Hola[edit]

las fotos las tomé de una web de turimos donde las tenian, si te fijas detenidamente la primera foto que tengo dice abajo, foto scopell 1941 y la otra no dice, pero aqui es donde quiero que te fijes bien, la foto que no tiene fecha es más antigua debido a que se ve muy borrosa y poco visible en contraste con la que si tiene fecha, razón por la cual alguien la tomó hace muchisimos años y por ello coloqué la plantilla de dominio público. la pagina de las fotos es esta de aqui http://www.ucrostravel.com/CastilloDeSalgarBarranquilla.php fijate bien y verás que esta que no tiene fecha se ve más antigua que la otra tomada en 1941.

Entonces que me sugieres, según lo que yo entiendo es que si una foto fue tomada hace 70 años o más puede ser publicada en cualquier lugar, debido a su antiguedad. si esto es cierto entonces indicame que plantilla necesito utilizar para no violar los derechos de autor. Si no es así como he leido entonces procede a borrarlas. Realmente no manejo muy bien el tema de las plantillas por eso te pido me indiques cual es la más adecuada, de lo contrario procede.

Identificadors wlm[edit]

He fet una consulta a User talk:Multichill#Monument identifiers per veure algunes implicacions tècniques en l'ús dels identificadors. Després n'haurem de parlar. --V.Riullop (talk) 19:03, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Intento explicar-me. El mes de setembre estarà actiu un formulari de càrrega especial, similar a l'utilitzat l'any passat on pràcticament només es demanava el Rijksmonumentnummer. Imagina que a més del número de Rijksmonument també admeti el número BIC o d'altres. Per exemple: carrego una imatge de Font-romeu amb el número PA00104028. El bot detectarà que aquest número és a dues bases de dades "monuments_fr_(ca)" i "monuments_fr_(fr)", és a dir un monument de França inclòs en llistes a ca.wiki i fr.wiki. Completarà les dades de descripció en francès i català extret de les llistes corresponents, posarà les coordenades, les categories..., i informarà a les dues Viquipèdies de que tenen una imatge nova per a les seves llistes. A més, actualitzarà dades estadístiques sobre el concurs, per exemple el progrés de la modalitat de premi per quantitat. Una conclusió és que l'identificador ha de ser únic, però també amb un format únic. En el nostre cas, si demanen als participants que identifiquin la seva foto com "(R.I.) - 51 - 0000135 - 00000" (tal com s'està posant a les llistes de Commons i de gl.wiki) podem tenir un problema per no escriure correctament els punts, guions, zeros, etc. Per altra banda, aquest identificador, amb el seu format, ha de ser únic en totes les llistes que l'utilitzin en diferents Viquipèdies, si no l'identificarà només en una llista i no en les altres. Per això ens hem de coordinar per utilitzar el mateix format en l'identificador, però abans volia veure les implicacions tècniques que hi ha al darrere. Ara mateix, pots comprovar que en les llistes de ca.wiki hem utilitzat un format reduït a la forma numèrica, en l'exemple anterior seria "135". Un possible problema és que si en el futur, o en l'edició de l'any que ve, volem ampliar per exemple als jardins històrics llavors necessitarem conservar la categoria, 51 en el cas dels monuments. Una opció intermèdia seria utilitzar un format simple: RI510000135 o RI-51-135 (els zeros a la dreta s'utilitzen poc i són per distingir diferents elements del mateix monument: que si l'escut sobre la porta, la finestra amb reixa...) Seguint en part amb el tema dels identificadors. Ja hi ha una primera funció de la base de dades central de monuments. El bot del Multichill ha afegit la plantilla {{BIC}} a les imatges trobades en llistes: Category:Cultural heritage monuments in Spain with known IDs. Un primer problema és que s'ha trobat que alguns monuments no són a la base de dades ja que no tenen un identificador numèric. Treballar amb dos identificadors diferents resulta un problema. Està explicat amb més detall a User talk:Multichill#BIC identifiers. Una segona qüestió és poder enllaçar a bases de dades externes, tant a la Viquipèdia com tenim a cawiki per a Catalunya o València, com a Commons per les imatges. Això obliga a tenir una plantilla diferent amb un paràmetre idurl. Pel que he vist, és també possible fer-ho a Galícia i algun altre (crec que Múrcia, ara no ho recordo). Dos exemples: Category:Castell de la Santa Bàrbara i File:El Campello Tower.jpg. Estan enllaçats afegint paràmetres manualment a la plantilla {{BIC}}. Per fer-ho automàticament cal trobar el paràmetre idurl. Ara mateix es pot afegir el link manualment a la plantilla, però jo espero que es carreguin milers de fotos durant el concurs :-) L'enllaç pot servir a més per comprovar fàcilment si la foto és del monument que diuen i no d'alguna altra cosa. És fàcil que a través d'un formulari simplificat es colin fotos fora de l'àmbit del concurs. Sobre posar dos codis hi haurà el mateix problema que per posar l'idurl. duda[edit]

hola, tengo una duda. esta foto la subí a commons. la licencia es Atribución-CompartirIgual 2.0 Genérica (CC BY-SA 2.0) y puede ser distribuida o publicada. Pero otro usuario la borró porque según la marca de agua dice copyright. En estos casos si un usuario anexa la marca de agua en la foto pero la sube a flickr con esta licencia (permitida), entonces puede subirse a commons ?

Template BIC[edit]

Hola Millars.

Estoy usando la plantilla BIC para documentar aquellas fotos de los bienes que voy subiendo y aquellas otras que localizo cuando voy completando los anexos de Wikipedia.

Cuando la utilizo, veo que se añade una categoría que es "Cultural heritage monuments in Spain by ID", sin embargo en esa categoría después aparece el nombre de la categoría y no aparece para nada el código RI-XX-YYYYYYY. Sugiero que en esa categoría apareciese en primer lugar ese código puesto que es "by ID". Esto sería muy útil a la hora de completar los anexos de los bienes en Wikipedia.

Eso es, he creado un pequeño ejemplo que lo puedes ver en "Category:B.I.C.". Estoy completando los anexos de los bienes de interés cultural y resulta muy dificil localizar fotos de los bienes buscando nombres y/o descripciones, mientras que si tuvieras un acceso fácil por el código todo sería mucho más fácil.--Juanje 2712 (talk) 15:46, 24 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Gracias por enseñarme estas herramientas, pero en la primera consultas las imágenes de los BIC que he puesto en el ejemplo y no aparecen y la segunda serviría si estuviese clasificada por código en vez de por nº de imágenes, porque de esa forma resulta muy difícil localizar el bien, máxime cuando por lo general tratas de buscar un bien del que hay pocas o ninguna imagen que son los que mas faltan en los anexos. Como profano en el tema de "templates", lo que tendría que hacer este template es lo siguiente: Buscar la categoría RI-XX-YYYYYYY, si existe ponérsela a la imagen y si no existe crearla y relacionarla a la categoría "B.I.C." Problema con usuario que borra fotos sin consultar[edit]

Este usuario veo que es un administrador pero no se toma el trabajo de preguntar la procedencia de algunas fotos o trabajos. Me di a la tarea de realizar esta tabla sobre el comportamiento del club a partir de los datos suministrados en el historial de la primera divisón, pero el usuario la borró y posteriormente la volví a subir a commons debido a que no existe violación alguna. Según el señor Martin esta imagen es una violación. Fui a su discusión y le comenté que esta tabla y esta de acá fueron subidas a commons partiendo de los datos históricos de sus respetivas competiciones. Te pido muy cordialmente intervengas en esta situación y en lo posible, le comentes a este señor que es lícito subir estos datos. gracias.

No sé qué hacer[edit]

Hola Millars, estoy categorizando fotografías de WLM 2012 y me encuentro con fotos que tienen la plantilla del concurso pero que, lamentablemente, no pertenecen a bienes de interés cultural categorizados. Les estoy retirando de la categoría, pero no sé qué hacer con la plantilla de WLM 2012. Aunque técnicamente se han subido como parte del concurso, no pertenecen a ningún BIC. ¿Qué hago? Nada, hombre, a mandar. Gracias por la información ¿Puedes decirme qué provincias son esas? De momento sólo he estado categorizando en Madrid (de las más de 900 que había apenas quedan ya unas 150), Segovia, Asturias y Granada. También he cambiado nombres cuando era necesario (entiendo que tienes permiso de renombrado de imágenes, yo he tenido que pedirlo de nuevo) y mandado a borrar alguna aberración o imágen inútil --Ecemaml ^{talk to me/habla conmigo} 08:18, 3 October 2012 (UTC) PD: por cierto, se me ocurre que los anexos en la wikipedia en español (no sé cómo están los anexos en la galipedia o la viquipèdia) sería interesante incluir un enlace a la categoría que recoge sus imágenes en commons e incluso montar consursos para escribir artículos sobre los BIC de los que tenemos fotos pero no artículo. Siéntete libre de hacer la propuesta cuando quieras (y no necesariamente diciendo que la idea fue mía :-P)[reply]

Seguro que te has encontrado fotografías con títulos erróneos o escasamente descriptivos. Para eso viene bien tener los permisos.

Sobre el concurso, yo había pensado en un clásico wikiconcurso, de los que dan estrellitas :-) Ese esquema tiene la ventaja de que es la propia comunidad la que lo administra. El otro esquema podría ser el de un concurso promovido desde WM-ES. Tiene la ventaja de que se puede coordinar (si hay voluntad) en todas las wikipedias involucradas y que puede traer editores nuevos. La desventaja es que el control es más laxo por parte de la comunidad, al no estar involucrada. En todo caso, e independientemente de cuál sea el enfoque, no hay que olvidar algo muy interesante de los DYK de la wikipedia en inglés, que vale tanto la creación (con un tamaño mínimo) como la ampliación (aumentando por cinco, si mal no recuerdo, la extensión). De hecho, lo he encontrado aquí. Mirando la Ley de Patrimonio de la Comunidad de Madrid, que se cita al respecto, dice que genéricametne todos los torreones son un BIC... Otra pregunta de nota[edit]

Hola Millars, me ha ocurrido otro tema curioso con la catedral de la Almudena de Madrid. En nuestra lista wikipédica no aparece (tampoco en el listado del Ministerio). Pero si te vas a esta lista, sí que aparece, aunque al parecer, tanto la Almudena como otros muchos, nunca fueron declarados BIC, aunque su expediente se incoó. ¿Qué hacemos con estos casos? No son BIC, pero son más que tu casa (supongo) o la mía. ¿Alguna idea (tanto para el hecho de que puedan participar en el concurso como para el más genérico de la categorización)? El problema que le veo a poner n/d en la plantilla BIC es que se acaba metiendo en la categoría «Cultural heritage monuments in Spain with known IDs» cuando no se conoce su ID. Si se queda vacío se incluye en la categoría «Cultural heritage monuments in Spain without known IDs» que es donde deberían estar ¿o no?. Hay que hablar y discutir sobre este tema y sobre qué hacer con los no estrictamente llamados BIC... un día de estos lo pongo en marcha en la discu del proyecto. --DPC (talk) 10:08, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hay BIC que no tienen el número ID, pero que realmente son BIC. Cuando he descubierto alguno de estos casos, lo que he hecho es mandar un correo electrónico al Ministerio de Cultura para que añada la información que falta y luego ponerlo en la lista de Wikipedia. Si un "monumento" indicado como BIC, no aparece en la base de datos de dicho Ministerio, secillamente se deben de borrar de la lista por provincias de Wikipedia. La lista del ministerio está bastante desactualizada y cuenta con bastantes errores. De hecho hemos estado intentando recopilar los errores en el wikiproyecto de Wikipedia. Hay muchos BIC sin códigos, principalmente porque se trata de declaraciones genéricas, por ejemplo, todos los monumentos megalíticos de Menorca y Mallorca son BIC, todos los castillos y edificicaciones defensivas de España son BIC, los horreos de Galicia y Asturias son BIC, etc. y no cuentan con códigos individuales dados por el MCU. Otra cosa es que haya un organismo en esa comunidad autónoma que otorge un código aparte. Digo esto porque no creo que el hecho de no aparecer en la lista de MCU sea motivo para retirarlo de las listas de Wikipedia. --Millars (talk) 20:32, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Monumento / monumental[edit]

Hola Millars:

La verdad que es lioso que las categorías estén sólo en inglés, ya que los conceptos en español no siempre coinciden con los ingleses. Igual que las fichas de cada imagen tienen una conversión automática en función del idioma del usuario, debería conseguirse algo parecido con las categorías. Conceptos:

"Monumental" (según el diccionario de la RAE) hace referencia a un monumento cuando se le considera "muy grande". Es decir, no importa su antigüedad, calidad, estilo o valor económico, lo que da realmente el valor de monumental es el tamaño.

"Monumento" (según el diccionario de la RAE) puede referirse hasta siete cosas diferentes: 1) una estatua, una inscripción o un sepulcro; 2) construcción que posee valor artístico, arqueológico, histórico, etc; 3) objeto o documento de utilidad para la historia; 4) obra científica, artística o literaria excepcional; 5) obra en que se sepulta un cadáver; 6) túmulo; y 7) persona de gran belleza y bien proporcionada físicamente (vamos, lo que vulgarmente se llama "tía buena"). Ante tanta riqueza del español (afortunadamente) no queda más remedio que combinar palabras, para aclarar conceptos:

Monumento escultórico, frente a una simple escultura.
Monumento conmemorativo (quizás el equivalente a memorial) cuando la escultura o la edificación recuerda un hecho o persona concreta, y el tiempo que ha pasado (centenarios, etc).
Monumento arquitectónico, frente a cualquier otro edificio.
Monumento funerario y mausoleo, frente a una tumba normalita
Monumento natural, para paisajes especiales o singulares
Monumento arqueológico
Monumento científico
Monumento literario

y seguramente habrá algún otro tipo de monumento. Todo esto a su vez, se puede subdividir por países, regiones (o comunidades autónomas), provincias y localidades. Así como por fechas (siglo, decenio, y año exacto) o estilos (gótico, romántico, modernista, contemporáneo, etc). Lo dicho, un auténtico lío, que encima hay que hacer equivalente en inglés.

Mi opinión: poner la categoría "BIC", y "Patrimonio de la Humanidad", para los que la tienen registrada legalmente, y en la categoría que les corresponda. Luego distinguir entre los edificios, esculturas, libros, paisajes, etc que se consideran normalitos de los que por una o varias características (antigüedad, originalidad, etc) se le pueda clasificar de "monumento". WM-ES, tenemos un problema :-)[edit]

Hola Millars, te dejo un mensaje para alertaros de un problema de licencias que he detectado últimamente (no había tenido tiempo de procesarlo, pero el otro día, hablando con Poco a poco, me animé a lanzarlo).

El problema está descrito aquí. Si alguien con conocimientos de copyright del capítulo pudiera intervenir sería estupendo. Para resumir, hasta ahora hemos estado usando información de lamoncloa.gov.es en la creencia de que se trataba de información suficientemente libre. Parece que no es así y se ha borrado bastante información. Una vía de ataque sería tratar de sustentar, si es posible, de forma jurídica, que dicha licencia es compatible con commons.

Pero donde yo creo que podría ser más útil el capítulo es acudiendo directamente a la Secretaría de Comunicación del Ministerio de la Presidencia. Tendría muchísima más fuerza una comunicación formal por parte del capítulo español de Wikimedia que la petición de un particular como yo, por poner un ejemplo. En el diff que le pongo a Poco a poco Cvbr (talk · contribs) declara trabajar para el gobierno, así que si os ponéis en contacto con él quizá os pueda dar el contacto adecuado. Lo que yo pienso es que habría que "convencer" a presidencia de que se deje de zarandajas y use CC-BY-SA como hacen otros gobiernos del mundo (seguro que tenéis un argumentario) y así dejaría de haber problemas. Yo lo dejo en vuestras manos porque, como me contó Poco a poco, hay un vocal en el capítulo dedicado al trato con administraciones, si mal no recuerdo. Creo que sería útil y muy "visible" conseguir que el gobierno liberase parte de sus contenidos (de hecho, tendría incluso más sentido que preparaseis un dossier que pudieseis enviar a gobierno o al grupo parlamentario popular con vistas a su análisis para incluirse en la Ley de Transparencia, pero eso supongo que son palabras mayores). Me he percatado de que {{BIC}} ha dejado de funcionar debido a la migración del antiguo Toolserver. Platonides no está muy activo, por lo que he visto, por lo que te lo digo a ti por si podéis migrarlo al nuevo servidor o hacer alguna otra ñapa. He hecho un apaño al módulo. Enlaza con la página general [1]. Para que vaya al monumento específico hace falta implementar una base de datos que bien seguro es lo que tenía Platonides en su espacio del ToolServer porque concatenando en la URL el id del monumento no se puede llegar a la página. Creo que de momento mejor queda esto que la página rota. A ver si apàrece Platonides o consiguen llegar al sitio en donde almacenaba la base de datos y lo volvemos a dejar bien. Hola Santi, la gente del toolserver me ha pasado tanto el código como la base de datos del programita de Platonides para WLM. Son un puñado de programitas en PHP y un par de dumps de MySQL. El problema es que estoy bastante oxidado en mis conocimientos de programación y entre que abra la cuenta en el nuevo servidor y sepa como instalarlo todo (en caso de que no hubiese que tocar nada) pasarán semanas. ¿Tenéis a alguien por WM-ES con conocimientos informáticos de verdad que pudiera/quisiera ponerse con eso? WLM 2015[edit]

He estado pensando sobre algunos problemas surgidos en commons en relación a la gestión de las imágenes y me gustaría proponer algunas ideas para poder afrontarlo con tiempo. Dadas mis "difíciles" relaciones con la wikipedia en español :-D, me gustaría desarrollar el trabajo aquí, aunque algunos temas requerirían algún tipo de trabajo centralizado y disponer de algunos programas en WMFLabs. ¿Crees que podría colaborar con vosotros? ¿Alguien podría estar interesado en echar una mano? Bueno, te cuento y tú me dices.

He estado varios años en la tarea de clasificar imágenes de WLM. Considero (y corrígeme si me equivoco) que para poder hacer útil una fotografía, esta debe estar, por lo menos, en la categoría correcta. Me di cuenta de que cuando Superzero subió los miles de imágenes de la cuenta de flickr, además de tener títulos incomprensibles, las imágenes estaban sin categorizar (aunque afortunadamente todas tenían un código).

Mi idea es simple: tener, como paso inicial de cualquier nueva edición de WLM, una base de datos con todos los monumentos implicados. Eso significa tomar todos los anexos y similares que existen en wikipedia y extraer de ahí la información disponible y almacenarla en una base de datos centralizada. Esa base de datos debería estar albergada en WMF Labs, pero gestionada por una entidad del estilo del capítulo español. Elementos fundamentales que deberían estar almacenados: el código y la categoría de commons en la que se encuentran las imágenes. Respecto a lo primero, mi larga experiencia en gestionar los monumentos madrileños me dice que la práctica totalidad de los monumentos cuyo expediente está incoado pero no declarado carece de código. Recordarás que hice una ñapa en es:Anexo:Bienes de interés cultural en tramitación de la ciudad de Madrid, pero los códigos utilizados (los del Plan General de ORdenación Urbana) no parecen los más indicados (de hecho, algunos siguen careciendo de ellos). Ahí es donde creo que habría que asignarles un código. Desde wikipedia no tiene sentido, no somos fuente primaria, pero nada le impide a WM España crear un código y asignárselo. Doy la tabarra con esto porque, una vez que todos y cada uno de los monumentos tienen un código es relativamente sencillo programar bots que muevan los ficheros a su categoría y los categoricen. Posiblemente esta base de datos exista ya (¿cómo si no funciona el programa heritage de WMF Labs, el cual, por cierto, habría que mejorar un poco?).

Al hilo de lo anterior, habría que verificar todos y cada uno de los anexos existentes para ver si están todos los monumentos. Creo que se ha hecho aisladamente, pero convendría hacerlo de una vez para poder comprobar que están todos los que són. También habría que coordinar el contenido de esta base de datos con wikidata, de forma que toda esta información esté allí también. Esto, una vez construida la base de datos, debería ser sencillo con un bot.

Finalmente habría que desarrollar algunas herramientas de mantenimiento para cada edición, al estilo de los gadgets que permitieran: (a) marcar las imágenes subidas como revisadas; (b) pedir información adicional al que sube la imagen; (c) moverlas a otras ediciones nacionales de WML (por ejemplo, cuando en WML España se sube una imagen del puente de Londres); (d) moverlas a una categoría de "no monumento" cuando se sube una imagen que no es de un monumento... Y así varias cosas más.

Seguro que hay muchas cosas que ya están hechas, pero la verdad es que no tengo ni idea de cómo estáis planteando esto y me gustaría, en lo posible, colaborar. Gracias por tu tiempo y un saludo --Discasto _{talk | contr. | es.wiki analysis} 22:47, 18 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Preveo, por cierto, los mismos "problemas" en WLE. Aquí parece que, por lo menos, las listas en wikipedia ya incluyen la categoría, pero si no hay un sitio donde se centralice la relación entre códigos y categorías, la categorización, a mano, será luego un infierno (y, siendo serios, no se hará nunca). Hola Millars. ¿Cómo van con los preparativos de WLE? Yo estoy un tanto complicada con la creación de la página donde los participantes puedan subir los archivos de imágenes. Me han ayudado y cuento hasta ahora con las templates en inglés Category:Wiki Loves Earth in Uruguay templates. Me explicaron que tengo que traducirlas al español, pero si bien tengo el conocimiento lingüístico para hacerlo, no cuento con el conocimiento técnico-informático para hacerlo y para crear una página de subida de las fotos. ¿Podrías guiarme un poco? Hi Millars. I just noticed that this picture is by mistake submitted as part of WLM-IR, while it seems to me it's part of the Spain's competition. Is there any way you can include the picture in your jury's decision at this point? Poblaciones sin foto[edit]

Hola Millars, agradezco tu gratitud, seguiré subiendo fotos a la Wiki de artículos que encuentre que no tienen, o que tienen imágenes poco descriptivas, ahí hay una buena tarea de revisión, hay muchas imágenes que son mas de redes sociales que las que debería tener una enciclopedia. Sobre subir las fotos a través de proyectos, tiene sus ventajas y sus inconvenientes, hay tantos abiertos que me ha pasado en los BIC (Bienes de Interés Cultural) subir fotos por el formulario y tirarse varios meses sin usar porque nadie lo revisa en mucho tiempo, o de poblaciones que no aparecen en listados sin foto porque hay un JPG del escudo o del mapa de pueblos en una provincia, y sin embargo no tienen ninguna imagen de la población, es por eso que ya no lo suelo mirar en esos listados. Cuenta conmigo para participar en proyectos para Wikimedia Commons, en la medida de mis posibilidades. Y por último una ayuda, llevo un par de días intentando subir una foto de la Escuela Nacional de Sanidad y en el último paso me aparece el error siguiente "Advertencia desconocida: emptyfile, stashfailed", pensaba que era por el título que estaba repetido pero lo he intentado de otras formas y pasa lo mismo, creo que puede ser porque la primera vez que lo intenté subir se boqueo el servidor y las siguientes la da como que ya existe sin ser cierto. WLE en la viquipèdia[edit]

Hola Santi, te comento cómo está el asunto en la viquipèdia en relación a los listados.

Lo primero y fundamental es que están hechas "a pelo". Esto es, con wikitexto, sin plantillas. Es un horror, pero supongo que podría arreglarse sin demasiado esfuerzo si creáis las plantillas correspondientes. Se pueden crear a nivel de wikiproyecto y así no colisionarían con plantillas del espacio principal.

Listados hay tres. Nadie los ha tocado desde que los creé yo el año pasado:

¿Por qué está el de Cataluña en un wikiproyecto? No encuentro muchas razones, entiendo que las costumbres de cada wikipedia son distintas.

¿Mi sugerencia? Crear un wikiproyecto denominado Wiki Loves Espanya (el nombre lo dejo a tu elección). Crear las plantillas correspondientes y crear listados. Creo que os podría ayudar a trasladar los tres listados de más arriba a un formato con plantillas. Algo importante es que en la viquipèdia, tú lo sabes bien, las comarcas son importantes. Wiki Loves Monuments Spain 2016 is coming!

As every year, Wiki Loves Monuments in Spain, an international photographic contest about cultural heritage in the Spanish territory, will start on next September 1st. On behalf of the Wikipedia community and Wikimedia España (WM-ES), and as a participant in former editions of the event, or in other photographic contests organized by WM-ES, we'd like to encourage you to participate in the 2016 edition. We do know that you've been keen on contributing your work to the free knowledge in the past and therefore believe that you'll be glad to help us again.

We want to inform you about a substantial change in the rules of the contest: this year only images of monuments or municipalities without previous photograph in Wikimedia Commons are accepted. Hola, me paso por aquí para agradecerte sinceramente tu participación en el debate de mi desbloqueo, incluso si ha sido finalmente infructuoso. Tras más de dos años completamente alejado de la interacción con la Wikipedia en Español, me causa gran tristeza el nuevo fracaso de mi petición. Como ya he comentado en mis peticiones de desbloqueo de las últimas semanas, mi única intención es pasar página y seguir contribuyendo al conocimiento libre. Reconozco la frustración de seguir en el mismo punto en el que estábamos en 2012, cuando ya se arguyeron políticas inexistentes para negar un desbloqueo que, aparentemente, cuenta con un respaldo mayoritario por parte de todos aquellos que han querido pronunciarse sobre el tema.

También te lo agradezco porque, posiblemente, no has apoyado mi desbloqueo por tu simpatía o cercanía hacia mí, sino porque crees que ese precisamente no es un argumento relevante y sí el avance del proyecto. Precisamente porque soy consciente de todo lo ocurrido y de todas las cosas que hice mal es que te doy las gracias por querer darme una oportunidad para demostrar con hechos que lo lamento y que deseo reparar los perjuicios causados. No voy a tirar la toalla y seguiré intentando poder volver a reintegrarme en el proyecto, con los mismos deberes que todos los demás, pero también con los mismos derechos. Hasta que esto ocurra, seguiré con mi labor en Wikiexilio, aquí en Commons y en Wikidata.Gracias finalmente por haber dado la cara en un debate en el que lo más cómodo era simplemente quedarse al margen. Estadísticas WLE 2017[edit]

Hola Santi, en primer lugar quiero daros las gracias por el buen rato del sábado pasado. Lo pasé muy bien y fue un placer conoceros en persona a algunos de vosotros. Como además tuviste la deferencia de mencionar explícitamente mis estadísticas... no me ha quedado más remedio que ponerme con ellas :-). Voy contándoselo más en directo a @Rodelar: , pero que sepáis que estoy en ello y, aunque lento, voy terminando cosas: Commons:Wiki Loves Earth 2017 in Spain/Stats. Aunque quedan cosas, espero que tengáis los datos que necesitáis.

Por otro lado, no sé si Rubén te comentó mis "hallazgos" en relación al premio de mayor número de lugares de importancia comunitaria. El otro día se me ocurrió crear enlaces a las contribuciones de un mismo wikipedista en una edición dada desde el resto de ediciones. Si le echas un vistazo a , verás que se puede ir a las participaciones de 2016 y 2015. Verás que la táctica es clara. Tiene imágenes como de 75 LIC y cada año manda una (como mucho dos) de unos sesenta. Si te fijas, se trata en casi todas las ediciones de imágenes (distintas, eso sí) de los mismos LIC. Personalmente me parece un timo no solo hacia la organización, sino hacia el resto de participantes. Limitar WLE a LIC nuevos creo que será complicado, pero limitar esa categoría concreta a imágenes de LIC que no hayan sido cubiertos por la misma persona en ediciones anteriores sería suficiente. Es una idea.

Fotos sin categorizar en Wiki Takes La Manchuela 2017[edit]

Hola Santi, de Wiki Takes La Manchuela 2017 subí varios centenares de fotos, posiblemente algunas se me hayan pasado de categorizar del evento, pero acabé un poco saturado de editar tantas fotos por las noches, además de las de La Manchuela 2017 hicimos una veintena de pueblos sin fotos en la ida y la vuelta. Le echaré un vistazo cuando tenga tiempo al resto. De lo de la plantilla de wmes para la foto de Late Motiv, no tengo ni idea, ¿qué es?. A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.

When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Wiki Science Competition 2021 has started[edit]

Dear uploader of European Science Photo Competition 2015 and Wiki Science Competition 2017 and Wiki Science Competition 2019, we would like to remind you that Wiki Science Competition 2021 has started in the whole world. It is now completed in Russia (active in May), but it's still open in almost all the other countries.

If you want to take part in WSC2021, please consult this page. Only some national categories are associated to competitions with local prizes.

If you are an expert user, we remind you that images uploaded within the deadline can be included in any case in their national category even if not uploaded with the main interface.

Please keep in mind that there is a new category this year, that is "astronomy".

If you already took part in a country that has completed its upload phase, please consider improving the description in English of your files (click on the edit button), since such description is what the international jury will use to evaluate them. World finalists will be finalized after March 2020.

Wiki Loves Folklore 2024 has started, Join us![edit]

Greetings from the Wiki Loves Folklore International Team! Wiki Loves Folklore is an international photography contest hosted on Wikimedia Commons to document folklore and intangible cultural heritage from around the world, such as folk festivals, folk dances, folk music, folk activities, folk games, folk cuisine, folk wear, folktales, folk games, folk religion, mythology, and many more.

The campaign invites participants to document photographs, videos, and audios linked to folk culture and fit within the contest's theme. Through this campaign, you may become a part of a community dedicated to preserving our intangible culture, which has been brought and passed down for thousands of years.

How can I Contribute?

The dates for the submission in the photography contest on Wikimedia Commons are from 1 February 2024 through 31 March 2024. Probably you are wondering how you can take part. It’s simple: grab a camera, record an image, video or audio under the folklore theme and start uploading or Click on Upload Now Icon which is available on right side of Wiki Loves Folklore 2024.
