Renomear arquivo

Olá. Poderias renomear o arquivo File:Rolante rural.jpg para Riozinho rural? Explico: Quando tirei a foto estava visitando a cidade de Rolante e meu GPS não conseguia identificar o lugar. Oi! Não deu certo (problemas com o banco de dados - provávelmente pela dimensão do arquivo = 7.998 × 2.261, 5,59 MB). Perdeu-se toda informação etc. Você poderia recarregar o arquivo sob outro título (que não seja File:Riozinho rural.jpg)? Ou - alternativamente - editar o arquivo File:Riozinho rural.jpg e inserir toda informação (descrição/licenciamento/categorias/etc.) necessária? Obrigado. O Commons está precisando de muitas fotos do Rio de Janeiro. Não tem problema, pode apagar todos os da lista. Pouca gente conhece o Commons, e não cadastra aqui para carregar as fotos. Não tem como me recorrer a ajuda de fotógrafos amadores. Só se cadastrando aqui. É que não estava fazendo um tempo bom para tirar fotos, e estava ansioso por fotos. Eduardo, continue o seu bom trabalho mas evite carregar material de outras páginas com licenciamento duvidoso e/ou restrito. E se estiver sem tempo para tirar fotos que tal dar uma olhada no Flickr. Esta busca por exemplo lista imagens relacionadas com "Laranjeiras Rio de Janeiro" que foram licenciados pelos autores com Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike, portanto compatível com o licenciamento aqui no Commons. Okay, há também alguns disparates nos resultados, mas mesmo assim vale uma visita. Dear Gunnex,

first of all... I am Italian, so sorry for my bad English :)

I saw that you are going to delete pratically all photos I have uploaded. Sorry, you are right about many of them. I was a novice and so I did not know many rules (about copyright, for example). But all photos about the actors "Ruggero Dondi" and "Salvatore Landolina" I think they do not violate copyright. I have, infact, the original photos and I did the scans (I know personally the actors and I have their consent). Of course, I cannot demonstrate you this, but I please you to trust in me. Hi Gunnex! Thank you so much for your concer with possible copyright violation and thank you even more for your attention to the author's name. You're 100% right. I'm Oona Castro, the photographer of those pictures, and I decided to authorize comercial use too, which I can do, whenever - I just can not remove it now. Since I first published NC and then removed it, I don't see any problem. Should I add a note in the Overmundo website saying I do allow commercial use? This is also collaborative and I myself had published there (I was formerly the executive director for Instituto Overmundo - an equivalent relation Instituto Overmundo - Overmundo Website / Wikimedia Foundation - Wikipedia, Commons etc). O negócio é evitar fotografias de obras que possam ser protegidas por direitos autoriais e/ou que não se encontram em domínio público. Ou melhor: Evitar fotografias que tem como motivo central uma obra eventualmente protegida (exemplo). Porque há tolerâncias: Ver por exemplo File:Museu Valencia de la Il·lustració i la Modernitat, interior.JPG, fotografia tirada num museu espanhol. Common Benjamin Trinks

Dear Gunnex,

I kindly ask you not to delete the pictures I uploaded from Benjamin Trinks because I´ve shot the pictures in-person. I am a still photographer for the second German television channel, known as ZDF. Benjamin Trinks asked me during the shootings of "Terra X" und "UMUV" to shoot some personal pictures from him at the shooting place and asked me to upload them here that they can be relinked. The historic pictures have been shot in August 2012 in Berlin, at "Rundfunkhaus Nalepastraße" at the German river "Spree". The picture of UMUV has been shot in Litua in 2012. So please do not delete these pictures.

I'm needing help about adding copyright tags

hello gunnex. first of all forgive my ill english. couple of days ago I did upload bunch of photoes at the same time and i didn't know about adding copyright information, I agree with my mistake. now i've just uploade an images of a physical music album which I've purchased one copy and it seems I can't add proper information and tags to it. I need help about Uploading cover albums. but if it's generally illegal to upload album cover tell me about it and please do know that there is no mean to copyright violations by me. Teresa Sousa

Boa noite Gunnex,

Enviei, para "permissions-commons@wikimedia.org", no passado dia 22 de Janeiro os "copyright permissions" relativos às imagens das obras da minha mãe Teresa Sousa, que o Gunnex marcou para eliminação e foram elimoinadas do Commons.

Decorridos 2 meses, ainda não recebi qualque resposta. Uma vez que foi o Gunnex a desencadear o porcesso de retiradas das imagens, agradeço que agora desencadeie a respectiva reposição, uma vez que considero já ter decorrido suficiente tempo para o Wikimedia Commons dar uma resposta.

Refiro ainda que as imagens são de obras inéditas da minha mãe, Teresa Sousa, falecida há 50 anos. Não estão em mais lado nenhum. Apenas na internet se encontram reproduções na página do Centro de Arte Moderna da Fundação Calouse Gulbenkian (http://www.cam.gulbenkian.pt/index.php?article=66999&visual=2&langId=1&ngs=1&queryParams=,autor%7CSousa%20Teresa&queryPage=0&position=1), e num blog (http://blogdaruanove.blogs.sapo.pt/414688.html). Veja, por favor, ver a entrada "Teresa Sousa" na Wikipedia. Uma página de uma artista plástica, sem imagens das suas obras, de nada serve.

Eu carreguei esta imagem e depois fiquei em dúvida se isso é VDA. Como não entendo nada do assunto (principalmente na Espanha), você pode ajudar? É uma foto de um mapa em lugar público aberto à visitação e sem restrição para tomada de fotografias (Cathedral of Seville - no corredor entre o número 82 e 86 na foto, logo depois da entrada, que é no 79).

Hi! In critical cases, I usually (additionally to the automatic {{No permission since}}/{{No license since}}-tag edit and user notification) leave a message in the related file (regulary highlighted with {{Info}} to call attention for the uploader and the checking admin), what problem I encountered. This additional info (as a secondary edit) is also visible in the file history (sometimes only "+info", sometimes with full text of info). As an alternative I usually notify the uploader in some critical cases directly (recent examples I/II). Well, I said "usually" :-), maybe I failed here in this case. Script

Com quem eu posso falar para criar um script? Quando carrego fotos coloco sempre na categoria mais próxima possível e então tenho de criar todas as outras categorias dependentes. Olá! Conheço seu esforço nas categorias relacionadas com (entre outros) Rio Grande do Sul, mas hoje não vejo nenhuma possibilidade de automatizar isto com um "script". Ou melhor: Commons:Bots/Work requests / Commons:Bots pode ser uma solução (se um dos donos dos bots estiver disponível para colaborar) mas 1. o bot necessita de muita informação para funcionar, 2. não conheço a opinião do Commons, criando centenas de categorias vazias e 3. a árvore de categorias planejada deve ser discutida antes para refletir sobre aspectos de padronização etc. Outra solução (provisória) seria categorizar o ficheiro com a categoria mais próxima possível (mas sem criar) e com uma categoria relacionada já existente (deixando a criação da categoria em vermelho para um outro usuário). Carreguei esta imagem para explicar melhor File:CatholicChurches Diag.jpg. A ferramenta que proponho seria bem especifica, neste caso ela criaria todas as categorias relacionadas com a categoria Catholic churche em um determinado município. Não existe a questão de categorias vazias pois elas existem para conter outras categorias. Funcionaria da seguinte forma: seriam informados o municipio, o estado e o país e a ferramenta criaria a árvore de categorias automaticamente. Sempre partindo da categoria mais inferior para a mais superior. é similar a ferramenta de upload em alguns aspectos. Claro que esta ferramenta deve ser de uso restrito a usuários interessados em categorias. Quanto a deixar em vermelho para outro criar, não consigo fazer uma coisa pela metade. mais ou menos = mal feito. Em relação à {{Duplicate}} (que conheço) só agora percebi que Category:Duplicate é uma sub-categoria de Category:Candidates for speedy deletion, portanto tem toda razão. Pensava que Category:Duplicate seria uma categoria de manutenção e que os ficheiros assim marcados precisariam mais um edit de um outro usuário para cair na speedy. Então, obrigado pela dica. Você deve usar o licenciamento idêntico que foi escolhido pelo autor. A ferramenta File info ajuda no processo de upload de ficheiros do Picasa e/ou Panoramio e configura todas as informações (incl. descrição, licença, e o tag "review"). No exemplo: [4]. Hallo Gunnex, Du hast bei meiner Anfrage Rechte auf Medien einen Haken gesetzt und dazugeschrieben, die Sache wäre erledigt, aber auf Englisch... Das letzte Statement davor war, wir hätten ein Problem und man müsse mit abrasil Kontakt aufnehmen. Was ist denn nun herausgekommen? Ich bin da leider immer noch im Ungewissen.   1. Pede para autora mandar a permissão via e-mail para você. De preferência a autora devia usar um e-mail que leva o nome da autora. Exemplo: maria.luísa@gmail.com = OK; fofinha1977_kkkk@gmail.com =  Not OK
  2. Verifique que a licença autorizada pela autora é adequada ao Commons. Ela devia usar - para evitar problemas - um dos modelos de e-mail disponíveis aqui.
  3. Em caso afirmativo, carregue a imagem na Wikimedia Commons com o título Lago Jacob.jpg e adicione-lhe a predefinição {{subst:OP}} = um aviso para alertar que um e-mail foi enviado para a equipe OTRS.
  4. Envie a permissão da autora para permissions-commons-pt@wikimedia.org, incluindo todo o cabeçalho e correspondência que tenha trocado com a autora e (importante!) o link para a imagem = http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Lago_Jacob.jpg.
  5. Coloque a imagem na sua lista de páginas vigiadas: a equipe OTRS verificará a permissão e dará um aviso na imagem se a permissão foi aceita ou não. Isto pode demorar algumas semanas.

no license tags

Hi, I noticed that you sometimes tagging images as "no license" when there is actualy a license tag. Its better to tag those with "no permission" or raise a regular deletion request, cause there is a license and its just confusing the uploaders not knowing what wrong or what to do. Hi! Well, actually {{No license since}} says "This media file does not have sufficient information on its copyright status." and the German version of this template says why = "Zu diesem Bild fehlen ausreichende und korrekte Angaben über die Quelle, den/die Urheber und/oder die Lizenz, unter der das Bild veröffentlicht wurde.". And the user advise via {{Image license}} appoints to these problems: "(...) If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (...) has a license that is acceptable (...) must add an appropriate license tag (...) [if] license information is not available on the web you must obtain permission through the OTRS".
And that fits for the most files I tagged with {{No license since}}. See this example: File:Logo JPG..gif, uploaded by David733.
  1. author configured as David733 = wrong. Author is somebody from Hayel Saeed Anam Group
  2. license configured with "{{self|cc-by-sa-3.0}} = wrong
  3. sourced with "own work" = wrong as it was grabbed from somewhere http://www.hsagroup.com.
  4. = {{No license since}} well..., tagged now with {{No permission since}}
In other words: If David733 were an expert at Commons, he could configure the file with author = Hayel Saeed Anam Group, source = http://www.hsagroup.com and license = {{PD-textlogo}}{{Trademarked}} --> without even needing a "permission". That´s the background for most my {{No license since}}-tags. Ok... I admit that on some occasions I slip the mouse too fast to the QuickDelete-menu clicking on the wrong tag :-) but on the other hand I admit that in a few cases I have my dificulties to select the appropriate tag... but did you understand my point? How would you tag this file? {{No source since}}? Hmm... author and source are given (even invented), {{No permission since}}? In fact, not needed and requiring a permission for an "own work" seems to be redundant and would confuse the uploader. {{Copyvio}}? Too hard, give the uploader a chance. DR? For a most likely PD-text-logo... no. As you see by my reaction you are revealing a little drama that occurs to me in those cases :-))) An orientation, based on File:Logo JPG..gif, would be appreciated. Hi, ich sehe grad, Du sprichst deutsch. Ich weiss es ist nicht immer leicht die jeweils richtige Aktion auszuwählen. Irgendwie passt manchmal alles ein wenig aber auch nicht richtig. Wie gesagt finde ich es verwirrend wenn bei einem Bild mit Lizenz-Vorlage steht es fehle eine Lizenz. Dann eher "no permision" oder ein normaler Löschantrag. Und wenn Du der Meinung bist in Bild wäre {{PD-textlogo}} und auch eine passende Quelle gefunden hast kannst Du auch die Bildbeschreibungsseite korregieren. Hi, you can check on my talk what images I'm talking about. I am the autor of them, I took and edited that images, first I uploaded them on my Flickr own page. I don't undestand why you think they had to be delated. Maybe I think the reason was just because I published them as "Public Domain". In my images I prefer Public Domain License. Do you mean the coats of arms (seals)? The files are okay, as they are now configured with {{PD-Coa-Mexico}} (even considering Commons:Deletion requests/Template:PD-Coa-Mexico, which revealed some aspects still to verify).
"I am the autor of them, I took and edited that images". File:Seal of El Fuerte.png too? Because this coat of arms was previously published via http://hazloporsinaloa.org/portal/index.php/conoce-nuestros-municipios (Copyright (c) 2012 AmorPorSinaloa.mx ) = http://hazloporsinaloa.org/portal/images/escudos/escudo_elfuerte_ok.jpg (last modified: 2012). Anyway, that´s not so important. The license {{PD-Coa-Mexico}} covers the Public Domain.
Regarding your collages, please read again Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by Lomesi. You mounted the collages with photos stolen from other authors without their permission(s). For each (free licensed) photo of a collage an internal source/author/license is needed. Please take a look at File:Collage Rome.jpg as an example how to do it. Tidying up after yourself

Hello Gunnex
Although your work patrolling copyvio images and deleting is highly commendable, I am rather fed up of tidying up Wikipedia articles (Ibiza beach articles in particular) which are left with red ink to former image links. "this file is missing evidence of permission" tags on my photos.

Dear Gunnex,

I think that all those photos should be free to use on a Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 3.0 (legal code) basis. When I first began putting this pages up, there was nothing other than the fact that I was working for LTI on this, but after digging around on the site I thought I discovered that a link to the site with the photos and the licensing information should prove that graphics were properly licensed. The webmaster at LTI placed such a graphic at the bottom of each page on the website, including the pages with photos, hoping to make this clear.

To make what this looks like on our server, I took some screenshots.

When I get the photos I get them here, from a database:

From my reading of the rules of proof, this seems sufficient. Is there something I am missing?

Hi Charles. The source http://klti.or.kr/ke_04_03_011.do (CC BY-NC-SA 3.0/Copyright ©2011 Literature Translation Institute of Korea. All Rights Reserved) and File:ShareAlike30.jpg/File:Genericshotofphotos.jpg indicates to a Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 3.0 which does not allow commercial use. In Wikimedia Commons the license must meet the following conditions (my underline):
  • Republication and distribution must be allowed. OK
  • Publication of derivative work must be allowed. OK
  • Commercial use of the work must be allowed.  Not OK
  • The license must be perpetual (non-expiring) and non-revocable. OK
Resuming: CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 ("NC" stands for NonCommercial) is not compatible with Commons´s license policy and we need permission from Literature Translation Institute of Korea and/or the respective copyright owner/photographer (as I doubt that Literature Translation Institute of Korea took all these picture). So. let me see if I understand the two problems here...

1) The CC 3.0 CC attribution is not enough to use these photos even if LTI took them (even though is seems OK when I uploaded the pictures)? 2) You are concerned that the copyright resides with the photographer and not LTI Korea?

Are ALL licenses on this page: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/ appropriate for solving the first problem?

LOL.. LTI is working with me fast.. we hope, to clear this up...

The license now allows commercial use (I think it is appropriate) as you can see here: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ (that's the page with the full license - each page now has the graphic, and the old "copyright" messages have been removed.

I think (pray?^^) that takes care of the first problem you identified.. Secondly, LTI says (in an email)

Hi Ccmontgom!! As I could verify all entries from the author database available under http://klti.or.kr/ke_04_03_011.do are now configured with CC BY-SA 3.0 which is OK for Commons. But there are still some problems.
  1. You said: "All pictures are belong to LTI Korea and anyone can use the works under the CCL". Please check the entry for "Choi Seung-ho" and open the tab "Translations". There you see book covers, e.g. http://klti.or.kr/upload//mi//201112//9ca03dba-6962-47ab-a237-c9a519156cdf. This is a copyrighted book cover from German publisher "Wallstein" which itself is based on the copyrighted stock image available under http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-photo-6837043-young-carrion-crow-corvus-corone.php. This is  Not OK as this is obviously not a work of LTI Korea and it is highly unlikely that publisher "Wallstein" and "GlobalP" from istockphoto.com would permit such licensing.
  2. I also still have some doubts about the rest of photos. For me it seems so that all the photos of authors were donated to LTI Korea under unclear conditions for use in their database. Or were they really taken by LTI Korea personell? The question is: How LTI Korea obtained all this photos? Did all the related copyright owner agreed that their photos would be licensed under a free license? Owning photos does not include the right to publish these photos under a free license without permission from the respective copyright owners...
    1. Example: File:KimYongman.jpg --> taken from entry "Kim Yong-man" in the author database = http://klti.or.kr/upload//mi//201308//597a1d19-3d0a-4252-bc29-12acfc70a8eb.   4. Advice for LTI Korea: Licensing their author database with CC BY-SA 3.0 means that all content (text and images) are freely available for everyone to copy, distribute and transmit, to adapt and to make commercial use of the work.
You should do the following: Please forward all email-traffic with LTI Korea (including the email-headers) to the email permissions-commons@wikimedia.org. This is the email for Commons:OTRS. OTRS stands for Open-source Ticket Request System. Emails sent to OTRS are handled by a multilingual team of trusted volunteers which is reviewing permissions and analyzing copyright related stuff. Try to explain the situation (using English would speed up the process), cite your user name in Commons and indicate to some of your uploads which are "in trouble" using a direct link (e.g.: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:KimYongman.jpg) . Please indicate also to this discussion here using the link https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Gunnex#.22this_file_is_missing_evidence_of_permission.22_tags_on_my_photos. to give the OTRS-team a further orientation. By the way, pease be patient, as the OTRS-team is overwhelmed daily by several request, has always a backlog and processing your request may take some days or weeks. Hope that helps as orientation for your next steps....
