Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Recategorisire

Bună seara,
Mi-ați recategorisit multe imagini despre clădirile din Timișoara. Toate sunt monumente istorice și servesc la ilustrarea ansamblurilor urbane monumente istorice. Acolo trebuie să fie găsite, nu la strada pe care sunt. Ansamblurile nu menționează numele tuturor străzilor, cine nu cunoaște bine Timișoara nu le găsește după numele străzilor.

Recent mi-ați mutat niște fotografii din categoria Category:Architectural elements in Timișoara în categoria Category:Windows in Timișoara. Intenția mea nu a fost să fotografiez ferestrele, ci detaliile arhitectonice care ilustrează stilul Art Nouveau. Acum, dacă le-aș căuta unde știam că ar trebui să fie, nu le-aș mai găsi. Dacă doriți, puteți adăuga categorii, dar vă rog să nu le înlocuiți pe cele puse de mine. Am o experiență de 15 ani în proiectele WikiMedia, cred că știu să pun o categorie. V-aș rămâne îndatorat să reintroduceți categoriile pe care le-ați eliminat. Mulțumesc. --Turbojet (talk) 18:19, 19 January 2022 (UTC)

Tricky categorization issue

Clearly you are correct that all of these (except maybe the first? Not sure) were once houses, but when you replace Category:Buildings in Bucharest with Category:Houses in Bucharest, it seems to me that you reduce the chance of someone correctly adding the additional category for their current use. So your edit may be technically OK, but it's probably counterproductive. - Jmabel ! talk 16:31, 3 March 2023 (UTC)
