Zjednodušení kategorií

Ahoj, musel jsem revertovat většinu tvých editací u bunkrů s označením "zjednoduseni kategorii", protože byly principielně chybné. U fotek File:Trutnov, Babí, G3-54-A-140 Z (rok 2012; 02).jpg a File:Trutnov, Babí, G3-54-A-140 Z (rok 2012; 03).jpg šlo o to, že památkově chráněné jsou oba objekty na fotce, jak bunkr (s vlastní kategorií), tak sloup (bez kategorie, viz [1]), proto byly fotky ještě v kat. Babí a v kat. KP v Trutnově. Tuto editaci společně s těmito editacemi (u dalších kategorií lehkých objektů) jsem revertoval z důvodu, že celý úsek G3 Babí obsahuje 53 bunkrů ([2]), z toho památkově chráněno je pouze 10. Proto paušalizování památkové ochrany na celý úsek je chybné. --Harold (talk) 09:43, 25 June 2014 (UTC)

OK, omlouvam se, takhle podrobne informace jsem nemel. Jen mi prislo nadbytecne, aby ty obrazky byly v tolika sobe nadrazenych kategoriich. Jsem rad, ze jsme se shodli aspon na zjednoduseni Babi + KP v Trutnove -> KP v Babi, protoze tato kategorie je zahrnuta v obou predchozich. JiriMatejicek (talk) 10:29, 26 June 2014 (UTC)

Jasně, kat. KP v Babí je v pořádku. Nejdřív jsem si jí nevšiml, pak jsem to napravil. Kolega ji sice na jaře založil, ale bohužel tam nezakategorizoval všechny fotky a kategorie, které už tu předtím byly a které tam logicky patří. --Harold (talk) 12:36, 26 June 2014 (UTC)

Wiki Loves Monuments 2014 startet in Kürze

Hallo JiriMatejicek,

in Kürze ist es wieder soweit. Der nun schon traditionelle Fotowettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments wird im September zum vierten Mal stattfinden. In ähnlicher Form hatte unlängst der Wettbewerb "Wiki Loves Earth" eine erfolgreiche Premiere. Zu allen bisherigen vier Wettbewerben haben seit 2011 gut 3000 unterschiedliche Teilnehmer (User) ihren Beitrag geleistet. Du warst dabei, und bist auch herzlich eingeladen, am bevorstehenden WLM-Wettbewerb wieder dabei zu sein.

Allein in Deutschland wurden in den letzten drei Jahren im Rahmen von WLM rund 100.000 Fotos zu den insgesamt ca. 850.000 Kulturdenkmalen bundesweit hochgeladen. Jährlich haben sich mehrere Hundert Wiki-Fotographen daran beteiligt. Auch im kommenden Denkmalmonat wird dies gewiss wieder der Fall sein. Der Tag des offenen Denkmals am 14. September bietet bundesweit vielfältige Möglichkeiten, Denkmale nicht nur von außen, sondern auch von innen zu fotografieren. Denkmallisten sind dabei ein wichtiger Orientierungspunkt und zugleich auch Ziel der Einbindung der Fotos. Auch in diesem Jahr sind wieder neue Denkmallisten hinzugekommen, die hilfreich bei der Planung von individuellen oder Gruppen-Fototouren sind und auf eine Bebilderung warten, wie z.B. zu Görlitz oder Zittau. Unter den Landeshauptstädten fehlt nur noch Stuttgart. Aber auch hier ist Licht in Sicht.

In der Mitte Deutschlands hat die Denkmallandschaft der thüringischen Landeshauptstadt Erfurt nun das Licht der Wikipedia-Welt entdeckt. Mehr als 50 Tabellen enthalten 3.700 Denkmale. Allein die wunderschön restaurierte Altstadt umfasst 1.800 Denkmale. Eine von WMDE geförderte WLM-Fototour nach Erfurt am Wochenende vom 29. – 31. August lädt herzlich ein, diese einzigartige Kulturlandschaft zu dokumentieren. Mehr Informationen findest Du auf der Projektseite.

Wiki Loves Monuments 2014 - Wiki4Alps edition

WLM CH (Deutsch) Liebe/r Teilnehmer/in des Wettbewerbs Wiki Loves Monuments CH 2013, Die Ausgabe 2014 des Wettbewerbs Wiki Loves Monuments hat Montag 8 September begonnen. Dieses Jahr fokussiert sich der Schweizer Wettbewerb auf die Region der Alpen. Die vergangenen Wettbewerbe haben ermöglicht, dass mehrere tausend Fotos von Schweizer Denkmälern gesammelt werden konnten. Dank euch hat es auf Wikimedia Commons Bilder von zahlreichen Denkmälern. Jedoch haben wir festgestellt, dass die Denkmäler, welche sich in den alpinen Regionen befinden, dabei nur sehr gering vertreten sind. Aus diesem Grund fokussiert sich der diesjährige Wettbewerb spezifisch auf die Alpen, um auch diesen Lebensraum auf Wikimedia Commons besser dokumentiert vorzufinden. Denkt daran: Hochgeladen werden können die Bilder vom 8.September bis und mit dem 8.Oktober 2014. Um am Wettbewerb teilzunehmen, könnt ihr jedoch auch Bilder hochladen, die ihr zu einem beliebigen Zeitpunkt gemacht habt. Die Fotos müssen nicht während der Wettbewerbszeit entstanden sein. Wikimedia CH organisiert mehrere Wikiexpeditions während dieser Wettbewerbs-Zeit, um Fotos von Denkmälern zu machen, die nur sehr spärlich auf Commons dokumentiert sind. Wiki Loves Monuments 2014 - Ein Wiki-Beitrag für die Denkmaltopographie

Hallo JiriMatejicek,

vor zehn Tagen endete der vierte Fotowettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments. Du hast daran aktiv teilgenommen und wir möchten Dir dafür herzlich danken.

Mit mehr als 35 Tausend Fotos hat Deutschland wie in den Vorjahren ein gutes Ergebnis erreicht und einen Anteil von 14 % an diesem internationalen Projekt erbracht, an dem sich 40 Länder beteiligten. Sehr erfreulich ist die hohe Zahl an 651 Teilnehmern allein in Deutschland. Schon zum Abschluss des Wettbewerbs waren rund 6000 Fotos (=17 %) in Listen und Artikel eingebunden. Einen detaillierten Überblick zu den Fotos, den Bundesländern und Teilnehmern findest du auf unserer WLM-Projektseite.

Die deutsche Jury hat nun die eingereichten Beiträge übernommen und ist gegenwärtig dabei, diesen wertvollen Fotobestand zu den Kulturdenkmalen zu sichten. Am nächsten Wochenende wird in Hamburg die entscheidende Jury-Sitzung stattfinden. Wir wünschen auch Dir mit Deinem Foto-Beitrag dabei viel Glück und Erfolg. Du darfst gespannt sein und all Deine Freunde bitten, Dir die Daumen zu drücken.

Die preisgekrönten 100 Gewinner-Fotos werden in der Woche ab dem 20. Oktober veröffentlicht. Auf dieser Grundlage wird auch in diesem Jahr ein Kalender-Poster für 2015 gedruckt werden.

Auf zwei Möglichkeiten einer weiteren aktiven Mitwirkung an unserem Denkmal-Projekt möchten wir bei dieser Gelegenheit hinweisen bzw. Dich dazu einladen:

• Unsere Freunde in Österreich haben mit einem gerade gestarteten Denkmal-Cup das Editieren von Denkmallisten und Denkmalartikeln in den Focus gerückt. Bis Ende des Jahres kannst Du Punkte sammeln und Preise gewinnen. Dabei geht es mit diesem Wettbewerb nicht nur um Kulturdenkmale in AT oder D, sondern generell um Denkmale in der deutschsprachigen Wikipedia, als offen für alle Länder.

• Vom 6.-8. November findet erneut die Europäische Denkmalmesse in Leipzig statt. Mit Unterstützung von Wikimedia Deutschland e.V. werden wir zum zweiten Mal die Ergebnisse von Wiki Loves Monuments im Rahmen eines Standes sowie eines Workshops vorstellen.

WLM-Aktivisten sind herzlich eingeladen, bei der Betreuung des Messestandes sowie in den Gesprächen über Möglichkeiten einer partnerschaftlichen Zusammenarbeit mit den Denkmalbehörden mitzuwirken. Die Reisekosten übernimmt für 8-10 registrierte Standbetreuer WMDE. Es muss nicht der gesamte Messezeitraum sein, auch eine Mitwirkung an 2 Tagen hilft uns, den Beitrag der Wikipedia für die Denkmaltopographie sichtbar zu machen.

Und schließlich gilt: Nach dem Wettbewerb ist vor dem Wettbewerb. Bereits jetzt kann jeder mit der Planung von Wiki Loves Monuments 2015 beginnen. Wir freuen uns auf Deine weiteren Beiträge für Wikimedia-Projekte.

Der WLM-Countdown hat begonnen

Hallo JiriMatejicek,

nun ist es wieder soweit. Vom 1. bis zum 30. September findet zum fünften Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments statt. Im Mittelpunkt steht bekanntlich das Fotografieren von Kulturdenkmalen. Du hast an einem der letzten Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen und wir freuen uns auf weitere Bildbeiträge von Dir.

Viele interessante Motive, nicht nur Burgen und Schlösser, sondern auch Fachwerkhäuser, Brücken und Brunnen, technische und Industriedenkmale und vieles mehr gibt es noch zu fotografieren, damit sie in der Wikipedia dokumentiert werden können. Nützliche Tipps findest du auf unserer WLM-Projektseite. Du kannst gerne individuell Fototouren durchführen oder aber Dich auch Gruppentouren anschließen. Besonders freuen wir uns auf Fotos, die Lücken in den Denkmallisten der Wikipedia ausfüllen.

Darüber hinaus kannst Du auch an der Arbeit der Jury teilnehmen, die Mitte Oktober die Fotos bewerten und die Gewinner ermitteln wird. Bis zum 15. August kannst du hier Deine Bewerbung einreichen.

I don't do this intentionally. I've seen a lot of files categorized incorrectly based on single keyword. I might have accidentally clicked on an adjacent line when choosing the category. Please take a look at File:Shimen Dam 石門大壩 - panoramio.jpg, and it clearly shows "Shimen Dam". In fact, Shimen District does not have any dam nor reservoir. I still don't understand why you put it in "Shimen District, New Taipei" category. If you don't know what category it should be put in, you can ask for help at COM:HD. Concorso Wiki Loves Monuments Italia 2018 (English version)

Gentile JiriMatejicek, ti ringraziamo ancora una volta per la tua passata partecipazione a Wiki Loves Monuments (WLM). Il più grande concorso fotografico del mondo si svolge anche questo settembre per documentare e promuovere il patrimonio culturale italiano, con una licenza copyright libera.

Quest'anno è doppiamente facile partecipare: gli oggetti fotografabili coprono quasi 1000 comuni in più, grazie all'adesione di centinaia di nuovi enti fra cui Roma, e alla possibilità di fotografare circa 2000 alberi monumentali. Controlla le liste di monumenti fotografabili! Carica tutte le foto che hai e magari organizza una visita presso i monumenti che ancora non hanno una foto.

Quest'oggi il Parlamento europeo ha respinto la proposta di estendere la libertà di panorama. E allora scattiamo e pubblichiamo tutte le foto che possiamo, almeno per questi monumenti per cui ci è legalmente consentito!

Prague sites

Hello! Thanks for your recent reply on the hotel building. I'm also curious, I saw these sites during my visit to Prague but noticed there are no Wikipedia articles:

• Category:Železný rytíř (Ladislav Šaloun)
• Category:Water well at the 2nd courtyard, Prague Castle
• Category:Water well in Karlachovy sady
• Category:Water well in Malé náměstí, Prague
• Category:Grave of Svatopluk Čech

If you think any may be notable enough for an article, or have any leads on sourcing, I'd be interested. Also, I posted a note here seeking feedback on how some Prague sites are organized by geography. I feel comfortable about the accuracy, but if you notice any problems, please let me know. Hello. I am glad that someone is so interested in my hometown.

1. As for the above list, I think that for single statues or wells (except for the really famous ones) it would be difficult/barely worthy to start their own wikipages. Although I haven't done a thorough search, I guess you'd get few lines of info on the net at most. Some is already in the category, such as Category:Fontána s hrajícími si chlapci (Petřín) or Category:Dancing Fountain (Senovážné náměstí); there's a brief info on Il Commendatore on Anna Chromy's page cs:Anna Chromy. I thought I'd find a bit more on the Water well at Malé náměstí, but unfortunately, several of the sources dealt with objects of the same name in different cities. I guess that for richer info, one would have to dig into old-fashioned paper sources, for which I really don't have time. An alternative would be to start wikidata items for them - there you can enter the basic info (in a pre-defined structure), such as year of creation, author, style, coordinates, etc. See e.g. this item I've recently created: [3] All cultural monuments in CZ already have their Wikidata items.

2. As for the list of Prague sites you posted on SJu's page, I'm not sure what is its purpose. Is it just a working document where you keep track of pages you've categorized, of is it used (or intended to use) in some wikipages? For example, Palladium itself is correctly listed in New Town, while in your list it's still under Prague. How do you decide which page gets on this list? I believe not all English wikipages are in it. Smaller objects like statues would be easy to assign to a specific district, but I'd like to know what for.

Some of the articles I created myself after visiting Prague, others existed already. Hi. Just a note that file moves like this were in error. These illuminated murals are in the lobby and box office area of the Place des Arts performing arts centre. I have checked the category and there are more files with the same issue -- solely because of your edits, as far as I can tell. The images from the Place des Arts lobby were all correctly categorized until you moved them to the metro station. There's about six images left in the metro station cat that clearly don't belong. They don't have any resemblance to the metro station and they were all moved there by you. Feedback about QI image

Hello, I just read your email, usually communicating via Commons is quicker (at least for me) as I get tons of emails. I don't see in QI anymore the image you refer to but anyhow, I use Adobe Lightroom for processing my pictures, if you look for a free software I would try RawTherapee, when I used it some years ago it worked pretty good. bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. bis zum 30. September 2019 findet zum neunten Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments statt. Dabei können Bau- und Kulturdenkmale fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich ein, dieses Jahr wieder mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Es sind viele spannende Motive überall in Deutschland zu fotografieren. Neben beeindruckenden märchenhaften Schlössern, Burgen und Kirchen können auch andere Kulturdenkmale wie Brücken, Industrieruinen, Bauernhöfe oder Parks fotografiert werden, um sie unter anderem in der Wikipedia zu dokumentieren. In den letzten Jahren sind zahlreiche neue Denkmallisten entstanden, die sich über Fotos freuen. Für die Suche nach Motiven gibt es bei Wikipedia zahlreiche Listen und Karten. Als Einstieg hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Weitere Informationen erhältst du auf der Mitmach-Seite.

Du bist interessiert, am Wettbewerb mitzuwirken, dir fehlt aber die richtige Technik? Dann wirf doch mal einen Blick in den Technikpool und das Technikleihportal von Wikimedia Deutschland! Dort findest du Kameras, Objektive und Zubehör verschiedenster Art. Sollte noch Technik fehlen, die aber in Zukunft unbedingt benötigt wird, dann freut sich Wikimedia Deutschland über dein Feedback zum Technikpool.

Außerdem laden wir Dich ein, ab Mitte September 2019 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Diese bewertet die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelt so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die im Oktober tagt, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Monuments 2019 in Deutschland. Thank you so much for contributing to the UK section of this year's Wiki Loves Monuments contest, which finished yesterday. We really do appreciate the time and effort you've put in to record the UK's built cultural heritage for future generations.

Your contribution has been been added to our collections here on Wikimedia Commons, and is already available for editors to make use of on Wikipedia and elsewhere. It has also been entered into this year's contest. If you'd like to see your own images, just click on the uploads link at the top right of this page (if you don't see it, click on the Log in option first).

We've received over 10,000 UK entries this year, and it will take a few weeks for our volunteers and professional judges to decide on the final top 10. The winners will be announced by the end of this month, both here on Wikimedia Commons and also on the competition website.

The top 10 UK images will go forward to the international section where they will compete against winners from some 50 other countries. The international winners should be announced here in December.

Cukrárny

Zdravím. Našel jsem, že jste loni na podzim pro české cukrárny založil kategorii Category:Konditoreien in the Czech Republic, aniž byste řešil její vztah k již 8 let existující kategorii Category:Candy stores in the Czech Republic. Chápu, že mnohé reálie jsou v různých zemích a regionech specifické a celosvětově jednotná kategorizace může být problematická, stejně tak jako chápu, že anglický termín "candy store" nemusí být pro české cukrárny úplně nejvýstižnější. Stejně tak ovšem považuji za problematické použít v kategorizačním stromu neanglický (v tomto případě německý) název pro reálie v zemi, ve které není vžitý. Dokážu si představit diskusi o tom, jestli celou kategorii českých cukráren převést ze stromu "candy stores" do stromu "Konditoreien", popřípadě zda nevytvořit pro tento typ podniků nějakou celosvětovou kategorii, která by nebyla vázaná jen na německojazyčné prostředí. Každopádně ovšem bylo chybou české cukrárny nechat nedůsledně rozdělené ve dvou různých paralelních kategorií, přestože v českém prostředí je termín „cukrárna“ vnímán jako celkem jednotný. Prozatím jsem tedy kategorizaci vrátil do původního stavu s tím, že strom "Konditoreien" bych i nadále ponechal jako specifický pouze pro německojazyčné země, kde se toto označení reálně používá. --ŠJů (talk) 22:49, 7 February 2020 (UTC)

Dobry den, dovolte mi to vysvetlit/upresnit. Neni pravda, ze jsem kategorii 'candy stores' ignoroval, ani ze je paralelni. Hned, jak jsem kategorii Category:Konditoreien in the Czech Republic vytvoril, jsem ji zaradil do Category:Candy stores in the Czech Republic, jak lze videt zde. Sice mi to logicky moc nesedi (podle me nejsou cukrarny podtridou obchodu s bonbony), ale v zajmu konzistence jsem se drzel uz zabehnuteho vzoru - usporadani, ktere uz bylo jinde (asi v Nemecku). Obecne se u novych kategorii na commons drzim anglictiny, tam kde je to smysluplne. Nazev 'konditorei' jsem pouzil ne z lasky k nemcine, ale protoze jsem ho nasel v anglickem radku cukrarny na wikidatech. Sice jsem ho nikdy neslysel v anglictine pouzit (mozna malo diskutuji o cukrarnach), ale predpokladal jsem, ze jde o podobny pripad jako 'kindergarten'. Je samozrejme mozne, ze to do wikidat nekdo 'strelil od boku' bez realneho zakladu. Souhlasim s Vami, ze v ruznych zemich maji ruzny pristup i realie a ze je tedy tezke kategorizovat vse na commons jednotne. Ja osobne povazuji vyraz 'cake shop' blizsi ceske cukrarne, ale jini lide to zase mohou videt jinak. Takze to klidne muze zustat tak, jak jste to nastavil Vy. Nic neni ztraceno - budou-li Cesi hledat obrazky cukraren, muzou je najit podle tohoto slova v nazvu souboru a skocit do prislusne kategorie, at uz je nazvana jakkoli. Wiki Loves Monuments 2020

Hallo JiriMatejicek,

bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. bis zum 30. September 2020 findet zum zehnten Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments statt. Dabei können Bau-, Boden- und Kulturdenkmale fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich gern wieder ein, dieses Jahr mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Obwohl es den Wettbewerb seit zehn Jahren gibt, sind immer noch viele Motive überall in Deutschland zu fotografieren. Neben beeindruckenden märchenhaften Schlössern, Burgen und Kirchen können auch andere Kulturdenkmale wie Brücken, Industrieruinen, Bauernhöfe oder Parks fotografiert werden, um sie unter anderem in der Wikipedia zu dokumentieren. In den letzten Jahren sind zahlreiche neue Denkmallisten entstanden, die sich über Fotos freuen. Es haben sich auch Kulturdenkmale verändert, sie wurden saniert oder umgestaltet. Diese Entwicklung kann auch gezeigt werden. Für die Suche nach Motiven gibt es bei Wikipedia zahlreiche Listen und Karten. Als Einstieg hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Weitere Informationen erhältst du auf der Mitmach-Seite.

Du bist interessiert, am Wettbewerb mitzuwirken, dir fehlt aber die richtige Technik? Dann wirf doch mal einen Blick in den Technikpool und das Technikleihportal von Wikimedia Deutschland! Dort findest du Kameras, Objektive und Zubehör verschiedenster Art.

Außerdem laden wir Dich ein, ab 5. September 2020 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Diese bewertet die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelt so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die im Oktober tagt, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Monuments 2020 in Deutschland. Das Vorjurytool ist hier bald freigeschaltet. Du benötigst dafür nur deinen Benutzernamen und das Passwort.

You may (or may not) be aware that I am subsequently categorising each school logo by country, improving the description of each school logo (which in some cases are actually logos of universities and colleges), amending the name of the file (where appropriate) to maintaining a consistent naming format, and adding other categories (high school middle school, elementary school, etc.) If you are able to determine the country of the school, at outset, that may help reduce some of my workload. @Rangasyd: Hello, thank you very much for this very useful work. Let me explain my approach. I do this occasionally when I have some (short) time between other work. The aim is to clear up (part of) the uncategorized images; I do a text search for 'logo', as this is easy to check whether the file content corresponds with the text, and move most of them to category 'Logos'. Those which could be quickly associated with particular subjects (e.g. schools, radio stations, sports clubs) I move individually to the corresponding category. Of course, this is an incomplete solution, but balanced by the larger number of files that could be processed this way. I believe that less specific category is much better than no category and I hope that people with interest/knowledge in a particular topic regularly or occasionally check their topic, take the baton and move the files further into the most specific categories (i.e. what you do). In principle, if I see that the file is used by a specific wikipage, I can identify the country (or everything else), but I am not sure whether it would help you. If you categorize logos of schools, isn't it easier to look in one generic category, rather than (many) categories for countries? --JiriMatejicek (talk) 18:25, 18 February 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for your explanation - and understood that moving them to Logos and Logos of schools is a start, with other editors to add more value to move them to more precise categories. As to having all Logos of schools together in one category, I feel that there would be way too many. Anyway, the countries categories were created some time ago and I'm only creating new (country) categories were they haven't previously been created. Wie du bei den Top 5 des vergangenen Jahres siehst, sind vor allem Tiere unter den Siegerbildern. Aus diesem Grund setzen wir den Fokus dieses Jahr stärker auf Landschaftsaufnahmen. Aber natürlich haben auch Tierbilder eine Chance zu gewinnen.

Es sind wie immer viele spannende Motive überall in Deutschland zu finden. Neben Naturdenkmälern wie alten Bäumen oder Naturparks im Gebirge und am Meer können Geotope wie Findlinge, Quellen und Aufschlüsse oder FFH-Gebiete fotografiert werden, um sie unter anderem in der Wikipedia zu dokumentieren. Auch im vergangenen Jahr sind zahlreiche neue Listen und Artikel in diesen Bereichen entstanden, für die wir uns über Fotos freuen. Als Einstieg für die Suche nach Motiven hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Weitere Informationen erhältst du bei WLE 2021 - Deutschland und unter dieser Anleitung. Falls du im Moment nicht wie sonst in die Natur fahren kannst, findest du vielleicht in den Tiefen deiner Festplatte oder auf dem Smartphone noch interessante Fotos.

Wiki Loves Monuments 2021

Hallo JiriMatejicek,

bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. bis zum 30. September 2021 findet zum elften Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments statt. Dabei können Bau-, Boden- und Kulturdenkmale fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich gern wieder ein, dieses Jahr mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Obwohl es den Wettbewerb seit über zehn Jahren gibt, sind immer noch viele Motive überall in Deutschland zu fotografieren. Im Herzen Deutschlands in Thüringen und in Niedersachsen sind neue Denkmallisten entstanden, die auf Fotos warten. Übrigens in der Hauptstadt Thüringens in Erfurt findet dieses Jahr die WikiCon vom 1. bis 3. Oktober statt. Dies könnte man mit einem Foto-Kurzurlaub vor der WikiCon in Thüringen verbinden …

Vor dem Hintergrund der Flutkatastrophe 2021 haben wir auch drei Sonderpreise ausgelobt. Damit sollen Fotos prämiert werden, die Kulturdenkmale zeigen, die zerstört wurden. Das Foto kann das Objekt vor oder nach der Zerstörung zeigen.

Für die Suche nach Motiven gibt es bei Wikipedia zahlreiche Listen und Karten. Als Einstieg hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Weitere Informationen erhältst du auf der Mitmach-Seite.

Hi @Satdeep Gill. Yes, I have taken the photos. Since the sculptures were installed only temporarily in the public space, I have asked Vojtěch Míča, their author, for permission.

There are also 3 photos taken by someone else; I took the opportunity to include them in the proposed letter of consent, to save everyone's time. As for the photographer(s), I think the permission to publish under a free license is made at the instant of uploading them to Commons, so I am not sure what kind of 'confirmation' is expected from me. Jednoznačnost názvů kategorií

Zdravím. Díky za fotografie, kterými do projektu vytrvale přispíváte, i za práci na kategorizaci atd. Zkuste, prosím, při pojmenovávání kategorií více myslet na to, jestli zvolený název kategorie je dostatečně výstižný a jednoznačný - i když samozřejmě má být co nejstručnější. Například u názvu typu "Školní 13" už i pouhá intuice napoví, že takový název zdaleka jednoznačný nebude.

Samozřejmě pokud kategorii této budovy vidíte v rámci kategorie příslušné konkrétní ulice, zdá se, že žádná záměna nehrozí, protože tam má budova jasně daný svůj kontext. Jenže název kategorie by měl být výstižný a jednoznačný v rámci celého projektu Commons, a protože ulic s názvem Školní existuje přibližně 485, je takřka stoprocentně jisté, že samotný název této ulice s číslem jednoznačný nebude. Přičemž "váš" název kategorie se nenachází pouze v těch konkrétních trutnovských kategoriích, ale v našeptávačích a výsledcích vyhledávání se bude objevovat každému, kdo bude hledat nebo zadávat kteroukoliv z těch 484 ostatních Školních ulic, a protože ve Školních ulicích se často vyskytují významnější budovy, je v tomto případě dost značná pravděpodobnost, že občas někdo bude chtít hledat nebo zakládat kategorii pro jinou budovu se "stejnou adresou".

Proto je vhodné si při pojmenovávání kategorie vždy uvědomovat, zda název ulice či název obce nebo vesnice jsou jednoznačné (to vám zpravidla naznačí už skutečnost, jestli její vlastní kategorie má rozlišovač), a pokud nejsou, pak s velkou pravděpodobností bude třeba použít rozlišovač i v dalších názvech kategorií, které jsou z tohoto názvu odvozeny. Tj. například pokud tuším, že Nových Vsí je celkem 62, tak mi musí být předem jasné, že název kategorie typu "Kaple v Nové Vsi" nebo "Křížek v Nové Vsi" nebo "Nová Ves 35" téměř jistě jednoznačné nebudou.

Naštěstí není tak složité kategorii dodatečně přejmenovat, jakmile by se v ní kvůli matoucímu názvu začala míchat dvě různá témata. Ale asi je dobré si práci zbytečně nepřidělávat a použít trochu prozíravosti už při prvním pojmenování kategorie a nevhodným názvům se vyhnout rovnou. ŠJů (talk) 16:07, 9 July 2022 (UTC)

dekuji za pripominku. Mate pravdu, ze z nazvu kategorie 'Skolni 13' se nepozna, v ktere je obci. Nicmene pokud je v kategoriich 'Skolni (Trutnov)' a 'Buildings in Trutnov', tak uz o tom podle me neni pochyb. Vsiml jsem si, ze pomerne hojne se napr. u kategorii ulic vyskytuje jev, kdy jedna (nejspis ta prvni zalozena) je bez pridaneho nazvu obce a az ty dalsi s upresnenim, cimz je jednoznacnost zachovana. Nejsem si jist, zda konkretnejsi nazev kategorie nejak pomuze ve vyhledavani - napr. pri zadani 'skolni trutnov' mi vybehla spousta souboru, ktere mely v nazvu 'skolni' i z jinych mist, ktere nemely s Trutnovem nic spolecneho. Kazdopadne presnejsim nazvem se nic nezkazi (akorat bude delsi), tak se budu Vaseho doporuceni drzet.

@JiriMatejicek: Zdravím. Protože jste mě nepingnul, všiml jsem si odpovědi až náhodou teď po roce. Za tu dobu už jsme se jistě oba ve svých zkušenostech o rok posunuli, ale zkusím se k tomu ještě vrátit. Ano, pokud by kategorie fungovaly jako papírová kartotéka (ve které by navíc lístečky byly připevněné tak, aby nešly vyndat, tj. aby nikdy nebylo nutné řešit, kam vypůjčený lístek zase vrátit), tak by skutečně platilo, že by název kategorie nemusel být specifický a jedinečný, protože kontext se pozná podle toho, ve které krabici se lísteček nachází. Ano, v nadřazené kategorii dané konkrétní ulice se u kategorie s adresou domu dá odvodit, že patří k té dané ulici a obci. V jiných nadřazených kategorií (například typu "Roubené domy v okrese Trutnov") už to tak zřejmé bez dalšího pátrání být nemusí. Ale hlavní důvod, proč názvy kategorií mají být dostatečně výstižné a jednoznačné, je ten, že se objevují i jinde - ve výsledcích fulltextového vyhledávání, v různých našeptávačích u nástrojů pro kategorizaci (UploadWizard, HotCat, Cat-a-lot atd.) a pokud nejsou dostatečně výstižné, pečlivému přispěvateli to přidělává práci, že musí jednotlivé nabídky před zvolením rozklikávat, aby zjistil, co ta kategorie vlastně je zač, a méně opatrného uživatele to může zmást, protože zrovna hledá úplně jinou Školní 13 a nabídne se mu tato a jeho nenapadne, že to nemusí být ta v jeho obci. Obecně platí zákonitost, že kategorie, která má nejednoznačný název, do sebe přirozeně nasává obsah, který do ní nepatří, což bývá známkou toho, že je název třeba zpřesnit. A poučit se z toho pro zakládání a pojmenovávání nových kategorií, aby měly vhodný název pokud možno už napoprvé. Obecně platí pravidlo, že rozlišovač se dává tam, kde je potřeba rozlišovat, a nedává se tam, kde rozlišovat potřeba není. Tj. v téže obci tuctové názvy typu "Školní" nebo "Nerudova" rozlišovač dozajista mít musí, zatímco takový název ulice, který je naprosto jedinečný a v žádné jiné obci určitě není, rozlišovač mít nemusí. Totéž platí i pro jiné typy názvů, například pokud chci založit kategorii jako "Chapel in Havelkov", je rozumné se podívat na název nadřazené kategorie a pokud vidím, že kategorie obce má rozlišovač, je to indicie, že to pravděpodobně není jediný Havelkov na světě, přičemž je dost pravděpodobné, že v některém z těch dalších Havelkovů bude taky nejméně jedna kaple. Pokud zakládám kategorii pro pojmenovaný most, vždycky je dobré aspoň letmo zkusit v Mapách a v Googlu, jestli někde jinde neexistuje jiný most téhož názvu. bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. bis zum 30. September 2022 findet zum zwölften Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments (WLM) statt. Dabei können Bau-, Boden- und Kulturdenkmale fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich gern wieder ein, dieses Jahr mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Sieger 2021 – Schloss Langenburg

Vergangenes Jahr hat Matthias Süßen mit einer Drohnenaufnahme von Schloss Langenburg im Morgennebel gewonnen. Welcher Fotograf wird dieses Jahr sein Nachfolger?

Nach WLM 2022 sind wieder zahlreiche neue Denkmallisten entstanden – zum Beispiel die Denkmallisten in Cloppenburg oder in Oldenburg.

Wir haben dieses Jahr unter dem Motto „Klein aber Oho“ drei Sonderpreise für Kleindenkmale ausgelobt. Damit sollen Fotos prämiert werden, die die unterschätzten Kleindenkmale wie Grenzsteine oder Bildstöcke zeigen.

Für die Suche nach Motiven gibt es bei Wikipedia zahlreiche Listen und Karten. Als Einstieg hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Weitere Informationen erhältst du auf der Mitmach-Seite.

Außerdem laden wir Dich ein, ab Anfang September 2022 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Diese bewertet die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelt so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die im Oktober tagt, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Monuments 2022 in Deutschland. Ahoj,

aniz bych schemata razeni nejak podrobne studoval, myslim, ze jsem k teto uprave mel dobry duvod. Predtim (ted uz to nejde zreprodukovat, aniz bych tu upravu vratil) byli v kategorii ceskych architektu tri architekti prijmenim Hlavacek a Hlavka byl nekde uprostred mezi nimi - coz mi prislo nesmyslne. Zrejme proto, ze defaultni razeni dava pismena s diakritikou (zde á) az na konec abecedy. Po uprave je poradi 3x Hlavacek a za nimi Hlavka, coz souhlasi i s Tebou navrhovanym pravidlem. Pokud by se ovsem vyskytl treba Hlavsa, idyla by byla opet narusena. Vzhledem k tomu, ze Commons jsou celosvetove a ne jen ceske a ze defaultnim jazykem je anglictina, nepripada mi na miste prosazovat zde ceska pravidla. Povazuji za vhodnejsi, aby se ceska jmena pouzivala tak, jak se doopravdy pisi (tj. bez uprav typu Hlávka -> Hlavka, Šimáček -> Simacek) a nechat to razeni na defaultnim systemu.

Kdyz to dela kazdy jinak, vede to pak k situaci, ze nekteri lide od Ž jsou vedeni pod Z a nekteri pod Ž, lide od Š zase pod S i pod Š atd., coz je chaos. Ale to by asi bylo na sirsi diskusi.

Proplacení nákladů na foto cesty

Ahoj,

blíží se konec roku, pokud jsi letos podnikl nějaké foto cesty, které nemáš zadané v Trackeru a chtěl bys zažádat o proplacení nákladů na dopravu, tak je prosím zadej, doplň nebo odešli ke schválení. As far as I can tell, it is not part of any time-limited event (festival or exhibition). Several years ago, there was a festival called Cowparade in Prague, where many of similar sculptures were displayed throughout the city. Afterwards, a number of them were purchased by various subjects and installed permanently where the new owners decided. --JiriMatejicek (talk) 16:23, 6 January 2023 (UTC)

Ok. That might be a problem. We have currently an ongoing DR for similar sculptures in Madrid, Spain: Commons:Deletion requests/File:Meninas, Plaza de Santa Bárbara.jpg. We can wait for its outcome. Změna pravidel proplácení Fotíme Česko

Dobrý den, v uplynulých letech jste se zapojil do projektu Fotíme Česko, a proto bychom Vás chtěli informovat o tom, že se dojde k úpravě pravidel na proplacení nákladů. Od 1. července 2023 bude platit, že vytvořený tiket je nutno vyplnit a odeslat k proplacení do 3 měsíců, od jeho vytvoření. Dále se mění to, že všechny tikety vytvořené v daném kalendářním roce budou uzavřeny k 31.12. téhož roku. Vergangenes Jahr hat Radomianin mit einer Gesamtansicht von Kloster Paulinzella gewonnen. Welcher Fotograf oder welche Fotografin tritt dieses Jahr die Nachfolge an?

Für das einfache Auffinden haben wir eine Upload-Karte erstellt, in der viele aber leider noch nicht alle Kulturdenkmale angezeigt werden können. Das Laden der Objekte dauert dort etwas.

Wir haben dieses Jahr „drei Sonderpreise für Bilder von Friedhöfen“ ausgelobt. Zugelassen sind für den Sonderpreis auch Fotos von Friedhöfen, die nicht denkmalgeschützt sind.

Změna pravidel Fotíme Česko a Foto českých obcí

Dobrý den, Chtěl bych vás informovat, že v projektech Fotíme Česko a Foto Českých obcí (do nichž jste se v minulých letech zapojil/a) došlo k úpravě pravidel týkající se proplacení nákladů. Nově lze žádat o proplacení fotografií ne starších než tři měsíce. Zároveň je nutné odeslat k proplacení všechny tikety nejpozději k 15. prosinci daného kalendářního roku.

K této úpravě pravidel přistupujeme z důvodu usnadnění administrativy, zpracování a účetní náročnosti dlouhodobě otevřených tiketů. Tato změna pravidel vstupuje v platnost ihned. Nejpozději v květnu budeme uzavírat tikety s fotografiemi z ledna tohoto roku. Od května už bude platit maximální 3 měsíční "stáří" fotografií.

Sloučení podtémat na Trackeru

Dobrý den, chtěl bych vás informovat o sloučení podtémat pro fotografické programy při vyplňování tiketu na Trackeru. Jedná se o drobnou organizační změnu, ale raději posílám odkaz na aktualizovaný návod FČ. Všechny už existující tikey byly přesunuté dané podtéma.

Při vytváření tiketu: „V poli Téma vyberte 2. Programy pro komunitu 24.“ „V poli Podtéma vyberte 2.1.1. Programy pro fotografy | Fotíme Česko/Foto českých obcí 24.“
