File:Interference Archive book blocs.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Thanks for the notice. Left comments at the deletion discussion. Would appreciate advice about fair use question there if you have a minute. — Rhododendrites talk16:58, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
I've looked at this, and I'd say there may well be an issue (on enwiki at least) under NFCC #8 - unless the artwork is explicitly mentioned in the article, then it is unlikely to meet it. I'm not the greatest expert though, so it may be best to ask over at en:Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. --Mdann52talk to me! 16:37, 4 April 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for cropping - now the composition makes sense; imo the new version can pass as QI. Next time, leave a ✓ Done tag, a comment and signature, when you adressed an issue. Cheers, --Cccefalon 21:30, 23 November 2015 (UTC)

Watermark removal

My understanding is that the best way to remove it is digitally—it's in some layer (in which case you would need the original Photoshop (or whatever) file).

It's often designed to be resistant to efforts to crop it out. I once tried to do that with a watermarked image in Photoshop and the watermark kept showing up. However ... at that time I still had Microsoft PhotoDraw (an excellent program that might have become something had MS decided not to put it on infinite hiatus back in 2000), and was able to eliminate the watermark with it through cropping. Perhaps using some less common image editor might work if that happens. Daniel Case (talk) 06:43, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
