I have created a updated version of Luther's Rose to correct several visual inconsistencies in the current version, which seems to be a trace of a raster image. This new version ensures perfect symmetry, as the flower elements can be rotated by any multiple of 72 degrees for perfect overlap. Additionally, the heart and cross elements are exactly centered and are horizontally symmetrical. The updated file is also more size-efficient at 10KB, compared to the current file's 13KB, without compromising on quality. On this website of the Municipality of Ljubljana, an official vectorized coat of arms of Ljubljana can be found (under the "Grb MOL" download, free to use under Template:PD-Slovenia-exempt). The CoA we have right now is made by a Commons user. The official version is mostly the same (so no major changes), but it features a slightly different shade of green and has slight changes to the dragon's eye and the castle gate. I want to overwrite this file so that Commons features the officially distributed CoA instead of a user-made one. Since the same CoA is also used on the flag, I also request permission to overwrite the Flag file. I am currently creating new versions of the Locator Maps of my country, with updated data extracted from OpenStreetMap. Until a few months ago I could replace them one by one, but recently a restriction was implemented to prevent overwriting existing files without first requiring an exception for each file. Which would be impossible for me to achieve because there are nearly 500 locator maps that I want to replace.

I have explicit approval from the user who created them.

The previous 1-9K categorization is absurdly low, likely a reflection of the number of professional soldiers as opposed to active-duty personnel, which are mostly conscripts. The map already has very iffy methodology and cites no sources, so I cannot be certain that this aligns with the original author's methodology, but I believe this small improvement will give readers a better idea of reality. In 1996-2004 in Russia life sentence was used as replacement for death penalty only. Since 2004 life sentence are used as replacement for death penalty (like early) and as general penalty for capital offense. @GPSLeo: The current version of the Veneto flag appears to be more factually correct than the version that was used for this file. We could have OttovianoUrsu create a new version and we could go to English Wikipedia to replace usage with the more correct flag map and then file a DR for the current flag map when all usage on Wikipedias is replaced if you think this file shouldn't be overwritten. I feel like adding Crimea as part of Ukraine for this would be a controversial change. The military operators maps are not uniform as far as this. File:M113 operators.svg has Ukraine but not Crimea. Thing is that for unknown (to me) reason Crimea in File:BlankMap-World.svg code is part of Russia and therefore in order to make a correct map, you need to add Crimea manually. This would not be an uncontroversial minor edit. It's a significant aesthetic difference. Upload the crop under a different filename. I personally like better the way this is presented now than what I'd expect to result from a crop.

Hi, friends, for this series of Chinese Marshals I uploaded, they were I scanned from the <People Pictorial> of 1955 October edition. They are standard portrait of these 10 marshals. Although some of them has has a little low resolution than the old one, but like Xu Xiangqian, I compared the proportion and I uploaded is correct same to the newspaper of China'a official ones, and the old one has a higher resolution but it widens the horizontal proportion. and I checked the resolution of all 10 marshals, only XuXiangqian's seems lower than the old one. The other's are similar or higher than the old one, and the new one show more completed photo which includes the star of shoulder or the medal on chest.
