Thanks for uploading File:Newgrounds.png. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Newgrounds.png]]) and the above demanded information in your request.

File:Fandom.png has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

This media may be deleted.
Thanks for uploading File:Martín Yeza.webp. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

yemen flag colors?[edit]

hey so im wondering, do you think its fine to go ahead and start recoloring all the SVGs with the current yemeni flag? i saw the same construction sheet colors on vexilla-mundi so im willing to believe its correct NorthTension (talk) 22:42, 25 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@NorthTension What are you talking about? The only yemeni flag I recolored is the national one. And the color red I used is from FOTW (Vexilla Mundi uses the same red but I didn't change the flag because I saw that color in Vexilla Mundi).
And for your information, Vexilla Mundi isn't a reliable source for flags. Undertiago (talk) 21:03, 26 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
oh no i mean on my end i was gonna go change it for all the other files, sorry if that wasnt clear NorthTension (talk) 21:18, 26 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@NorthTension Oh sorry, my bad. Yes, you can change all the flags if no one is opposed about the new colors. Undertiago (talk) 21:25, 26 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
FYI: The colour used to display the elongated image of the Flag on page 3 of the "Presidency Council Resolution No. (1) of 1990 regarding the flag" is #fe0000.
That resolution is an official legal document on an official government website, but of course we have no idea who actually assembled the PDF and how or when they created the embedded image. It also is not clear why the image is elongated when the text above it explicitly states the flag width is two-thirds of its length. MapGrid (talk) 04:34, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@MapGrid At mofa-ye.org there is a yemeni coat of arms which the red used for the flag of the coat, approximately uses a color code of #E60000. If we don't have any more official sources that show the flag, then I think this is the most reliable tone we can use. Undertiago (talk) 23:52, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

February 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Swapnil1101. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Flag of India without proper source. Swapnil1101 (talk) 09:54, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Swapnil1101 Hi Swapnil, I never changed the Flag of India article, only the file of the flag. So please look again the page history because I think Vikassinghhhh was the one that changed it. Undertiago (talk) 22:47, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Indian flag colors should be change https://www.india.gov.in/india-glance/national-symbols Anon-ymousTrecen (talk) 12:51, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Anon-ymousTrecen The indian flag colours vary in different websites and photographs, the source you shared is an example of that. You can discuss your opinions in (File_talk:Flag_of_India.svg). Undertiago (talk) 16:55, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Flag and emblem of Oman[edit]

@Undertiago There is no evidence that the current, official rendition of the emblem is freely licensed. So PLEASE revert to the following versions from Open Clip Art, as soon as possible. And in the file description, put that the emblem is intentionally different from the version of the emblem used officially because there is no evidence that the official version is freely licensed.

Please revert to the following files as soon as possible: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/archive/d/dd/20221203012730%21Flag_of_Oman.svg https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/archive/7/7b/20221207001212%21National_emblem_of_Oman.svg 98.213.225.105 12:45, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I already reverted the files but instead of me, can you put the disclaimer about the emblem, because I don't know how should I display it. Undertiago (talk) 14:15, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Source for the Flag of Oman colors[edit]

@Undertiago You changed the colors of the Flag of Oman file without mentioning any sources whatsoever. Could you please link the sources you used but in your talk page only? 98.213.225.105 22:00, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
