This workshop is part of the Graphics Lab, a project aimed at picture retouching to improve the graphical content of the Wikimedia projects. More information about the lab can be found on its main page and requests pages (Illustrations ; Photographs ; Maps ; Video and Sound). To ask questions or make a suggestions, see the talk page of the graphic lab page.

This specific page is the requests page for the Photography Workshop. Anyone can make a request for a photograph to be improved. The standard format for making a request is shown below, along with general advice, and should be followed.

It would be great if the watermark could be removed; any other improvements that experts see as sensible would also be welcome! The local image for the subject currently in use on enwiki is unfortunately copyrighted in the US due to the URAA and will have to be removed, so this is the only one we have. Watermark removal would be very much appreciated. This bears the only image of the subject I could find that is unaffected by URAA restoration. Hi, from Commons:Help desk I was referred to Commons:Graphic Lab. Then I was referred from Commons:Graphics village pump to here, so I hope I've come to the right place here.
Recently I uploaded six images of statues. In the background you can clearly see wires of the railroad behind them. My question is if someone could remove these wires and then also make the background transparent. I have tried it with several free tools on the internet, but either it doesn't work or the quality is lost. I would like the images to be uploaded as new versions of the files. So not as new files, but as replacements (jpg format). I would be happy to hear if anyone would like to do this for me!
