are available under "attribution"

Regrading the GTC logo, the organisation are registering it as they did not have that done and once that is through I will attempt to updates the licene on Wiki.

Pharyngeal fricatives audio

Hi, could you restore the versions of File:Voiceless pharyngeal fricative.ogg and File:Voiced pharyngeal fricative.ogg? Pharyngeal fricatives and epiglottal fricatives (also known as pharyngeal trills) are definitely different sounds, so if the files are identical then they are inaccurate. I would like to consult Wikipedia editors on which versions are accurate, but now that you've deleted them I can't do so. Thanks. Now that I've looked closer, it seems it is rather Voiceless epiglottal fricative.ogg and Voiced epiglottal fricative.ogg that should should be deleted. See Commons:Deletion requests/File:Voiceless epiglottal plosive.ogg. (I can't put the entire blame on those who spuriously overwrote the files, however, as Wikipedia used to rely simply on filenames to determine which files to show.) Hallo JuTa , Sie hatten mir für diese Datei eien Mail geschrieben wg. Unklarheit bei der Lizenz: "RS111_Peter-Henry-von-Koss.jpg". Ich habe das Bild persönlich von der norwegischen Rettungsgesellschaft Redningsselskapet erhalten, weil ich danach gefragt hatte. (Zitat der Mail: "Hi, Andreas, Use this picture instead. This is from 2017, with our new logo. Credit: Redninsselskapet. -Enjoy RS-Eigil Andersen". Wenn ich ein Bild quasi geschenkt bekomme, kann ich dies als mein Bild hochladen mit Bezug zum Quellauthor? P.S. ich hatte die Gesellschaft schon angeschrieben mit der Bitte, die Lizenzvorlage auszufüllen und an COMMONS zu senden. Bisher sehe ich das nicht und vielleicht sieht sich Herr Andersen nicht dazu in der Lage. Wie soll ich in einem solchen Fall verfahren? Ich möchte ungern gegen die Lizenzbestimmungen verstoßen. Hallo Awistreich, ich sehe {{OTRS pending}} ist bereits auf der Dateibeschreibunsgseite, aber leider keine Lizenz. Die müssten also eine ihnen genehme Lizenz wählen - z.B. {{Cc-by-sa-4.0}} - und an das Commons-Support-Team per mail schiken - siehe Commons:OTRS. Ohne Lizenz wird die Datei nach einer Woche gelöscht, was bald der Fall ist. Du kannst auch dort schonmal nachfragen, ob {{Cc-by-sa-4.0}} für sie OK ist und das dann nachtragen. Falls die Datei glöscht werden sollte, und sich hinterher die Freigabe als valide herausstellt, kann und wird sie in der Regel aber wieder hergestellt. Gruß --JuTa 12:43, 16 May 2020 (UTC)

Please stop deleting my creative commons contributions. You have deleted several of my original contributions to creative commons. This is destructive, unwarranted, and denies me your assumption of good faith. Furthermore, you have deleted these works without any notification to my, denying me any right to due process before the deletion.

In most, if not all, cases you have deleted images I have created using PowerPoint. These images use the PowerPoint drawing tools, and occasionally include clip art from creative-commons collections assembled by PowerPoint. I take care to only include clip-art images already released under creative commons. As a consequence, the resulting (newly created composite) image is released into the creative commons when I release rights to my creative contributions to the work.

Suppression photo de la Chancellerie Polonaise

Bonjour JuTa, je ne comprend pas vos suppressions de photos de la Chancellerie de Pologne, pour lesquels je suis intervenu dans les propositions de suppression (par exemple ici Commons:Deletion requests/Files in Category:Franciscus with Zoran Zaev in 2018) pour lesquelles dans une première proposition l'administrateur @King of Hearts: avait statué sur un maintien du fait de la notoriété de l'auteur (une chancellerie). Hallo JuTa, das verstehe ich nicht ganz? Warum werden gleich aussehende Flaggen jetzt unter einer Datei zusammengefasst? Müssten dann nicht auch die Flaggen von Franken, Hessen, Indonesien und Monaco zusammengefasst werden? Unter Horizontal bicolor white and red flags oder Horizontal bicolor red and white flags gibt es bestimmt noch mehr Beispiele. Die waren binär identisch. Ich arbeite regelmäßig Special:ListDuplicatedFiles ab. Bei den anderen Flaggen gibt es dann wohl winzige Unterschiede. Hallo JuTa, ich wollte die Kategorie Pleated trousers neu erstellen da ich mir sicher bin das da mal was kommen wird. Ich wollte da nur einen Einteiler (drei Bilder) mit diesem Hosentyp als Unterkategorie einfügen. Nur habe ich die Info bekommen das diese Kategorie bereits existierte und von dir gelöscht wurde weil es nur eine Person gab die Beiträge lieferte. Ähm... soll das bedeuten das keine Hosen aus Plissee (Stoff) gibt? Oder hattest du einfach einen schlechten Tag? Votre interprétation tatillonne conduit à opérer une auto-censure généralisée, y compris concernant des personnages qui ont plusieurs siècles.

Cela est d'autant plus incohérent que sont permises, par exemple, des images de sportifs, de chanteurs ou de top-models qui sont certes des images "dûment autorisées" par ces personnes, mais qui sont surtout de pures images de communication et à caractère totalement promotionnel. By this type of artwork its allways better to confirm your authorship through Commons:OTRS. Otherwise its normaly highly doubtfull that the creator and/or copyright holder is identical to the uploader. The archives I said I created entirely, I really created them. And in regards with the scope, it's not a problem in regards to Polandball-style images because there are a lot of Polandball-related images in Commons. Dear JUTA,

you are a Wikipedia Administrator and Bureaucrat, I am a poor content provider for Wiki both in IT and EN. So please help me! Before publishing an article or making any changes I study and collect plenty of documentation. I am very attentive to copyrights for images and texts. Most of the images I upload on Wikimedia are my own photos, sometimes I upload images produced by other persons and I am very attentive to their intellectual property any copyrights.

The general rule is that when the author died more than 70 (seventy) years ago there are no more rights to be empowered by the authors and the image is free for everyone.

This is exactly what happens for the image I published which you deleted and delinked. The author is an Italian archaeologist named Antonio Taramelli, he excavated the site of Santa Vittoria and published its complete map in 1931. Taramelli died in 1939: 81 years ago. I believe there is no copyright on this image!!

If I have been wrong please let me know what was wrong and this will allow me to learn more form Wiki.

But if I was right I would like my picture to be re-published and re-linked on Wikimedia.

Hello. Thank you for your warning about image which have I upload to Wikimedia Commons. I am pretty new to Wikimedia Commons, honestly i've just try to take a image from Google graphics to add to my edit of article (i couldn't do it anyway, probadly because image wasn't verified yet). I had think that Google graphic publishing the images and photos that can be used freely (for example in the presentations) so I hadn't think about copyrights. We have uploaded the artwork of Birger Carlstedt on behalf of Amos Rex and Konstsamfundet, who own both the commercial rights and copyright according to the artists will. It is only 45 years since the artist passed, but the owners wish to share the art with the public. They have sent an OTRS-consent, but that has not yet been processed and now the art was flagged. Is there anything we can do to speed up the process? As far as we are concerned it is the first time a museum has agreed to share art in this way, so it would be a shame if the art was deleted before the OTRS-process has been completed. Hi, thank you for answering so quickly! I am refering to this one https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Deletion_requests/File:Skr%C3%A4ck_birger_Carlstedt.tif , it has not been deleted yet but has been flagged. It was uploaded by the account User: Foto-Fredrika which is part of the same project as I am. We uploaded 40 pictures, and the letter of consent was sent by the museum to permissions-sv@wikimedia.org but I think it has not been processed yet.

Hi, We noticed now that the new file uploaded a few days ago redirects to an old file that doesn't have the appropriate OTRS etc. This seems to be the problem, we will try to fix it. This means that that https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Deletion_requests/File:Skr%C3%A4ck_birger_Carlstedt.tif can be deleted. Thank you for your help! :) The version we uploaded on June 13th included data like measurements, technique, Wikidata etc (please see https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Harlekin_591-BC_-_Birger_Carlstedt.tif for reference) but this information was somehow lost because this other version of the painting excisted. Hi. It seems this issue is settled, as there is a {{PermissionOTRS|2020061610003516}} tag. Yet the file still carries a "delete" tag. No other file regarding this group file permission seems to carry this delete tag. Could this be corrected? All the best.--Paracel63 (talk) 11:58, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
