Our first steps help file and our FAQ will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy. You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold contributing here and assume good faith for the intentions of others. This is a wiki - it is really easy.

Goodies, tips and tricks
  • Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your Graphics abilities.
  • All your uploads are stored in your personal Gallery

@Hansmuller: je maakte toen deze category aan, maar in het lemma over Elisabeth Leijnse wordt naar staat: ...over de aristocratische gezusters Céline en Elsa De Jong van Beek en Donk. Biohist template inheritance[edit]

Hi hi! I've been working on a GLAMs institution upload template based on {{Biohist}} called {{TePapaColl}}, but can see there's something going on with inheriting from {{Information}} that I don't quite get. Can you help me with the 'other fields trick' Biohist mentions, and whether I need to implement an intermediary template like {{Biohist-information}}? Thanks! @Avocadobabygirl @Steinsplitter Dear Avocadobabygirl, Thank you for your interest, it is nice to hear about your interesting project. I am searching for my mention of the "other fields trick" but I'm sorry can't find it! (Can you point out where you found it? I think it was a trick to stagger templates, you needn't worry.) The kind real template expert User:Steinsplitter had proposals for an improved version of the monstrous {{Biohist}}, which for lack of time i unfortunately wasn't able to follow up while keeping the same look and feel of Biohist that Naturalis required. Biohist might be difficult to maintain when {{Information}} - on the old coding of which Biohist relies - needs to be changed. So you might contact the real expert Steinsplitter. Bericht nlwiki[edit]

Ik heb geen idee welke gronden ik voor een deblokkade zou kunnen aanvoeren, maar heb je bericht geplaatst op nl:wp:De kroeg#Mail van Hansmuller. Over de achtergronden van de blokkade zal ik niet discussiëren, alleen dat die anders zijn dan je nu veronderstelt en in het verleden verondersteld hebt.

Dat je volkomen in het duister tast over de werkelijke achtergronden is een probleem dat bij jou ligt en dat je zelf moet oplossen, mogelijk in samenwerking met een communicatiedeskundige.

@Bertux Dankjewel voor je reactie! Je bent een serieuze wikipediaan. Kunnen we tot een fatsoenlijke nl.wiki komen?
  1. Voor mijn deblokkade zijn allerlei redenen aan te voeren (ik gaf er al een aan): mijn motivaties bij de ArbCom voor mijn twee zaken sinds 2020, probleemloos werken op alle wikimedia websites. Ook op nl.wiki heb ik geen problemen meer met de drie voornaamste betrokkenen destijds, langs andere weg geregeld. De blokkade op nl.wiki zelf geschiedde in juni 2021 zonder overleg bij verrassing na beleefde bewerking https://nl.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Overleg_gebruiker:Wikiklaas&diff=prev&oldid=59359089 , dus zonder aanleiding, geen verhogingsregel toegepast, dus samen meervoudig illegaal volgens Richtlijnen moderatoren.
  2. Ik wil best aannemen dat ik me vergis - waar dan? - maar ik bespreek dat juist graag: maar bespreking werd tot dusver nooit toegestaan, ook niet bij ArbCom. Dat is illegaal volgens Reglement ArbCom, ArbCom toetste niet aan Richtlijnen moderatoren.
  3. Een onduidelijk probleem met anderen kan ik niet in mijn eentje oplossen als ze niet willen overleggen - kon ik dat maar! Dat Edo de Roo Wikipedia verliet mede wegens mijn blokkade, kan erop wijzen dat ik niet geheel ongelijk heb. Tja, een probleem ligt altijd "bij anderen": zo wordt nooit iets opgelost, een onbedoeld totalitaire benadering door Bertux. Communicatiedeskundigen? Zijn we dat niet zelf, ik bijvoorbeeld ben zwaar getraind als leraar in twee vakken en humanistisch begeleider. Dat wil niet zeggen dat ik geen fouten maak.
  4. Als ik gestraft moest worden, dan is dat toch inmiddels rijkelijk gelukt? Iedereen tevreden?
  5. De schade bij voortdurende blokkade is onevenredig groot, nog een reden voor deblokkade.
  6. Dankjewel voor vermelding in de Kroeg. Maar waar staat het? Je link werkt niet (meer), kan het nog niet vinden.

Ik ben blij dat er beweging in komt, waarvoor dank.

  • Mag ik deze keer wel meepraten? Destijds niet op REGBLOK, was illegaal, overleg is bij blokkade ingeschreven Gebruiker verplicht volgens Richtlijnen moderatoren. Ik ben altijd bereid tot overleg, heb van alles toegegeven ("katholieke benadering") enzovoorts, zo goed?
  • Nog steeds graag je verzoek tot deblokkade op REGBLOK, zou objectief alleszins redelijk zijn.

ArbCom heeft mijn twee zaken nooit inhoudelijk willen bespreken, kwam met intimidaties, partijdige deelname betrokkenen bij zaken zelf, nieuwe onbewezen aanklachten, achteraf uit de lucht gegrepen gebruik "veiligheid", valse verhoortechnieken met drie tegen één, aanval op mijn Gebruikerspagina, dat kan toch allemaal niet? @Lotje : Beste Lotje, er is wél een nl.wikiversity geweest, tot in ieder geval 2013, toen nog als bestuurslid WMNL met een enthousiasteling over gepraat. @Hansmuller Anekdote: Eens hield Namba een praatje over Sterrekunde in oude Chinese kronieken of zoiets. Nu was er in de oude Chinese astrologie kennelijk een sterrenbeeld Pad (dier). Op een gegeven moment wijst Namba naar een schijnbaar willekeurig punt in een chaotische Chinese prent en zegt: 'Dat is de pad'. Waarop Aert opmerkte: 'Nou, daar moet je wel een padvinder voor zijn.' Hoi Hans het is wat laat maar als nog de beste wensen en m'n dank voor je jarenlange inzet hier. Nu zie ik net op m'n volglijst dat je de Category:Koninklijke Hollandsche Maatschappij der Wetenschappen hebt leeggehaald, en vraag me af wat je intentie hier is? Ja, scherp je hebt gelijk! Het moet omgekeerd. Trouwens, hoe gaat het met je? Goed hoop ik. Insgelijks verdien jij natuurlijk een reuzepluim voor jouw werk voor Wikimedia!
Apropos: Koninklijke Hollandsche Maatschappij der Wetenschappen is inderdaad sinds 2002 de nieuwe naam van de aloude Hollandsche Maatschappij der Wetenschappen.
Willen we toch onderscheid kunnen maken tussen de oude activiteiten en de nieuwe? Sommige afbeeldingen zijn al van de nieuwe KHMW, maar de meeste natuurlijk nog van de HMW.

Wat die ondercategorisering betreft... er is hier niet een nieuwe organisatie, maar een nieuwe benaming voor nog steeds dezelfde organisatie en rechtspersoon. In zo'n geval wens ik zelf een thematische indeling in de topcategorie, en kan de Hollandsche Maatschappij der Wetenschappen een "historische" categorie worden. In zo'n geval maak ik dan geen extra wikidata lemma aan, maar in het wikidata lemma zelf kunnen twee benamingen staan. Maar dat laatste is weer best lastig.
