Kategorie[edit]
Zdravím, pokud je celá kategorie Hřídelík v kategorii Ruins of castels in Česká Lípa District, pak pokládám za zbytečné každou fotku zvlášť touto kategorií také opatřovat. Jako na Wiki, kategorii pokud možno jen tu nejnižší. Kdyby to tak nebylo, pak sjednocující kategorii je zbytečné vytvářet. Fotky josefovského opevnění[edit]
Zdravím. Díky za spousty pěkných obrázků. Mám dotaz ohledně fotek, které se nyní nacházejí v kategorii Fortification of Josefov Fortress. Je to opravdu všechno opevnění horní pevnosti, nebo jsou mezi tím i fotky opevnění korunní pevnosti na druhém břehu Labe? Každopádně, bylo by užitečné dodat k jednotlivým fotkám souřadnice, protože to opevnění je opravdu rozsáhlé a kdo to tam dobře nezná, jen těžko může odhadovat, která fotka je ze kterého místa. Myslíte, že byste dokázal (a našel si na to čas) dát k těm fotkám šablonu {{Location}} a vyplnit do ní vždy souřadnice místa, ze kterého to bylo foceno, a azimut nebo zkratku světové strany, kterým směrem to bylo foceno? Nemusí to být přesně na metr - jde prostě o to, aby šlo určit, která část opevnění a ze které strany byla focena. Souřadnice a azimut se dají z mapy zjistit například pomocí mapy.cz (souřadnice pomocí záložky "místa, lokality a body", úhel focení pomocí záložky "plánování a měření trasy - ruční měření"). Pokud jste s tou šablonou {{Location}} ještě nepracoval, tak se zkuste podívat na nějaké fotky, které ji mají vyplněnou anebo na dokumentaci šablony, případně se můžete obrátit o radu na mě nebo kohokoliv, kdo je používá.
Například pokud byste fotil kostel v Josefově z čelního pohledu, tak z mapy můžete zjistit, že jste fotil z bodu 50°20'20.143"N, 15°55'50.271"E a že azimut focení byl 60°. Vyplněná šablona pak může vypadat třeba takto:
{{location|50|20|20.1|N|15|55|50.3|E|region:CZ_heading:60}} Důležité je to hlavně u těch fotek, kde lze těžko místo popsat jinak, třeba domovním číslem nebo podle nějakých nezaměnitelných detailů na snímku. Většina dlouhodobě přispívajících kolegů se snaží uvádět souřadnice úplně u všech fotek, ale to už je u každého věc priorit, jestli pro projekt poskytuje raději více fotek hůře (resp. jednodušeji) popsaných anebo méně fotek dokonaleji popsaných.
Jinak doufám, že jsem vám neudělal moc zmatků v nahrávání tím, že jsem mezitím upravoval seznam na Wikipedii i kategorie zde na Commons. --ŠJů (talk) 03:57, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- Pokud se týká dotazu na opevnění tak všechny dosud nahrané fotky opevnění jsou z horní pevnosti od vstupu do kasemat u pozůstatků Hradecké brány dále po obvodu opevnění až k ulici Zdeňka Němečka, fotky opevnění korunní pevnosti přijdou ještě na řadu. Souřadnice se pokusím doplnit.

Vadné soubory a + v názvu[edit]
Zdravím. Pozoruji, že u části vašich fotek se nezobrazuje malý ani velký náhled (jen plné rozlišení), a nepomohlo ani když jsem se je pokusil znovu nahrát. Když jsem se teď podíval do údržbové kategorie Images without thumbnails, kam jsem tyto fotky zařadil k řešení, tak jsem si všiml, že všechny ty fotky mají něco společného. Všechny mají na konci názvu znak "+". Řešit by se tento technický problém měl tak jako tak, ale snad by pomohlo, pokud byste se v názvech souborů vyhýbal zvláštním znakům a používal k rozlišení například nějaká čísla nebo písmena (já používám čísla v závorce, aby se to méně pletlo např. s čísly popisnými). --ŠJů (talk) 20:47, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

Oprava - Jungmannova 92[edit]
File:Městský dům Jungmannova 92, Jaroměř-Josefov.JPG jsem opravil a přejmenoval na Duškova 111 - což se dá z mapy snadno prověřit (například podle počtu domů a bloků směrem ke kostelu). Vyhodil jsem to i ze seznamu na Wikipedii. Nemáte v záloze pravou Jungmannovu 92? --ŠJů (talk) 21:54, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

- Fotky jsem prohodil - dal jsem do seznamu k položce "Jungmannova 92" to nároží s domem "Jungmannova 99", které jste pravděpodobně chtěl použít, když není dostupná přímo fotka onoho sousedního domu. Doufám, že nemáte nic proti tomu. --ŠJů (talk) 22:16, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

Kategorie a nováčci[edit]
Zdravím, pane kolego a moc děkuji za tu spoustu práce, kterou zpracování té WLM hromady setrvale a kousek po kousku věnujete. Jenom se při té příležitosti přimlouvám, neb jsem na to tu a tam narazil, nemějte ohledně těch úplných nováčků až tak vysoké nároky - zakládat kategorii ke konkrétní drobné památce, to je práce spíš pro už zavedenější osoby, jako jsme my, které vědí, kam zhruba co vrazit a jak by názvy alespoň přibližně měly znít - u těch novopečených příležitostných přispěvatelů myslím můžeme být rádi, když svedou opatřit svoje foto vůbec jakou kategorií, alespoň obce... --GCZPN3 (talk) 19:56, 1 October 2013 (UTC)

Děkuji Petr für die Fotos aus Vorarlberg. Es ist auch sehr schön, dass du die Denkmalgeschützten Objekte gleich richtig mit der Denkmal-ID richtig bezeichnest. Eine Frage: Hast du vielleicht auch Fotos aus der Slowakei. Unter sk:Zoznam kultúrnych pamiatok na Slovensku findest du die slowakischen Denkmäler. Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2013 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2013) to produce a single Picture of the Year.
Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.
There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. The top 30 overall and the most popular image in each category have continued to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just one image to become the Picture of the Year.

The 2013 Picture of the Year competition has ended and we are pleased to announce the results: We shattered participation records this year — more people voted in Picture of the Year 2013 than ever before. In both rounds, 4070 different people voted for their favorite images. Additionally, there were more image candidates (featured pictures) in the contest than ever before (962 images total).
- In the first round, 2852 people voted for all 962 files
- In the second round, 2919 people voted for the 50 finalists (the top 30 overall and top 2 in each category)
We congratulate the winners of the contest and thank them for creating these beautiful images and sharing them as freely licensed content:

Multiple camera positions per file[edit]

Kasárna v Hradci Králové[edit]
Zdravím. Našel jsem chybu u Vaší fotky Kasárna - vojenský pevnostní dům (Hradec Králové), Československé armády 219.JPG. Nejde totiž o tyto kasárna, ale o jezdecká kasárna na ulici Ignáta Herrmanna 227/2, kde se nachází Okresní soud v Hradci Králové. Lze zkontrolovat pomocí Google maps. Dobry den, dekuji Vam za mnozstvi fotek v projektu FCO. U nekolika obci z tiketu 610 - Vitezna, Huntirov, Bukovina - jsem si vsiml zrejme chybneho data porizeni 2004. Mozna se vyskytuje i u ostatnich z toho dne. Taky si myslim, ze objektiv by zaslouzil vycistit - na fotkach se uz delsi dobu objevuji skvrnky na stale stejnych mistech. Tip: Categorizing images[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.
[[Category:Category name]]
For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:
[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]][[Category:Comets]]
This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Dear Petr1888,
The leftmost two images above show a Rorippa species because of the very short fruits. The leaves also do not match Barbarea vulgaris. Because the images are from Czech Republic, this should be Rorippa sylvestris. I recategorized you photographs already.

Nové kategorie[edit]
Zdravím. Chtěl bych vás poprosit, pokud zakládáte pro nějaké téma novou kategorii, kam chcete vložit své fotografie, abyste vždy alespoň letmo nahlédl do jejích nadkategorií, jestli tam dané téma už nějaké fotografie nemá, a přidal je případně do té kategorie taky. Někdy je dobré vyzkoušet i fulltextové hledání. Teď jsem třeba narazil na několik rybníků a písníků v Plačicích, pro které jste založil kategorie v září a říjnu 2018, ale nepřesunul jste do nich z kategorie Plačice fotky, které byly nahrané už v listopadu 2016 a byly celkem jednoznačně pojmenované, aby bylo už na první pohled zřejmé, co na nich je. Chápu, že ne vždy má člověk čas jen tak mimochodem se pustit do důkladného třídění či zkoumání stovek netříděných fotek, ale aspoň letmo prolétnout by to člověk měl vždycky, když zakládá novou podkategorii. Samozřejmě je vhodné mít zapnutý nástroj Cat-a-lot pro snadné hromadné přesuny fotek, přesouvat to ruční editací každé stránky zvlášť by skutečně byla otravná práce. --ŠJů (talk) 04:18, 28 November 2018 (UTC)

Wiki Loves Monuments France 2019[edit]
Bonjour,
Le concours Wiki Loves Monuments France est de retour et ouvert jusqu'à 31 septembre ! Déjà 8309 photos ont été importés cette année, vous aussi rejoignez le concours !
Le concours concerne tous les monuments présents dans la base Mérimée (qu'ils soient classés, inscrits ou simplement classés). De l'imposant château aux ruines industrielles, de la chapelle au coin de la rue aux mégalithes en forêt, c'est un impressionnant patrimoine qui attend d'être photographié et documenté. Où que vous soyez il y a des monuments autour de chez vous. Enfin, vous pouvez mettre en ligne autant de photos que vous le souhaitez de ces monuments. Pour information, le règlement est disponible sur le site du concours. Nous attendons vos photos avec impatience !
Les plus belles photos seront sélectionnées par un jury national composé d'amateurs et de professionnels, de contributeurs à Wikimedia Commons et d'acteurs du patrimoine. Un jury international sélectionnera ensuite des meilleures photographies mondiales.
Si vous avez des questions, l'équipe organisatrice se fera un plaisir d'y répondre.

Proplacení nákladů na foto cesty[edit]
Ahoj,
blíží se konec roku, pokud jsi letos podnikl nějaké foto cesty, které nemáš zadané v Trackeru a chtěl bys zažádat o proplacení nákladů na dopravu, tak je prosím zadej, doplň nebo odešli ke schválení. Hi Petr1888, I just changed the ID of the plant on the image File:Plants am Rufikopf 11.JPG from Leontodon hispidus to Jacobaea incana subsp. carniolica. The misidentificaton had been spotted a long time ago by a botanist (see talk page). The species do not resemble each other much, e.g. Jacobaea species have both ray flowers and disk flowers, Leontodon species have ray flowers only. Změna pravidel proplácení Fotíme Česko[edit]
Dobrý den,
v uplynulých letech jste se zapojil do projektu Fotíme Česko, a proto bychom Vás chtěli informovat o tom, že se dojde k úpravě pravidel na proplacení nákladů. Od 1. července 2023 bude platit, že vytvořený tiket je nutno vyplnit a odeslat k proplacení do 3 měsíců, od jeho vytvoření. Dále se mění to, že všechny tikety vytvořené v daném kalendářním roce budou uzavřeny k 31.12. téhož roku.

Změna pravidel Fotíme Česko a Foto českých obcí[edit]
Dobrý den,
Chtěl bych vás informovat, že v projektech Fotíme Česko a Foto Českých obcí (do nichž jste se v minulých letech zapojil/a) došlo k úpravě pravidel týkající se proplacení nákladů. Nově lze žádat o proplacení fotografií ne starších než tři měsíce. Zároveň je nutné odeslat k proplacení všechny tikety nejpozději k 15. prosinci daného kalendářního roku.
K této úpravě pravidel přistupujeme z důvodu usnadnění administrativy, zpracování a účetní náročnosti dlouhodobě otevřených tiketů. Tato změna pravidel vstupuje v platnost ihned. Nejpozději v květnu budeme uzavírat tikety s fotografiemi z ledna tohoto roku. Od května už bude platit maximální 3 měsíční "stáří" fotografií.

Sloučení podtémat na Trackeru[edit]
Dobrý den, chtěl bych vás informovat o sloučení podtémat pro fotografické programy při vyplňování tiketu na Trackeru. Jedná se o drobnou organizační změnu, ale raději posílám odkaz na aktualizovaný návod FČ. Všechny už existující tikey byly přesunuté dané podtéma.
Při vytváření tiketu: „V poli Téma vyberte 2. Programy pro komunitu 24.“ „V poli Podtéma vyberte 2.1.1. Programy pro fotografy | Fotíme Česko/Foto českých obcí 24.“
Pokud budete chtít proplatit náklady v rámci projektu Foto Českých obcí, napište tuto infomaci do kolonky "Popis" na Trackeru. S pozdravem,
