File:Éric Zemmour à Villepinte le 5 décembre 2021 (cropped).png has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Looks like you are obsessed with Wallonia[edit]

Aren't you? OttavianoUrsu (talk) 06:41, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Why?[edit]

Look, I don't care whether you find your rendition of the Wallonian flag better than previous revisions. But there's no need to file bogus deletion requests to remove other versions. Tom-L (talk) 21:48, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It was a mistake. Should keep « flag of Wallonia.svg » and delete « official flag of Region of Wallonie French Community.svg » because of the quality. Sthubertliege (talk) 07:59, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What's next? Deleting File:Flag of Wallonia.svg because it's not the version you wanted? You are already blocked on Afrikaans Wikipedia for disrupting edits for edit warring with your own in 35 (!) articles like af:Waals ([https://af.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Waals&diff=2654919&oldid=1888665 four edits by you with changing nothing!). After that, you asked for deleting File:Flag of Wallonia.svg per Commons:Deletion requests/File:Flag of Wallonia.svg, which was undeleted. Therefore, I had to add the File:Official Flag of Region of Wallonia French Community.svg in all these 35 articles, because CommonsDelinker doesn't revert his own edits, are he? Now you wanted to change File:Official Flag of Region of Wallonia French Community.svg in a redirect to File:Flag of Wallonia.svg, also prompting a lot of edits in a lot of Wikipedias. Next step, I guess, is asking for deleting File:Flag of Wallonia.svg, wherefore I have to upload this file on Afrikaans Wikipedia locally (like the English Wikipedia, we have fair use there, called "billike gebruik"). @Infrogmation and Billinghurst: please take note of this user, he is playing games on Commons, promting thousands of edits (directly or indirectly) on a lot of Wikipedias using these flags. We have had the debat on af:Wikipedia:Geselshoekie/Argief2024#Gebruiker:Sthubertliege, whereafter I blocked him. If File:Flag of Wallonia.svg is deleted here on Commons, because he is asking to do so, I will upload it on Afrikaans Wikipedia locally. All the other Wikipedias. Groete. --  SpesBona 13:45, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Are you obsessed with me? Could you leave me alone and let me improve the articles that concern my region (Wallonia) and worry about what concerns you? THANKS Sthubertliege (talk) 14:45, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@SpesBona: I will only address the issue of the two versions of the Wallonia flag. Both were creations by Sthubertliege, to the same dimensions, and, to the eye, the same quality and colour. In the end they were suitably duplicate for me to only require the one. If it comes to the choice, the simple naming version of "Flag of ..." has been the practice here at Commons, so I kept that one, and I will also note that it was the original. The deletion policy explains the local process for nominating files, and please read the component about speedy deletion which the nomination was made and performed. A redirect exists for the file and should be suitable at all the wikis. I can give you a long detailed essay of how redirects to a static name can be successfully used where we have underlying dynamic files which are best to be kept to represent their time and that information, however this is not that place.  — billinghurst sDrewth 20:58, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please read the above linked page, and please stop overwriting other versions of files. The community makes its determinations about files through consensus. You are welcome to have your point of view, though yours is just one view, and all are welcomed. A consensus will be formed, and that is our guidance.  — billinghurst sDrewth 03:34, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please also view Commons:Duplicate, your nomination of the file as duplicate is not correct.  — billinghurst sDrewth 03:44, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
