Request for map

Hello again, I have another request if you have any time. I was wondering if you could take this map and make use it to make a map of this stream's watershed similar to this this Commons map. You can contact me at my Wikipedia user page if you are interested in this project. Thanks again for all the work you've done, it truly has been appreciated.Camelbinky (talk) 13:49, 19 June 2010 (UTC)

 Doing… ZooFari 21:22, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
(answer to your question on my Wikipedia talk page)Oh, yea, I forgot that it had little icons representing something about where they did environmental tests, those you can leave out. I was just thinking about that you could keep the streams, the names of the lakes and streams, thats pretty much all I need. Sorry I should have looked at the map again.Camelbinky (talk) 15:04, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
(Answer to question on my Wikipedia page) The unnamed tributary does not need to be labeled as such but would be nice to have it drawn, Sand Creek should be the other tributary and probably should be labeled if you can. As for the Loudonville Reservoir you can leave that out unless you think it makes the map look nicer with it. As for the underground I probably got the page wrong, which ever map you saw that does actually show the underground section if it is possible for you to read it well enough to add that, I realize the maps are not the greatest quality and size. Best you can do, you always surpass expectations.Camelbinky (talk) 15:04, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
(response from WP) Seems I was thinking of a map from somewhere else... that map shows the hiking paths, and what I would need is a map of the creek underground, as I dont need any of the path information just the creek. Hmmm, I think the map will be fine just showing the creek without showing that it goes underground, it is covered in the prose and I dont think the map would suffer.68.189.197.148 01:59, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
Thank you for the map, you were right to put the Loudonville Reservoir in. I will keep looking for that map with the underground portions, and maybe when I have that to add we could find a map that has municipal borders that could be added to further make the map less empty.148.78.249.33 15:45, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

Just discovered...

When you did File:Map of USA with state names 2.svg, it looks like you missed the label for Washington, D.C., which is still rendering as text. Can you fix that, please? Thanks! upstateNYer 23:58, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

Hmm, the text is path. The modifiable text version was left in smaller font too, maybe because it's Washington D.C. I can change it like the rest if you'd like. ZooFari 00:16, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
My mistake; can you just make the font the same size as the rest, then? Thanks. upstateNYer 03:17, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
✓ Done also removed the border, let me know if you want it back. ZooFari 04:40, 27 June 2010 (UTC)

What would be the coordinates if I wanted to make Washington DC linkable? The 955 one Thanks

Hello, ZooFari/Archive!
Tip: Add categories to your files
Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.

File:Ke$ha performing live in Echo.JPG

Hi, I noticed you kept that picture because it was in use in one Wikipedia article. However, I would like to point out that the only reason its still in use is because some users feel that having a picture there is better than having none even though it does not add anything to the article. Besides the picture is of such deplorable quality that it is hard to even discern who the subject is, it has also been humorously "profiled" when it was used as in the infobox(!). It may be large in dimension, but the quality is simply too bad and even scaling it down would not do anything to help it. I would very much like for you to reconsider the verdict :) Perhaps I could remove them from their articles used?

Sincerely, 155.69.193.244 02:06, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

No, don't remove it. If the users find it better than none, then it's okay to keep it here regardless of the quality. ;) ZooFari 03:55, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for interest, have a look at this too, please. P.S. Can you please check OTRS, whether you have received a mail from artpalace.ge? --Gaeser (talk) 18:21, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

A quick search and glance at the most recent tickets show no sign. Anything in particular that I should search for to narrow the results? ZooFari 18:34, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
I was in the museum and asked them to send a permission (We have it for this category), but have forgotten to ask them to send OTRS permission. They seem to have forgotten to send the permission again, I'll ask them once again :)--Gaeser (talk) 18:38, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

RE:Copenhague

Hi, really I tagged this photo because I suspect that the photo source is a webpage and possibly the photo hasn't free license because an user identified as an organization uploaded the photos of his activities. This is the real reason. Thanks. --Taichi (talk) 18:23, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

The no source tag is for files with no source whatsoever. Doubts go to DR. ZooFari 18:34, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

What do you mean that "source is present"?! do believe template Own is used correctly? looking at different images by user, also different sizes and cameras, I'm sure that these images are taken from somewhere else. IMO opening a DR in this situation is not necessary.   ■ MMXX  talk  19:46, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

I thought the tag served its purpose and not there for admins to investigate. It misleads the uploader and everyone else who reads the page. I thought doubts went to DR. I can see why some people get bored attempting to clear the no source backlog. I'm sure filing a DR for all the user's contributions would have gotten the image deleted sooner, but I guess we prefer not to press extra buttons? You've been an admin longer, maybe I could use some advice. I don't know, but I'm losing interest in this department. I'll revert and let other admins willing to delete them. ZooFari 20:09, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
Well, maybe I'm a little lazy for opening a DR but problem is Own tag will be added automatically if a user choose "It is entirely my own work" from upload form, and that link is the first an easiest thing that user will find in first page of upload form... that's why it doesn't mean anything! I also believe we should open a DR if there was any doubts or if contents were important. anyway, maybe we should rephrase Nsd template to make it more clear...   ■ MMXX  talk  19:48, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

RE:Flickr reviewer

Ok, no problem and thanks for putting my request in the right place! Truu (talk) 02:16, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

FYI

I'd like to thank you for reverting post by IP here. I've exchanged few emails with user:alvesgaspar, and he confirmed that IP was him, who forgot log in. IMO it is perfectly alright to revert post by anonymous IP in such situation, but I believe that the post by the commons user should be kept. So I added it back together with my response only for the record. Regards.--Mbz1 (talk) 14:55, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

It seems someone deleted photos that were still in discussion. The account holder LGEPR is very reliable and this is another example of their work used on Commons Rosario Dawson. Could you restore them?

If the the Rosario Dawon pic can stay I don't see why these can't. Can you look into it? Originals are below. Thanks.

User group image-reviewer

As soon as everyone is part of the usergroup, maybe you could add smt. like this to your script:

if (wgUserGroups!=sysop && wgUserGroups!=image-reviewer) alert ('You do not have the necessary permission to review this file'); return;

Cheers DieBuche (talk) 17:07, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

Glad to hear there is a usergroup now. I'll add an alert on the next update, when hopefully everyone is flagged by then. Cheers, ZooFari 18:16, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Sorry, I should have actually checked what kind of object wgUserGroups was before writing that down; since it's an array we need to check it like this: if(wgUserGroups.indexOf('sysop') == -1). I also moved the code inside the functions, we can't return from a function unless we're inside one. Btw: for function add_toolbox_button you can simply use addPortletLink("p-tb", _href, text, ""); instead of manipulating the DOM manually--DieBuche (talk) 15:03, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
Ok, so it's fixed now, right? I'm not home yet so I don't have much time to test and play around with it. Having you around in the meantime is appreciated :-) ZooFari 23:33, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

About Graphic Lab

Hi ZooFari, it's been long time since the last time we talk. I know that you're out of town until August, so in the late August I want to ask your help to archive the resolved request in Illustration workshop and Photography workshop, while in Map workshop, Video and sound workshop is the workshop area that have no many resolved request, so it's just fine for the two. I'm asking you this because you're just like an administrator for the Graphic Lab, so I think I can count on you. Cheers! And have a nice trip. Ivan Akira (talk) 01:35, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

"I apologize if I made you upset": upset, no, just surprised by such a modification after the protection; usually, on WP:fr and as an admin there, I would only modify a protected page if there is a blatant mistake or a consensus, hence my question. In any case, thanks for the answer. Sardur (talk) 05:21, 4 August 2010 (UTC)

Need a few images fixed

Could you please fix the following color issues in File:Flag of Albany, New York.svg, File:Albany seal.svg, and File:Albany coat of arms.svg:

 • The background of the upper half of the shield is currently dark blue; it should be silver as shown on the left side of this shield.
 • The scroll with the word "Assiduity" should not be light blue; it should be the same color silver as the bullet above.
 • The orange and blue torse below the boat should be red and silver (the same colors of the shield backgrounds); the oranges should be silver and the blues red. Leave the shading and highlights, though. They look good.

If you have any questions let me know. Each of those images has the coat of arms in it (which you just recently made). The original uploader got some of the colors wrong. Thanks! upstateNYer 21:56, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

✓ Done. Let me know if that works. ZooFari 22:47, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

That's the only one I could do now. File:Kharkiv Oblast Organization of Scouts.png is too small to vectorize from and I would need the font for File:National Organization of Scouts of Ukraine.png. I have brought them to Commons now, however. ZooFari 21:10, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
Ah shit, I should have reversed the order, I meant vectorize first, then bring it to Commons. Sorry for not being clear. Once it's here, lesser versions are damn-dear undeletable.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 02:21, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

SVG request (Colonie seal)

Could you vectorize File:Seal of town of Colonie.jpg? Thanks! upstateNYer 22:01, 14 August 2010 (UTC)

Sure, would you happen to know what font? Or should I use one that's close to it? ZooFari 18:53, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
I made an effort to figure it out, but I just don't know. You wouldn't be able to make them vector shapes, would you? I know it makes file size bigger, but when it comes to SVG, file sizes are always small compared to jpeg and png anyway. upstateNYer 21:19, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
Well since it is of high res, maybe I could auto-trace the text and get a decent result. ZooFari 21:24, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

Drawing a line

Howdy. I figured I'd bring the discussion here. I don't want to clog up the discussion here since my opinion on that initial subject is known.

I disagree that there shouldn't be a line. If he gets the bit back, does something unwise, and it gets removed again, do we just keep the cycle going on indefinitely? I don't think it is assuming bad faith. I think it more along the lines of observing his actions, and reacting. It's is like allowing a repeat drunk driver to keep his driver's license. Granted, drunk driving is more serious, and this is only a bit on a website, but I think the analogy is sufficient.--Rockfang (talk) 23:00, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

What cycle? Here is his user rights log showing only the revoked actions:
 • (show/hide) 18:41, 25 May 2010 Abigor (talk | contribs | block) changed group membership for User:Diego Grez from Patrollers and Rollbackers to Patrollers ‎ (User doesn't work with the policy, revoked the rollback right)
 • (show/hide) 20:18, 12 May 2010 Abigor (talk | contribs | block) changed group membership for User:Diego Grez from Patrollers and Rollbackers to Patrollers ‎ (wrong user sorry)
 • (show/hide) 16:02, 9 May 2010 Herbythyme (talk | contribs | block) changed group membership for User:Diego Grez from Patrollers and Rollbackers to (none) ‎ (I think not, cross wiki concerns)
On the first revoke, everyone knows it is rude to remove rights after granting them, and I don't like the "cross-wiki concerns" plan. The second was a screw up and the third was the only almost-legitimate one in which I explained my objections on the board. So you see, there's no cycle that can be predicted "indefinite". It's just cross-wiki concerns that make it seem eternal but I like to focus on his Commons actions only. ZooFari 23:47, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
I didn't mean to imply there is a cycle yet, but he's had the rights, and he's had them removed. Like I said above, if he gets the bit back and misuses rollback again (which is possible given his past history), are we just gonna deny him rollback rights and tell him it is okay to wait 3 months and give him the rights again?--Rockfang (talk) 00:44, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
There are no limits as far as I'm aware, and it may be a bit early to start asking that question. Like I said, I would be willing to monitor his edits and offer my help. If he misuses rollback by accident I would of course help him out. If he abuses it then I'll remove his rights with sorrow and I can reconsider your comments above ;-). ZooFari 01:06, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

Hello, I have uploaded this logo several times but every time my rationale is insufficient and it is deleted. I was using File:NrlcBanner.jpg as an example. It's ridiculously hard to upload anything here, especially when it gets deleted without notification. Please advise, thanks, God bless. BS24 (talk) 21:57, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

Hello BS24. Wikimedia Commons allows only images that are under a free license such as Creative Commons, GFDL, or Public Domain. It does not allow fair use non-free logos. Wikipedia, however, allows fair use and you can upload the picture there instead. Here's the description you used, which you can simply copy and use it for the file page at Wikipedia when you upload the logo over there:

guerre froide

Bonjour.

Another request

If you have time I have another request for a map. A map of the Patroon Creek, for an article I just wrote. Page 12 of this is a good map to work off, would just need the Patroon Creek route, the Sand Creek route (and labeled), any other tributaries, the Hudson River and the Six-Mile Reservoir; would not need anything else from this map. If it is possible to take the information from the map on page 24 that shows where the Patroon Creek is underground and put that in the map as well that would make it even better. If you have time to do this then let me know if you have any questions. Hope everything is going good with you as well.Camelbinky (talk) 15:13, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

Help

Hi, a while ago you did a request for me of the Air force ensignof the Dominican Republic. The margins were set in such a way that part of the flag was "chopped off", and you fixed it. Could you give me instructions on how I could adjust margins in inkscape, as I'd like to be able to do it myself for my files, which at the moment I'm stuck to re-sizing the file itself to fit. Being able to alter the margins to fit the file instead would be muct better, and I'd appreciate if you could tell me how to do it. Fry1989 (talk) 01:27, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Sure. To automatically remove the margins and fit the image to the page, select all the components and go to File -> Document Properties.... Then click "Fit to page selection". To add margins, you will need to learn a trick. Create a rectangle around the graphic pretending it is the page document. Use the align tool (Object -> Align and Distribute) and align the graphic to the center of the rectangle. Then do the same thing I described in the first sentences, and after you're done remove the rectangle. Based on your image work I assume you have understanding of what I just said, but if you need further explanation let me know :). ZooFari 01:42, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
Ah, thanks so much. I really appreciate it :D Fry1989 (talk) 01:53, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
No problem! Let me know if you need anything else. ZooFari 01:54, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
There is actually one other thing with Inkscape I'd like to know. As you can see in this map, some of the States are diagonally divided into two different colours. There's a map I want to make, and it requires this as well for some of it's sections. Could you tell me how with a blank map, I could take a section, and make it diagonally divided as so, and select the two colours I wish for the stripes as well? Fry1989 (talk) 05:34, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
These are basically patterns you can create. To set a pattern click the checkered button next to the gradient and solid button in the color panel. There are preset of patterns available but only one is black stripes and you can't change the color. So you will need to create a pattern. To do this, create two long vertical bars aside from the graphic and align them next to each other with the align tool. You can choose whatever colors of course. Make them longer than the states you will fill in for best results. Then Object -> Pattern -> Object to pattern. Then use the node tool to rotate, scale, or move the stripes. There are three icons in the corner of the selection: an X, a square, and a circle. Use the circle to rotate the stripes to a diagonal position. Use the X to move and shift, and use the square to scale the stripes. Your pattern is ready and you can apply it to the states (in the pattern color panel it will probably be named something like pattern3710. If there are visible seams or white lines in the pattern, go to the XML editor (Edit -> XML Editor...) and locate <svg:pattern id="pattern3710">. Then increase the width just a little bit. After your pattern is done you can delete the raft you created aside or change the colors of the bars to create another pattern (make sure you Object -> Pattern -> Object to Pattern again). I may sound confusing so let me know if you have any questions. ZooFari 22:47, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

I know you deleted it, can you please userfy me a copy? I tried to ask for this at undeletion, they said they don't do that sort of thing.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 06:58, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

Image licence issue

G'day ZooFari,

Just after some advice on the following images:

Both are from the photography department of Australia Zoo, the bottom one is actually taken through the "Pat a Koala" encounter and is made available to purchase for guests however the copyright still remains with Australia Zoo Pty Ltd (the image has been cropped to remove the zoo logo). As a general rule Australia Zoo does not release copyright on images that it takes. Could you provide me with some advice as to what action is required (if any). Regards ZooPro 09:44, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi ZooPro. Do you mean the photographs in general or the background image? If the background image, you can crop Steve out in File:Guy Sebastian visits Australia Zoo to perform LIVE 'n' WILD Concert.jpg. The rest of the background image would fall under de minimis. The background for File:Me20048a.jpg would also be de minimis and nothing much you can do. If the photographs themselves are copyrighted by the zoo, then you will need to bring up the issue in a Deletion request. ZooFari 22:53, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
After some discussion with the senior management team, it was decided that we would allow the two images to remain on commons as they are doing little harm to anyone, it was decided that if in future other images were being uploaded that the position of "let sleeping dogs be" would be re-considered. Both images have been found to actually be the property of Australia Zoo as they were taken by the photography dept and guests have purchased copies (only copies of the images not the rights to the image) and then uploaded them. I think sometimes organisations do go over board with rights and property however in this case common sense has prevailed and it was determined to be far to much "effort" to have them removed considering they have caused no harm in any sense. Thanks anyway ZooPro 09:20, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

Pieter

Good luck to you. Don't expect anything to have changed though. -mattbuck (Talk) 10:16, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

Thank you...

... for unblocking me. Could you also undelete my user page? (You can remove the gallery, if that causes so much offense.) /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 12:26, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

You're welcome. Looks like it has been taken care of. Cheers, ZooFari 13:57, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

SVG fix request

Can you fix File:Albany Fire Flag.svg so it looks like File:Albany Fire Flag.png, please? Thanks! upstateNYer 20:36, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

How's that? ZooFari 20:46, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
Good! Could you add the AlbanyNY to the top of the file information on File:Old Albany City Hall.png? It's currently protected because it's on the Wikipedia Main Page. Thanks! upstateNYer 06:10, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
✓ Done. ZooFari 15:42, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

Could you use your magic to make File:Albany, New York Map.svg look like File:Albany, New York Map.png? upstateNYer 02:15, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Sure. Do you know where the highway symbols are located? I know that a while ago you directed me to an article page at the pedia for a different request, but I don't remember which. ZooFari 23:07, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
Here you go: upstateNYer 04:43, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
✓ Done. Let me know if that works. ZooFari 01:58, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
Ahhh, much better. upstateNYer 15:48, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Removal of images

Images with appropriate copyright information -as far as I can tell - have been removed from two articles. Beggars badges and Bede House Old Aberdeen Please explain what permission are required. Simple help would save your time and mine - Please Ray_Oaks

They didn't have license (such as or PD-self). If you have permission by email, forward it to OTRS. The permission must specify the license the author/copyright holder wants to license it under, of course. ZooFari 15:40, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

you forgot the "Protests" that I wanted to replace the "Demonstration" [1] --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 23:33, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Schenectady County

Upstatenyer asked me to stop by and give you a base map for Schenectady County's towns, villages, and city that I guess you two are working on. [[This should help. Within Schenectady County the two names that are italicized (Delanson and Scotia) are villages, and are an integral part of the surrounding town (Duanesburgh for Delanson, and Glenville for Scotia) I guess you have been using some sort of dashed or lighter line to set incorporated villages apart so whatever you have been doing is good. Other than that I think the map shows everything you need. If you have any questions feel free to stop by Wikipedia and ask.Camelbinky (talk) 23:04, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

If you eliminate the yellow, pink, purple, and light green boundaries (which are CDP's) then the map will be correct. You want to leave the dark green and red municipalities.Camelbinky (talk) 23:04, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi, looks like you forgot to press one button... –Tryphon 05:14, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

Ah, thanks. ZooFari 13:59, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

Category:Country identificators

Can you help me with this move?--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 03:39, 17 September 2010 (UTC)

Added to delinker and now ✓ Done. ZooFari 03:55, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
Thank you so much! Next weird question! A great new graphicist has taken on my request at the Graphics Lab, and created Category:Scout kit. Right idea, wrong name, including all attendant graphics names. Is there any bot mojo that can change "kit" to "uniform" automatically?--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 15:20, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, but this would need to be resolved first. ZooFari 01:11, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
I think we found resolution.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 14:37, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

Simple SVG request

Can you upload a new version of File:Largest ancestry of each New York county (en).svg using the color scheme of File:Map of USA with state names.svg (since you need 7 colors total, you need three more colors, so use the blue from the water in the US map as one, make up a muted light orange, and use a muted light grey as the third). You can choose which color stands for what, I don't care. But I don't want the label on the map. I'll need the Hex code for each color. Thanks! upstateNYer 02:10, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

Done:
 • French (brown) - #ffd0d0 now pink
 • German (green) - #ffffd0 now yellow
 • Irish (purple) - #f2d0ff still purple
 • English (orange) - #d7ffd0 now green
 • Italian (blue) - #9ec7f3 still blue
 • African-American (red) - #cccccc now grey
 • Dominican (yellow) - #ffbc66 now orange

BTW maps are done. ZooFari 04:33, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

Please, you would restore this file. I will appreciate you it very much! I will add the licence. Happy day --Halvis (talk) 20:29, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

✓ Done. If the image is truly yours, please add the license and remove the No license since tag. Thanks, ZooFari 14:08, 24 September 2010 (UTC)

Does Commons have a "speedy keep"?

Commons:Deletion requests/File:346334h355h335h.jpg--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 09:43, 26 September 2010 (UTC)

Yes, for obvious cases that show no controversy. Unfortunately that DR is otherwise. ZooFari 15:02, 26 September 2010 (UTC)

Deletion of EK Imbichibava

Why do delete the images ?. I have the license for the image and you are deleting by saying I don't have the license ? Can you please restore the EK_Imbichi_Bava.jpg and Leaders.jpg . Wikipedia such an informative resource, I have no idea why wikipedia is appointing people who would delete informative images saying no license. Or if it done automatically, please fix this issue. It will be of great help if you guys could restore the image. I have full license for the images. Thanks.

You did not specify the license for the files (which is required, and is not the same as saying that you are the copyright holder). But now you re-uploaded them, this time with the license, so it's good now. ZooFari 16:53, 26 September 2010 (UTC)

Thanks a lot.

PNG to vector

Can you make an SVG version of this file, but without the labels in the file? List the hex colors for me, too. Thanks, sir. upstateNYer 01:21, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

Done: File:New York State Department Economic Development Regions.svg
 • Green: #ccfbcc
 • Pink: #fccbcc
 • Blue: #c8cafa
 • Yellow: #ffffd0

If you wanted me to remove the numbers as well just poke me again. ZooFari 22:15, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

Can you make the numbers Arial? Thanks. upstateNYer 01:00, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
✓ Done ZooFari 02:11, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
Crap, I made one mistake. The top-right county of region 5 (Montgomery County) should be part of region 9. upstateNYer 02:47, 28 September 2010 (UTC)

One more: can you make a version of File:New York Counties.svg look like File:Map of USA with state names 2.svg? Remove the Albany and NYC labels. I just want to see counties. I'm going to make a clickable map... if I can. :) upstateNYer 03:06, 28 September 2010 (UTC)

I think I'd even like to see the orange/brown borders between counties and the darker brown for the state boundary, like the USA map, if that's not too much trouble. upstateNYer 03:10, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
Bleh, zooming in on File:New York Counties.svg, it's actually of pretty poor quality. I would suggest starting with File:Map of New York County Outlines.svg like you did for the regions map. upstateNYer 03:19, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
You don't need to include county names, just the colors. I found a tool I can use that will make it clickable, but it has to start with a blank map. upstateNYer 03:25, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
Done, do you want me to upload over that file or new file (and what name)? ZooFari 23:17, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
New one. Call it whatever you want. upstateNYer 00:31, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
Done. How's that? ZooFari 01:06, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
Perfect. This is what I used it for. :) upstateNYer 01:34, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
Nice. I remember it was difficult back in the day, must be a new tool? ZooFari 01:38, 29 September 2010 (UTC)

rename image

Hey, how do I do if I want to rename an image? --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 20:47, 28 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi Supreme Deliciousness. You can tag it newname.exe, ask a filemover, or come by and poke me ;-). You can also apply to be a filemover here if you haven't done so already, but I recommend getting your edit count to at least 200. ZooFari 22:45, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
.Ok, thanks. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 23:38, 28 September 2010 (UTC)

ZooFari, I asked for a rename and an Israeli admin declined it. I believe his decline is based on his own personal pov and not a neutral pov. At the talkpage he claims that the area is "Israeli territory", which it isn't. Can you take a look at it? [2]--Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 00:41, 29 September 2010 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) Will have a look. --Diego Grez return fire 00:43, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
