Hallo zusammen; der Antragsteller scheint sich darauf zu beziehen, dass in den Exif-Daten der hochgeladenen Bilder im Feld "Copyright holder" teilweise eine "Walter Egon AG - CH-3925 Graechen" angegeben ist. Gemeinfrei scheinen die Bilder ja sowieso zu sein, aber vielleicht könnt ihr in der Löschdiskussion selbst noch etwas zur Aufklärung beitragen. Die Eintragung Lincks als Autor bei File:CH-NB - Nyon, von Südwesten - Collection Gugelmann - GS-GUGE-LINCK-B-6.tif scheint mir eher falsch, er war hier wohl eher Verleger ("se vend chez Linck"). Die Kategorie "Collection Gugelmann to be categorized" ist erst einmal abgearbeitet und kann gelöscht werden. Auch die meisten "Prov."-Signaturen konnten halbwegs zugeordnet werden. Ohne Info blieben:

Schon mal herzlichen Dank für alle Korrekturen. Hier noch etwas: Leider wurden die Blätter 2-9 der wunderbaren "Ausruff-Bilder" https://www.helveticarchives.ch/detail.aspx?ID=742250 ff. vergessen hochzuladen, siehe Category:Zürcherische Ausruff-Bilder. Ich bin dabei, auch die Einzelbilder zum Hochladen vorzubereiten (wie bei den Vedutenblättern mit Randvignetten schon geschehen) und würde ganz gerne alle mit einer E-Text-Edition der kurzen Texte bei Wikisource veröffentlichen (die Marktrufe dürften auch für Dialektinteressierte ganz interessant sein), dafür wäre aber eine komplette Serie der hochauflösenden Dateien notwendig. --WolfD59 (talk) 07:24, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Da stimmt noch etwas gewaltig nicht mit den "Ausruffern"... In die Zürcherische Reihe haben sich drei Basler Blätter verirrt, und zwar die Blätter mit den Ausrufern Nr. 8-34 (das sind die mit "Kroomad..." als Rufe, siehe [1]). Werte Schweizer Nationalbibliothek,

könnten sie bitte das "Lokalisierung unsicher" aus den Bildtiteln von Annemarie Schwarzenbachs Photos entfernen? So etwas gehört in die Beschreibung, die Titel verlängert es nur unnötig, außerdem wirkt es irgendwie unprofessionell.

Expiry of GWToolset user group memberships[edit]

There is a proposal on the Bureaucrat's noticeboard to automatically expire GWT memberships after one year unless the user requests an extension. Please add your views and suggestions to the discussion. The reasonably informal process for getting access to GWT access will remain as is.

I believe this is caused by a defective scanner.

Beschreibungskorrektur[edit]

Liebe Nationalbibliothek; das Foto File:CH-NB - Brügg, vue partielle - Collection Max van Berchem - EAD-7072.tif hat "Brügg" im Dateinamen und die Beschreibung lautete "Brügg, vue partielle; Vue partielle d'un place et d'une fontaine classique à Brügg, dans le canton de Berne". Es handelt sich aber hiernach um Brugg AG, nicht Brügg BE, siehe auch das dort verlinkte Vergleichsbild; ich habe die Beschreibung daher nun korrigiert und werde das Bild auf einen Dateinamen mit "Brugg" verschieben, vielleicht möchtet ihr die Korrektur bei euch auch vornehmen. Vielen Dank! Mir ist bei einem Blick auf die Daten aufgefallen, dass im Datensatz unter "Geopol. Daten" bei "Ort" noch "BE" als Kanton steht. Und eine Frage am Rande: Warum steht unter "Erforderliche Bewilligung" eigentlich "Reproduktionsbewilligung", wenn die Datei aufgrund des Todesjahrs des Fotografen doch gemeinfrei ist, als solche auf Commons hochgeladen wurde und keine Reproduktionsbewilligung erforderlich ist? @Swiss National Library and Anvilaquarius: Die Kategorie Category:Grafiken Orts- und Landschaftsansichten steht ohne CH-NB-Zusatz parallel zu Category:CH-NB-Grafiken Orts- und Landschaftsansichten in der Category:Media contributed by the Swiss National Library. Sie ist nicht als "versteckt" gekennzeichnet, aber auch nicht weiter ins Kategoriesystem eingebunden, hat sowieso mit Deutsch die falsche Sprache. Bruch der Vorlagensyntax durch "|"[edit]

Hallo Swiss National Library, unter den letzten Uploads sind ein paar aufgefallen, bei denen durch die Verwendung von "|" in Textteilen innerhalb von {{Artwork}}, die Vorlagensyntax gebrochen ist. Um das zu vermeiden, sollte es durch "{{!}}" oder "|" wiedergegeben werden. Die betroffenen Dateien finden sich in Category:Pages using Artwork template with incorrect parameter. @Ooligan: I'm not the Swiss National Library, and I can't speak for them, but I think I know what this is about: English-language Wikipedia has a username policy that (unlike Commons, or German-language Wikipedia where they're accepted with verification) prohibits role / institution accounts such as this one, and requests individual accounts for each person of an institution contributing to the project. So, I think that the National Library explicitly states this to ascertain that they intend to comply with English-language WP's requirements in this regard. CH-NB and categorisation[edit]

Hi. Please excuse my ignorance for not knowing what the "NB" abbreviation means, I can work out the "CH". I am looking to ensure that all the series of Special:PrefixIndex/Category:CH-NB have a good home into the main categorisation of Commons, as at the moment they are a bit like a shag on a rock. Thanks for any guidance you can give. @Billinghurst: It feels a bit strange for me to answer questions for the Swiss National Library again, as I don't work there and certainly aren't their spokesperson, but as the question is now open for a few days... I think this is answered easily enough, "NB" is simply the abbreviation for the German word for "National Library" - "Nationalbibliothek". Thank you for your comment. Indeed the photographs in question have been taken by August Rupp - however they were ordered by the Wehrli brothers publishers. All rights concerning the black-and-white-photographs by "Photoglob-Wehrli AG" have been handed over to the Swiss National Library in 2007. Given the recent request the Swiss National Library will check out the details for August Rupp. Please do not delete the files yet. The Swiss National Library will get back to this discussion as soon as there will be news from the legal department. Erklärungen der Kürzel[edit]

Liebe Swiss National Library, ich bedanke mich sehr für eure sehr guten Bilder, aber manchmal finde ich es schwierig was die Kürzel alles bedeuten. Was heisst Photoglob, was EAD, WEHR und die jeweiligen Nummern? Ich brauchte etwa einige Zeit bis ich rausfand das LBS eine Aufnahme aus der Luft bedeutet. Guten Morgen Paradise Chronicle, danke für Ihre Nachricht.
Diese Kürzel bilden zusammen die Objekt-Signatur der Schweizerischen Nationalbibliothek. EAD ist das Eidgenössische Archiv für Denkmalpflege, WEHR ist die vierstellige Archivbezeichnung des Archivs Wehrli, die folgende Nummer ist eine Laufnummer und der Buchstabe am Ende bildet das Format der Fotografie ab (das Format B ist 18x24 bzw. 24x18 cm und das Format A ist 13x18 bzw. 18x13 cm gross).

Die Signatur der Schweizerischen Nationalbibliothek ist in Wikimedia Commons bei Uploads nach 2023 zusätzlich immer auch unter Inventarnummer angegeben, der Link zum Datensatz in der Archivdatenbank HelveticArchives findet sich unter Quelle.
Der Name Photoglob-Wehrli bezieht sich auf den Bestand, dem das Archiv Wehrli als eine Sammlungseinheit zugeordnet ist. Die Archiv- oder Sammlungsbeschreibungen sind in der Archivdatenbank HelveticArchives (Globalnotiz EAD-WEHR oder Photoglob-Wehrli) verzeichnet. Für das Archiv Wehrli haben wir die Eckdaten ebenfalls in die Kategorienbeschreibung übernommen.
Über die Signatur oder die Archivbezeichnung lassen sich die Medien auf verschiedenen Stufen identifizieren und finden, daher verwenden wir sie im Dateinamen. CH-NB für Schweiz und Nationalbibliothek, Photoglob-Wehrli für das Archiv und schliesslich die Signatur EAD-WEHR-[...]. Sie können damit Ihre Suchanfrage nach Bedarf immer spezifischer formulieren.

Wenn ich hier anschließen darf? Habe mehrere Dateien aus der Category:CH-NB-Lokalisierung unsicher entfernt. Das Wetterhorn erkannt und anschließend den Fotostandort bestimmt und per errechnetem Panorama bestätigt:
