WLM photo tagged by mistake

Hello and sorry for the delay. In WLM Spain we found several pictures from other countries every year and we change the template of the country and we try to categorize them properly. In this case, the picture has a watermark, and it's too small, so it can not win. But thanks a lot for say it. I'm not sure if the picture shows that church, so we will have to investigate. سلام 4nn1l2. ممنون از توجه‌ات. عکس باید توجه و تمرکزش روی یادمان باشه، و این به این معنی‌است که عکس‌های این جوری معمولاً در همون مرحله‌ی اول داوری رد می‌شند. :( کاری که خیلی از کشورها می‌کنند اینه که این عکس‌ها رو پاک نمی‌کنند، برای اینکه کاربری که بار اول اومده یه کاری انجام داده تو ویکی‌مدیا تو ذوق‌ش نخوره. به نظرم خوب هست که برای این کاربرها یه پیغامی بذاریم و براشون توضیح بدیم که چه جور عکسی شانس بیشتری برای برنده‌شدن داره، و اینکه ویکی‌انبار جای گذاشتن عکس‌های شخصی نیست. البته جوری که کاربر ناراحت نشه. اگه موافقی، می‌تونی برای این دو کاربر پیغام بذاری. اگه ترجیح می‌دی درگیر این تیکه نشی، بگو من می‌تونم تو صفحه‌شون پیغام بذارم. بازم ممنون که توجه داری. WLM2017 in the UK

Request for reboot WLE-CN in Montage again

I accidently add two more rounds and it breaks the chain. And it seems not includes every photo in the wle-cn campaign?Fantasticfears (talk) 11:38, 21 July 2017 (UTC)

• what do you mean by reboot? I see that in your first round 2 of your jurors have finished their assignments. If we completely delete your campaign, you will lose that information. Is this fine?
• Regarding the photos that get imported to the tool for wle-cn: what category have you used for importing photos?

I couldn't delete the second and the third round which are wrongly put. If it's possible, I'd like to have the first round's result available somehow. As of the photo, it's correct. I was wrong about how the jury sees all the photos which is not. We are good in this. But we definitely needs to remove the second and the third round.Fantasticfears (talk) 19:05, 23 July 2017 (UTC)

@Fantasticfears: I don't see a third round anymore, I guess you've already cancelled it. I can't delete your second round, unless someone forces this in the backend, but I also don't see why you have to do it. You can click on the the three dots on the right-hand-side of your round 1 and download the results of round 1. Please confirm if this works for you. --LilyOfTheWest (talk) 04:35, 25 July 2017 (UTC)

@LilyOfTheWest: Things started to get messed up a bit. I tried to download the results. It's ~190 record there. has 590 photos. So the photos are not complete even in the first round. I planed to do a sweep on the first round to get rid of random photos. Then I would need to ask our juries to rank them. But I'm blocked in the second round which is shown as finalized. As I said, I found out the first round doesn't import all the photos :( Could you give me some help here? I am really confused.Fantasticfears (talk) 06:35, 25 July 2017 (UTC)

@Fantasticfears: ok! let's think for a few min together. :) You say not all your photos are in round 1. To me, this means we have to start from round 1. Basically, let's create a new campaign for you and let's start from scratch, and let's check-in in every step together to make sure everything is okay. @Fantasticfears: I created a new campaign which is called WLE China 2017. The old one has now an added "(Old campaign -- ignore)" note in its title. Here is my suggestion: please take your time and create your round 1 in peace. :) make sure you double-check the number of photos imported and assert that they are correct before you start assigning them. Adding coordinators to campaign

Hi! Thank you for granting us access to the Montage jury tool. I was just trying to start using it to filter the WLM photos; however, I needed to add user Mervat Salman as a fellow coordinator since she is working with me on the campaigns. The thing is, whenever I try that I get the error message Access forbidden: must have maintainer permissions. What should I do? --Abbad (talk) 17:46, 8 October 2017 (UTC).

Hi, can you open Egypt and Poland? Also, there is a strange bug with Iran (see talk), I will try again to recreate in the weekend, but maybe you can create the third round yourself to see if it works. سلام. :) ممنون از پیغام‌تون. خیلی خوب می‌شه اگه مسابقه در افغانستان هم برگزار بشه، مخصوصاً سال دیگه که ۱۰ سالگی مسابقه هست و تیم جهانی (که من درش هستم) امیدواره که کشورهای بیشتری بپیوندند به مسابقه. :) بهترین کاری که می‌شه کرد الآن اینه که شما افغانستان رو در صفحه‌ی کشورهای شرکت‌کننده در سال ۲۰۱۹ اضافه کنید، و یه موقع در بهمن ماه با هم صحبت کنیم و من براتون توضیح بدم که چه کارهایی باید کرد. اگه دوست‌داشتید یه‌کم تو این فاصله بیشتر بخونید، می‌تونید صفحه‌ای که برای برگزارکننده‌ها نوشته شده رو بخونید. یه کار دیگه هم که می‌تونید بکنید اینه که یواش یواش شروع کنید بگردید ببنید در افغانستان چه نهادی لیست یادمان‌های افغانستان رو جمع می‌کنه. تو ایران، سازمان میراث فرهنگی هست، مثلاً. اما تو کشورهای مختلف می‌تونه متفاوت باشه. امیدوارم این اطلاعات اولیه کمک کنه. من این روزها یه‌کم سرم شلوغه برنامه‌های امساله، اما تو بهمن‌ماه حتماً پا هستم که بیشتر حرف بزنیم و کمک کنم (و می‌دونم تو تیم جهانی بقیه هم مشکل‌شون همینه که تا دسامبر مشغول مسابقه امسال هستند). --LilyOfTheWest (talk) 14:35, 4 October 2018 (UTC)

WLM FR -> IR

Hi,

Just wanted to let you know, someone imported photo of Iran into WLM-FR : File:Ardebil.jpg, File:Masuleh-mosque.jpg, File:Masuleh-mosque2.jpg, File:Masouleh-cottage.jpg. I moved them to WLM-IR and tried to clean the import but I'm not sure how you do for WLM IR so you may want to check them. Plus, the template {{Cultural Heritage Iran}} is not indicated, I look for the ID, the mosque is maybe 5180 (?) no idea for the others.

سلام. نمی‌دانم راه‌اندازی مسابقه ویکی دوستدار یادمان‌ها در کشور ایران ایدهٔ شما بود یا نه. اگر بود، خواستم توجهتان را به fa:فهرست آثار ملی شهرستان سبزوار جلب کنم که چند لحظه پیش برگزیده شد و تعداد قابل ملاحظه‌ای از تصاویرش به کمک این مسابقه فراهم شد. بدین‌وسیله هم از زحمات شما تشکر می‌کنم و هم پیشنهاد می‌کنم که پس از پنج شش سال برگزاری مسابقه شاید وقتش رسیده باشد که معیارهای تعیین برندگان را کمی تغییر بدهید. مثلاً مصور کردن اثری که پیشتر هیچ تصویری از آن در ویکی‌پدیا نبوده امتیاز ویژه داشته باشد. فکر کنم در سایر کشورها (مثلاً بریتانیا تا آنجایی که من اطلاع دارم) از معیارهای مشابهی استفاده می‌کنند. ایران در مسابقهٔ جهانی هم موفق بوده است بنابراین این هدف هم محقق شده است. شاید وقتش رسیده باشد کمی هدف‌گذاری و زاویهٔ دید مسابقه را تغییر داد. ممنون بابت وقتی که صرف پروژه کرده‌اید و می‌کنید. 4nn1l2 (talk) 23:44, 20 October 2020 (UTC)
