Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.
Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.

Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.

Wiki Loves Earth Spain 2018 has started![edit]

Dear Hodolog,

As every year, Wiki Loves Earth in Spain, an international photographic contest about natural heritage sites in the Spanish territory, started on May 1st. On behalf of the Wikipedia community and Wikimedia España (WM-ES), and as a participant in former editions of the event, we'd like to encourage you to participate in the 2018 edition. We do know that you've been keen on contributing your work to the free knowledge in the past and therefore believe that you'll be glad to help us again to document biodiversity.

If you have comments, questions or suggestions about the contest, they are more than welcome. You can leave them here. You can review the rules of the contest in it official site (Spanish).

We look forward to your free images!

I have also copied your photos of that church to Category:Santo Ecce-Homo. User categories are only visible to logged-in users and hidden to any other person who is looking for photos on Commons. I think you want your photos to be found and seen.

If you look at the bottom of for example File:Santo Ecce-Homo - Nave.jpg, you can see that "Santo Ecce-Homo by Galopax" is listed among the hidden categories. --Cart (talk) 11:18, 20 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Lo siento, CFA1877. Parece me he equivocado, con dos categorías en Commons, sí diferenciadas, y dos Qs en Wikidata, no diferenciados, al menos en el nombre. La cosa es que el mapa interactivo, en el artículo de eswiki, parece asume las coordenadas de la de FEVE. Trataré de arreglar lo que pueda.
