Empty images[edit]

Why did you upload a dozen identical images saying "scan missing"? AnonMoos 07:52, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

because

the upload was made with the commonist tool,
automatic numbering tools have been used for the pagenames (so no scan was allowed to be missing and i needed an "empty scan")
the linkage between the pages should be fully functional,
the missing pages will be added as soon as possible, when i get access to teh book again.
everybody kann see that this book with round about 650 pages is (unluckily) not complete yet (therefore the red on yellow signal).

Uploading books[edit]

Hey, I see you regularly upload vast quantities of scanned images of book pages, using the commonist or similar? It would be helpful if you registered a bot account and applied for a bot flag on it - at COM:RFA. Scans[edit]

Die Scans im Commons sind klasse! Nur sind sie leider noch nicht wirklich identifizierbar - schade, denn dadurch sind sie auf Dauer nur sehr schwer von anderen Leuten einsetzbar. There is a simple answer. Your idea is a simple nogo, this method is agreed with commons admins for books. becaus books have a lot of pages, and there are often minor corrections oder changes in the cateqorisation there is no change to handle such things with books of several hundred pages. Therefore I recommend: don't change anything. This answers applies at least to all books and textes cateqorized in with category:de Wikisource book, regardless the nick who loaded it up.

Please can you clarify this, we are working on pd-old books typically. So a change in the license is normally not of any interest. What are the reasons to remove the license from the template?

Reineke/ WS-cat[edit]

Hi Joergens, danke für die Ergänzungen bei den Reineke-PDFs. Ich war mir nicht sicher, ob alle deutschen Buch-PDFs standardmäßig als De Wikisource book PDF kategorisiert werden sollten, unabhängig davon, ob eine Einarbeitung geplant ist (oder überhaupt sinnvoll, weil die Ausgabe nicht maßgeblich ist). Außerdem hast Du (wenn ich mich nicht täusche) auch anderssprachige Bücher so kategorisiert. Kannst du mir das bitte kurz erklären? Dann kann ich bei späteren Uploads die Kategorie gleich setzen. Wir versuchen eigentlich alle deutschsprachigen Texte, die auch mal in Ws bearbeitet werden könnten zu sammeln, dazu gehören für uns auch alle Dialekte. Wir wollen auch ein Auge darauf zu haben, damit niemand sie wegen Irrelevanz löscht. Es kann ohne weiteres sein das ich ein paar Niederländer versehentlich als Dialekt interpretiert habe. Und einen englischen Text habe ich auch erwischt - hat man mir gesagt -. Es wäre nett von dir falls du das grade ziehen könntest. danke. Und noch eine Bitte um den Löschfetischisten keine Chance zu geben bitte die Infobox korrekt ausfüllen. Da ich deutschsprachig (sagt man zumindest) bin, kann ich das in der description entwirren. aber den Autor unter autor, ... einzutragen macht glaube ich nicht wesentlich mehr arbeit. Bildlöschungen[edit]

Hallo Joergens.mi. Mir ist soeben aufgefallen, dass du in dem von mir für Wikisource hochgeladenen Buch Der Körper des Kindes und seine Pflege einige Seiten mit der Begründung "serious copyvio doubts" gelöscht hast, und die Seiten von Fkraus ohne Bilder wieder hochgeladen wurden. Was ich nicht verstehe ist, dass andere Seiten wie z. B. diese hier unberührt geblieben sind, obwohl auch hier der Fotograf unbekannt ist. Kannst du mir das bitte erklären? Wurde die Löschung etwa aus moralischen anstatt, wie von dir angegeben, aus urheberrechtlichen Gründen vorgenommen? Ich hätte es auch vorgezogen, wenn ich von der Löschung benachrichtigt worden wäre. Bei der zeitlichen Reihenfolge bist du einem Mißverständniss aufgesessen. Zuerst hat Fkraus wegen des verdachts auf "serious copyvio doubts" neue Versionen ohne die Bilder hochgestellt, damit der Text erhalten bleiben kann. Ich habe dann die alte Version gelöscht.
Den Ton fand ich jetzt nicht besonders beleidigend, eher etwas aufgeregt, was mir aber durchaus verständlich ist.
Den Rest wird noch geprüft werden

Joergens hat die Löschungen nach Absprache mit anderen, darunter mir vorgenommen, da wir keinerlei Aufsehen erregen wollten. Was an dem oberen Stich unbekannt sein sollte, ist mir nicht ganz klar. Da steht doch eindeutig drüber, daß es sich um das Amt Rüstenberg im Eichsfeld handelt, ein ehemals mainzischer Besitz (siehe auch http://hessen-genealogie.homepage.t-online.de/staaten/kurmainz.html). Ich habe das mal ergänzt. IMO sollten die Bilder auseinandergezogen werden, wobei zu beachten ist, daß es vom Merian-Stich Höchst schon eine Variante gibt. Das auseinanderziehen der Bilder an dieser Stelle ist nicht sinnvoll, hier ist der komplette Band des Merian Category:Merian Mainz Trier Köln so hochgeladen wie er als Buch existiert. Du kannst mit den Pfeilen previous und next durch das Buch navigieren. Dies ist Bestandteil der Topographischen Werke von Merian, von dem noch mehrere Bände hier vorhanden sind. these two different pictures are the pages 176 starting with a headline called "SITTENGESCHICHTLICHES" and the page 178 starting with "4 Uhr schon an..."

Set 2 Image:De Alemannia XIII 049.jpg and Image:De Alemannia XIII 051.jpg these two different pictures are the pages 39 Starting with "Wildeman ( von ..." and the page 41 starting with "19 Junge Huren, alte Hexen. 283 ..."

Sometimes i got similar problems with my ff-browser, i always korrekt with a purge and an reload of the ff-page.

duplicates in books[edit]

Hi. On the above page I have put some book pages that are duplicates. I think it would be a good idea to upload a white 1x1 pixel on every empty page (or any other standard filling for that matter). This will prevent all the dozens of empty pages showing up as duplicate pairs. I'll leave it to you and the other wikisource gurus to sort out. Category:De Vineta (Werner)[edit]

There is some problem here, as some (a few) pages has been renamed to VINETA0002.PNG etc while most of them still are named 0XX.PNG etc. This means that {{De Vineta (Werner)}} doesn't work properly. I suppose the one solution is to rename all of them (puh) and then change the template. Another is to restore those 00X files deleted as duplicates after renaming. 0006.PNG and such are not very good filenames though. Opinions? Finn Rindahl 21:20, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it has to be done semi-manually by tagging the images {{rename media|NEWNAME.ext}}. If images are marked like that by an admin or trusted user, a bot comes along and reuploads them under the new name. Then the original files must be delinked and deleted. Possible errors in uploading of books (final duplicates list)[edit]

Hi. I have put the final list of duplicate files from scanned books on User:Joergens.mi/book dupes. There are about 125 pairs. These pages really need attention. As far as I can see there are 3 possibilities for each page:

upload correct image
upload a "scan missing" image (please use one that is already being used)

Category:Insectenfressende Pflanzen (Darwin)[edit]

Hello, I noticed that you have uploaded a lot of scans from a German edition of Insectenfressende Pflanzen or Insectivorous Plants by Charles Darwin. I have recently finished uploading the images from The Expression of the Emotions and thought I would do some scans from his next book. I have uploaded one image, Image:Insectivorous Plants Figure 1.png. However, I see that you have also uploaded many figures from the book, which are currently uncategorized and unlinked, e.g. Image:Darwin Drosera rotundifolia 4.jpg. It's best not to duplicate the work of others, so I think we should sort these into some category and/or gallery and decide what to do. Did you upload all of the figures from the book, or just some of them? Also, what was your intention with the empty gallery Insectenfressende Pflanzen (Darwin)? You see me really astonished. I thought that I made an upload of all pictures, but I', missing 24 now. The things are linked together by two categories one for the scans and the second for the extracted figures with german text. I'll fix the problem soon There is also a second translated book from Darwin available in german Category:Die Entstehung der Arten 1860 (Darwin)

When your question is, is Royalty- Free License of use of Non-Watermarked Images and Restrictions i can't give you an advice I'm not a lawyer. but I can give you my opinion. NO. Because he want the picture payed from every user who wants to use it. when you payed it once you can use in your personal environment. But donating it to commons is not in his sense. Da selbige Dokumente beim Registergericht von ammtlicher Seite öffentlich ausliegen, halte ich deine Argumentationskett das es nicht PD_germanGov ist für ziemlich schwach. Das Ziel der Hinterlegeung dort ist ja grade diese Offenlegung für doe Öffentlcikeit damit dir Konformität mit den entsprechenden Gesetzen von jedem nachvollzogen werden kann. Book Templates[edit]

Beim Erstellen von Buchvorlagen kopiert man ja immer wieder das gleiche redundante Zeug für die Infobox. Würde es nicht übersichtlicher machen, wenn man diese Sachen auslagert? Habe mal ein Template dafür erstellt, noch im BNR da der Name und Kats noch nicht feststehen. Damit würde man zum erstellen einer Buchvorlage nur noch folgendes brauchen:

Ich glaube du hast nicht verstanden, worauf ich hienaus will. Wenn man nach deiner Anleitung eine neue Vorlage für den Upload erstellt, soll man immer wieder gleichen Textformatierungen und -auszeichnungen kopieren, also etwas, was die zu erstellende Vorlage unübersichtlich macht, schlecht wartbar ist und auch redundante Daten enthält. Ich zeige es dir an dem Beispiel aus der Definition Book-Template mit {{W.Jäger Conradin}}. Jetzt (nach deiner Definition) sieht der Quelltext wie folgt aus:

Ich finde, dass dadurch die Erstellung und Wartung einer Vorlage einfacher ist, auch werden Fehler/Erweiterungen nur in einer Vorlage berichtigt/eingesetzt und ziehen sich nicht durch ganz Commons. Ich meine Deine Idee ist doch schon umgesetzt, du hast leider ein sehr altes Beispiel gefunden - respektive die entsprechende Hilfe ist veraltet. Xarax und ich haben die beiden Vorlagen

daraus entwickelt und sind eigentlich der Meinung das man es nicht mehr sinnvoll verkürzen kann.

Die Parameter sind absichtlich gleich so daß man es nur einmal schreiben muss. und beides durch den Austausch von image und book hat. Wir wollen nach und nach alle Projekte die in der Kategorei DE_wikisorce.. mit den jeweils richtigen Basisvorlagen ausrüsten und zwar soll in jeden Scanvorlage die Image rein und in jede Kategorievorlage die book Erst dann können wir (sprich xarax) die Liste der Bücher auf commons automatisch erstellen. Übrigens wenn ich keine Kategorie setze oder es vergesse wird automatisch De_wikisource_book gesetzt.

Also schaus dir mal an. Wenn du Verbesserungsvorschlage hast, können wir die gerne diskutieren und das Ergebnis umsetzen. Für gute Ideen bin ich immer dankbar. In den Vorlagen sind noch ein paar Goodies (wie eine Linkliste auf jeden scan in der cat und ähnliches) verbaut, aber da müßte ich selber erst wieder nachlesen, da ich sie selten nutze.

Die Regeln für die Benennung sind auch klar. Wilhelm Busch[edit]

Hallo, habe gerade die Kategorie "Busch - gesammelte Werke, Bd.1-4" gefunden, die Du erstellt hast. Zum einen verstehe ich nicht, warum sie "De Busch ..." heisst. Ist das "De " für Deutsch ? Andere Werke von Busch haben aber nicht diesen Präfix. Woran liegt das ? Zum anderen habe ich mit bedauern festgestellt, dass vieles noch nicht auf http://de.wikisource.org/wiki/Wilhelm_Busch verfügbar ist. (Konkret habe ich nach vergeblich nach (dem Text von) Balduin Bählamm gesucht, den man ab http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Busch_Werke_v4_p_009.jpg gescannt findet.) Was müsste man tun, um z.B. dieses Werk auf wikisource verfügbar zu machen ? Kann man dort auch (zunächst mal) nur einen Teil des Textes abspeichern (Habe die ersten Seiten auf http://www.iphpbb.com/foren-archiv/17/1064000/1063360/gedichte-57497851-60323-119.html gefunden.) ? Ja das DE war am Anfang dafür gedacht die deutschsprachigen Scans und Werke damit zu kennzeichnen, das Haben wie inzwischen fallengelassen.
Wenn du Interesse hast die Texte von Wilhelm Busch zu bearbeiten, dann frag doch mal hier im Skriptorium nach. Ich sehe da keine sehr großen Probleme dabei. Grote auf dem Bild gehe ich davon aus, daß Grote selbst den Stich (?) gefertigt hat. Die Unterschrift "Nach einer Zeichnung von Karl Grote" dürfte nach meiner Beobachtung der im 19. Jahrhundert wohl weitverbreiteten allgemeinen Rechtschreibschwäche und einer gewissen "Luschigkeit" bei Bildunterschriften geschuldet sein. Hallo Bernd, ich habe die Categorien eingetragen, d.h du kannst nachschauen was ich gemacht habe. Ich kategorisiere prinzipiell keine Einzelscans auf commons, da ich das bei den über 100 000 hochgeladenen Seiten gar nicht leisten kann. Wenn ich dann im Rahmen von Artikelarbeit auf so eine Seite stoße führe ich diese Kategorisierung wie eben hier nach. Das mache ich auch gerne, falls ich, wie in deinem Fall darauf angesprochen werde. Wenn du in den Artikel von Bödeker gehst wirst du sehen, das ich dort die Seite durch den Ausschnitt ersetzt habe. Dur wirst Ausschnitte aus der Gartenlaube immer unter der Seitennummer mit einem b_ finden. Sind mehr als ein Bild auf einer Seite so folgt der Seitennummer ein _1 bis _n. Vielleicht lohnt es sich für dich auch mal hier hin s:de:Die_Gartenlaube zu schauen, das findest du die vorhandenen Jahrgänge Artikel und Bilder. Ich weis gar nicht ob da nicht sogar mehr von Bödeker und Grothe vorhanden ist.

Deiner Argumentationskette, das dies ein Originalstich von Grothe sein soll, kann ich nicht ganz folgen. Da steht Zeichnung. ich vermuthe eher das eine Stecher im Auftrag der Gartenlaube einen druckfähigen Stich der Zeichnung angefertigt hat.

Also die Kategorie Stadtarchiv habe ich eigentlich nur bei 57 Bildern vergeben und die sind Scans aus dem Stadtarchiv. Auf die Idee das jemand als Kategorie nur den Straßennamen ohne Ort nimmt bin ich nicht gekommen, bin mal gespannt was passiert wenn die nächsten Straßen gleichen Namens in andern Orten kommen. Bei der IHK habe ich gepennt. Trotzdem Danke für den Hinweis. Ich hab ein Auge drauf. Und zum Kategoriebaum groß ja, ausgefuchst na ja Grüße

Schießbefehl[edit]

du hast 2007 einige Kopien des DDR-Schießbefehls hochgeladen und dabei die Lizenz PD-USGov verwendet. Ich frage mich, ob die passt, da der Schießbefehl ja nicht von der Bundesregierung der USA ausgegeben wurde, sondern von der DDR-Regierung (wie du auf File:Schiessbefehl 02.jpg auch angegeben hast). 1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

Template:DE Wikisource Image[edit]

I noticed you restored Template:DE Wikisource Image. It is not used and just adds extra level of transclusions to {{Book}}. Replacement of this and 13 other almost identical "book" templates with {{Book}} was discussed at template talk:Book and template talk:DE Wikisource Image. Sorry for not replying sooner, I went for a weekend here and missed your reply. The problems you mention with File:Die Gartenlaube (1853) b 004.jpg are not related to my changes or to {{Book}} but to those changes, I will try to correct them. I was not involved in changing context of the individual templates only in merging 13 almost identical book templates into one which is easier to maintain, is fully internationalized and have uniform handling of categories. There should be very few differences between {{Book}} and templates replaced by it. The only content changes I did was to occasionally merge metadata from book template (like Template:Gartenlaube (1853)) with matadata in book category (like Category:Gartenlaube (1853) and replace info in the category with the template.

Sorry for not contacting de wikisource (or 12 other projects) directly before making changes, in retrospect I should have done so. However the unification of all book templates was discussed for years (example) and there was no opposition to the idea, since it was a class of frequently used templates which had very few localizations (translations of all the terms to other languages). After switch to use {{Book}} we quickly achieved almost full set of translations, before switching {{Book}} template to use translatewiki translations. That is why I am not thrilled at your attempt to recreate some of the templates. We usually try to have one template per task instead of multiple competing systems. Years ago we unified all geocodding templates into single family of {{Location}} templates (all based on single {{Location/layout}}) and are frequently stopping users from other projects from importing their favorite ones. We also are trying to retire alternatives to {{Information}} template with the only exception of {{Book}} and {{Artwork}}. As for low number of people involved in discussions on Commons that seems to be the norm - if you propose something and get a lot replie then they are usually opposed, if only one or two people replies that's is all we usually get.

If there are any features of the Template:DE Wikisource Image or Template:DE Wikisource Book that you like which are not in {{Book}} let me know and I will look into adding them, otherwise I would like to retire those 2 templates. Greetings --Jarekt (talk) 13:51, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jarekt, please understand, that I'm a litlle bit strikt. But at the moment I'm naintaining more the 350 000 pages for the german wikisource project. And I'm not able to check all pages after changes, somewhere else. I hope you understand, when changes rises like the one schown to you, and you must check for other side effects.

The second point is, there are some help pages und methods described on our pages who to put a book to commons. And when there is a change, the explanations don't work ana longer ans it will blames one me :).

For example the redirect this morning causes a problem: the license got lost by the redirect! And suddenly thousands of pages where without license, luckily no liocense check bot come around und saw this.

One of the most important points is, that every a lot of things are prefilled, like the de wikisource category, the pd-old license,... things that will be forgotten and therefore books gets lost ore deleted.

I'm not interested in private templates or different systems, and I think using the standardized book template as the base is a good idea. Please give us (de wikisource) some time to find a common solution together with you.

It is fine with me to take time to fix things properly. I thought my redirect was safe (sorry for not checking here for your answer, before doing it) since Template:DE Wikisource Image and Template:DE Wikisource Book are not being used at the moment. After merge of all Book templates into one, I performed database check to find all images using {{Book}} which did not have license, and only found few dozens which never had one. As for documentation of how to add metadata to images on Commons may be the best approach would be to write one at Commons, ask for input from few big wikisource projects than translate it to German and other languages and link to it from wikisources. I can create a draft version. Due to "lessons learned" here some commons practices are changing, for example current best practice is for templates not to add licenses and categories but to have them in each file. It is easier to trace history of license changes that way (so if you find file without license you can easily check what license it had in the past) and to allow changes in category structure (subject categories added by a template although convenient are very hard to modify without bots). Hi Jarekt,from the general point of view I agree to your opinion about the licensing with each file, if you look at my pictures Category:Joergens.mi you can see, that I put the license to every single file.

In the case of books my opinion is a little bit different. From my point of view it would be enough if the license for a whole book is at one place, but I understand the technical point, that it is easier to put it to every page. That is the reason why we have a template for every book, because the information is identical by definition for every single page - which is different with pictures, where the information should change with every picture. When you look at the example below you see which information will change from book to book, all other will stay constant, but some of them must be filled in).

Category:De Wikisource book[edit]

I noticed you fully protected Category:De Wikisource book after User:ŠJů proposed that it should be renamed "German Wikisource books" to comply with category name standards. I have never seen adding protection to a category because one does not agree with proposed name change. First it would be excellent if you give a headline to a topic.

Second I want to create a reaction and it worked. On the page is a remark to communicate with de wikisource in advance bevore acting on the pages. Luckily I've a watchpoint on this page to see if anything changes. But I'm going on holiday for three weeks and I don't know weather I've internet access, therefore any idea with a 2 week termination are simply foolish. If this stupid action has been done next week, nobody has seen it and the fools would win. We're still struggling with some curious side efects of changing something in our templates without thinking and informing.

Someone - once again - a single person says: He wants to change the name and although tells us if no one says anything against it within two weeks his obscure thoughts are implemented - same procedure as every year, same curious arguments of standards - seems that standards are changing rapidly - why working on a moving target - no one asks us help creating the standards.

On the page is a memo to inform the community on de wikisource before acting. He doesn't acts as wanted on the page and gets reset, thats all. If you want to change the categorys name, simply post it in the german wikisource scriptorium (even in english) and wait for answers. This category is a central category, because all books/pages used by german wikisource are part of it, but nobody on the german wikisource looks every day weather obscure experiments will be done with the category. SupersededPNG reverts[edit]

I noticed that you've deleted some of my SupersededPNG tags (for example) with comments like "This is part of a book keep it". First of all, "SupersededPNG" tag does not mean that the file must be deleted, but only recommends to use a better version, so the tag does not interfere with the current usage. Second, you have deleted the links. Sorry, It seems that I have misinterpretet the tag. I thought it was set to say there is an other version, delete this one. This pictures and other are used on the german wikisource for then book German Version of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. I put the link to the png in the other version section. Die Gartenlaube[edit]

Hallo. Im Zuge der lästigen Diskussion über die URAA-Urheberrechte in Amerika bin ich gerade dabei, einige Kunstwerke der Jahrhundertwende 19./20. Jh. auf ihre Lizenzvorlagen zu überprüfen, nämlich ob sich da PD-70 eventuell erweitern lässt. Dabei ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Vorlagen {{Gartenlaube (1897)}} usw. eine Lizenz PD-75 tragen. Da diese alle vor 1923 veröffentlicht wurde, werde ich also erstmal {{PD-old-75-1923}} daraus machen. Ich frage mich aber, wo die 75 Jahre herkommen. Hallo, ursprunglich war von mir PD-old gesetzt, bis einer an der Vorlage herumpfuschen musste aus 20 Zeilen Code ist ein Codemonster geworden, was teilweise nicht mal funktioniert. Hast Du dafür eine Quelle? Meines Wissens ist es eine Legende, dass römische Expeditionen überhaupt bis an die Unterelbe gekommen sind. Ihnen ist (wohl aus germanischen Berichten) eine Siedlung an der Alstermündung bekannt gewesen, den sie aber Treva nannten. Die Karte, die Du hochgeladen hast, stammt jedoch ältestenfalls aus dem 15. Jahrhundert, wenn man sich "Skyline" rechts unten anschaut. Notifying you of an image removal under the DMCA[edit]

An image that you uploaded to http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Gartenschlauch_%28Freiburg%29_2989.jpg was removed based on the receipt of a takedown notice made pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. 512 (the “DMCA”). The Wikimedia Foundation (“WMF”) takes alleged copyright infringement very seriously and carefully examines each takedown notice received and the image in question for compliance with U.S. copyright law. This image was one of 59 photographs included in a DMCA takedown notice received by WMF of various publicly-installed sculptures around the world created by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen.

Some of these sculptures are located in countries that recognize “freedom of panorama” for sculptures, while others are not. Currently, U.S. copyright law does not recognize freedom of panorama for works of art, such as sculptures, and thus the copyright holder of a sculpture has the right to exclude others from publishing images of that sculpture, so long as it still enjoys copyright protection. While it is true that some of the sculptures in question here are located in countries whose copyright regime conflicts with the U.S’s regime, current U.S. conflict of law principles indicate that U.S. copyright law would apply in evaluating the scope of a copyright holder’s rights.

WMF strongly supports a change in U.S. copyright law that would extend freedom of panorama to artwork so that more people can experience beautiful and thought-provoking works of art that they would not otherwise be able to enjoy. However, WMF is a U.S.-based organization that must comply with U.S. laws as they presently exist, including U.S. copyright law, conflict of law principles, and the DMCA.

What can you do?[edit]

If you want to express your support for the extension of freedom of panorama to works of art (and you are a resident of the United States), you can write your U.S. senators and/or representative.

If you feel that this particular image does not infringe the alleged copyright holder’s rights, you can contest the takedown notice by submitting a “counter-notice” to us. Before doing so, you should understand your legal position and you may wish to consult with an attorney. If you submit a counter-notice, the alleged copyright holder can stop us from restoring the content by suing you. Please note that WMF will not be a party to any legal action that arises from you sending a counter-notice, and that WMF is unable to provide you with legal advice.

If you choose to submit a counter-notice, you must send a letter to legal@wikimedia.org asking WMF to restore this image. The letter must comply with DMCA standards and must contain the following:

Hallo Joergens.mi, alle Bilder, die das Template oben genannte in der Beschreibung Expression error: Unrecognised word "die". an. Kannst du mir helfen das Problem zu lösen? Beim Template:Gartenlaube (1865) scheint es zu gehen. PS: Ist es ok, Bildern aus der Gartenlaube weitere Kategorien hinzuzufügen, die nicht über das Template kommen? Das das Template spinnt, kann ich leider nicht reparieren. Als ich die Templates angelegt habe, hatten sie alle funktioniert und dann fing einer am Template rumzupfuschen, baute eine Übersetzung Garden Arbor (vollkommener Schwachsinn) und sorget auch irgendwie für den Fehler. Wenn du das reparieren kannst wäre ich dankbar. Es sind auch noch andere Bände davon betroffen. Erweitern um weitere Kategorien sind immer ok. Die Bilder bitte nicht drehen. Wir legen die Originalbuchseiten ab und extrahieren daraus die Bilder, dieser werden dann gephotoshopped und unter einem eigenen Namen eingestellt. Hallo Joergens.mi, ich habe gesehen, dass es im Prinzip um folgendes Problem geht: Als du das Template angelegt hast, dachtest du es so zu verwenden: {{Gartenlaube (1866)|001|003}} und dir den Rest (vorige und nächste Seite) selber zu generieren, was ja durch die rein numerischen Parameter einfach war. Allerdings kam dann das Problem mit den "p003" Seiten, also denen die dem eigentlichen Text vorgelagert sind. Deshalb hast du das Template umgebaut, in der Form wie es heute da ist: {{Gartenlaube (1866)|Die Gartenlaube (1866) p 001.jpg|Die Gartenlaube (1866) p 004.jpg}} Das hat den Vorteil, dass man mit den p-Seiten besser (manuell) umgehen kann. Der Nachteil ist es aber, dass man auf die Seitenzahl nicht mehr so einfach zugreifen kann, da sie im String "Die Gartenlaube (1866) p 001.jpg" versteckt ist. Dafür muss aber das Template anders aussehen als du es hier, eingefügt hast. Ich kann das gerne versuchen es anzupassen, um die Beschreibung zu erzeugen. Allerdings muss dann klar sein, dass wir bei dem neueren Template mit den kompletten Dateinamen bleiben. Ist das jetzt verwendete dir oder aus einer anderen Quelle? Als erstes vielen Dank für die Analyse des Problems. Jetzt zur Antwort, die jetzige Form mit dem kompletten Namen bleibt. Begründung, solche Voluminas werden über den Nutzer GerWsUpload mit dem Commonisten hochgeladen. Leider gab es vor einiger Zeit eine inkompatible Änderung für den Commonisten (verursacht durch die Änderung des Logins), so daß wir den Upload mit diesem Tool anders gestalten mussten, daher jetzt der gesammte Dateiname, allerdings hat sich das im Nachhinein als Vorteil herausgestellt, so daß wir jetzt im Moment zufrieden sind. Die Korrelation zu dieser Änderung ist mir allerdings nicht aufgefallen. Mit der alten Variante hatten wir übrigens mit den Vorseiten auch keine Probleme, da wir die Seitennummern inclusiv Prefix übermittelt haben.

Wenn du es fixen könntest, wäre ich die dankbar. Achte hierauf, es werden 2 Navibar's genutzt, jetzt nur noch die neue Form BookNaviBar2

Hi, das Extrahieren der Seitenzahl aus dem Dateinamen gestaltet sich etwas schwierig, da die nötigen Stringfunktionen noch nicht vollständig von Mediawiki unterstützt werden. Außerdem ist man darauf angewiesen, daß sich die Dateinamenstruktur nicht ändert. Was ich bei deiner Erläuterung zu den Problemen beim Hochladen nicht verstehe, ist, warum es von Vorteil ist die kompletten Dateinnamen im Beschreibungstemplate der Dateien zu verwenden. Meiner Meinung nach ist der andere Weg einfacher. Oder wird dieser Eintrag automatisch beim Upload generiert? Aber selbst dann könnte man doch mit einem Botlauf die Sache nachträglich ändern. Die Namensstruktur ist fest vorgegeben, es sind die Zahlen vor dem Punkt. Der andere Weg war einfacher aber nicht so flexibel. Zum einen gab es ab und zu Probleme mit der Extension jpg JPG png die im Block sich änderte, zum anderen haben wir beu anderen Werken eine andere Zählung, da geht es in zweier Schritten weiter (Blattzählung) oder in Lateinisch. All diese Dinge lassen sich allgemeiener Lösen wenn der gesammte Dateinamen mit dem Commonistn hochgeladen wird. Und keine Hektik --Jörgens.Mi ^Talk 14:21, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

Dazu müsste ich den kennen. Bitte setze die GFDL umgehend wieder ein, du kannst den so lizensierten Bildern nicht einfach die GFDL-Lizenz entziehen. Dies ist rechtlich nicht möglich, auch wenn die CC-Lizenz vielleicht leichter zu handhaben ist für Verwerter. Eine Umlizensierung ist nur bei einigen Lizenzformen möglich wenn eine Einschränkung fallengelassen wird z.B. von cc-by-sa-3.0 auf cc-by-3.0 (aber nicht andersherum). Wenn Du neue Bilder nur noch unter CC lizensieren willst dann erstelle dafür doch bitte eine neue Lizenzvorlage. Oder besser, nutze einfach die Standardlizenzvorlagen bei Bildern und nutze die obige Vorlage nur noch für Credits (Änderungen bei Bildern mittels Botlauf möglich). --Denniss (talk) 11:58, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Lesen: Alle Texte der Wikipedia sowie die Texte der meisten Schwesterprojekte der Wikipedia stehen unter der GNU-Lizenz für freie Dokumentationen. Aufgrund von Problemen mit der GFDL sowie der großen Verbreitung der später erschienenen Creative-Commons-Lizenzen gab es von vielen Benutzern den Wunsch, auf die der GFDL ähnliche Creative-Commons-Lizenz CC-BY-SA umzusteigen. Da dies jedoch nur mit Zustimmung aller Autoren ginge, einigten sich die Wikimedia Foundation, Creative Commons und die FSF darauf, einen Lizenzwechsel über einen Umweg zu ermöglichen. Dafür wurde am 3. November 2008 die neue Version 1.3 der GFDL veröffentlicht, welche eine projektweite Migration zu CC-BY-SA ohne ausdrückliche Zustimmung der Autoren ermöglichen soll. Da die Dokumente in den Projekten immer mit der Klausel Version 1.2 oder später lizenziert sind, sei ein Umstieg von GFDL 1.2 zu GFDL 1.3 und damit wiederum ein Umstieg auf CC-BY-SA 3.0 möglich, ohne alle Autoren um Zustimmung nachfragen zu müssen.

Fehlende Seiten in Busch Gesamtausgabe in vier Bänden[edit]

Hallo, ich wollte mal vorsichtig nachfragen, ob es dir bekannt ist, daß in dem scan einige Seiten zu fehlen scheinen, beziehungsweise ob es dafür Gründe gibt, etwa fehlen bei der frommen Helene (Band 2, 201ff) einige Seiten. es wäre gut, wenn die Datei ein Lemma bekommt, das andeutungsweise den Originaltitel der Karte enthält.
"Nobilis Saxoniae fl. Visurgis cum Terris adjacentib. ab incluta Brema ad ostium Maris"
bedeutet "Sachsens Weserfluss mit angrenzenden Ländern von einschließlich Bremen bis zur Meeresmündung". "Nobilis" ("bekannt", "edel") kann sich sowohl auf Saxoniae als auch auf fl(uvius) Visurgis beziehen.
Mein Vorschlag für einen treffenden Dateinamen ist [[File:Unterweser_Jadebusen_17.Jh.jpg]]. Inzwischen kann man ja Grafikdateien verschieben lassen, wenn man einen triftigen Grund hat (Klick auf das flache Dreieck zwischen "watch"-Stern und Suchfeld).

Yes, somebody thought, he could improve the template and changed something (some long time ago) and other changes followed. That causes sometimes some side effects. I'm not able to fix the problem. Nochmal ich. Diese Datei File:De Savigny 43 Titel.jpg braucht auch eine Quelle. Frage: Soll ich, falls ich ueber andere Dateien stolpern sollte, einfach die Datei per automatischem Script markieren? Das koennte ggf. zu einer Flut werden und ich will hier ja auch nicht rausgeschmissen werden.

Wiki Loves Monuments 2014 startet in Kürze[edit]

Hallo Joergens.mi,

in Kürze ist es wieder soweit. Der nun schon traditionelle Fotowettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments wird im September zum vierten Mal stattfinden. In ähnlicher Form hatte unlängst der Wettbewerb "Wiki Loves Earth" eine erfolgreiche Premiere. Zu allen bisherigen vier Wettbewerben haben seit 2011 gut 3000 unterschiedliche Teilnehmer (User) ihren Beitrag geleistet. Du warst dabei, und bist auch herzlich eingeladen, am bevorstehenden WLM-Wettbewerb wieder dabei zu sein.

Allein in Deutschland wurden in den letzten drei Jahren im Rahmen von WLM rund 100.000 Fotos zu den insgesamt ca. 850.000 Kulturdenkmalen bundesweit hochgeladen. Jährlich haben sich mehrere Hundert Wiki-Fotographen daran beteiligt. Auch im kommenden Denkmalmonat wird dies gewiss wieder der Fall sein. Der Tag des offenen Denkmals am 14. September bietet bundesweit vielfältige Möglichkeiten, Denkmale nicht nur von außen, sondern auch von innen zu fotografieren. Denkmallisten sind dabei ein wichtiger Orientierungspunkt und zugleich auch Ziel der Einbindung der Fotos. Auch in diesem Jahr sind wieder neue Denkmallisten hinzugekommen, die hilfreich bei der Planung von individuellen oder Gruppen-Fototouren sind und auf eine Bebilderung warten, wie z.B. zu Görlitz oder Zittau. Unter den Landeshauptstädten fehlt nur noch Stuttgart. Aber auch hier ist Licht in Sicht.

In der Mitte Deutschlands hat die Denkmallandschaft der thüringischen Landeshauptstadt Erfurt nun das Licht der Wikipedia-Welt entdeckt. Mehr als 50 Tabellen enthalten 3.700 Denkmale. Allein die wunderschön restaurierte Altstadt umfasst 1.800 Denkmale. Eine von WMDE geförderte WLM-Fototour nach Erfurt am Wochenende vom 29. – 31. August lädt herzlich ein, diese einzigartige Kulturlandschaft zu dokumentieren. Mehr Informationen findest Du auf der Projektseite.

Hallo Joergens.mi, du hast vermutlich versehentlich deine Urlaubsbilder aus Schleswig-Holstein alle zur Teilnahme an WLM 2014 angemeldet. Zumindest haben sie den tag: Category:Images from Wiki Loves Monuments 2014, DE-SH. Ich hab nicht alle kontrolliert, aber zumindest File:Schachtdeckel (Heide) jm20860.jpg, File:Eidersperrwerk jm21138.jpg, File:St. Peter Ording Bad jm21857.jpg und File:Wesselburen jm21067.jpg sind bestimmt keine Kulturdenkmale. Heißt das, dass man den Bildern zwei ellenlange Kategorien verpassen muss, damit sie am Wettbewerb teilnehmen, Normalerweise geht man doch davon aus, das eines davon reichen sollte. Dann sollte das aber auf der Beschreibung deutlicher angesprochen werden. Ich ging davon aus, da da nichts zu stand dass ich wenn ich die passenden Unetrkategorie setze, natürlich alles den Baum hinauf dazugehören würde.

Pass mal auf nightflyer, dies ist nicht der richtige Ton, den verbitt ich mir.

Bring den Nachweis das die Hebbel Statue vor dem Hebbelhaus nicht zu dem Kulturdenkmal gehört (Zitat: "dem Themenschwerpunkt rund um Kultur- und Baudenkmäler,"), somit sind Detailamsichten zulässig. Meine Zeit ist begrenzt mein Urlaub - den ich dafür genutzt habe in Noddeutschland Bilder für die Wikipedia zu machen - ist vorbei und wenn ich Zeit habe, nutze ich diese auch sinnvoll, unter anderem für die Wikipedia. Und ist das Eidersperrwerk nicht als Industriedenkmal eingetragen?

Sorry, liegt nicht an mir, beschwer dich bei der WMF: Catscan läuft seit gestern abend nicht mehr. Sollen die ihren Server am Laufen halten.

Du verwechselst irgendwie Kulturdenkmal mit Kunst im öffentlichen Raum. Eine Liste der Kulturdenkmale in Schleswig-Holstein ist in der Wikipedia verlinkt. => Direktlink.

Zeig mir, wo das Eidersperrwerk als Industriedenkmal eingetragen ist. Hier jedenfalls nicht, wäre aber auch nicht Wettbewerbsziel.

Ich selbst arbeite gerade an einer Liste der Ehrenmal im Kreis Steinburg, davon ist keines ein Kulturdenkmal und damit nicht im Wettbewerb.

Wiki Loves Monuments 2014 - Ein Wiki-Beitrag für die Denkmaltopographie[edit]

Hallo Joergens.mi,

vor zehn Tagen endete der vierte Fotowettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments. Du hast daran aktiv teilgenommen und wir möchten Dir dafür herzlich danken.

Mit mehr als 35 Tausend Fotos hat Deutschland wie in den Vorjahren ein gutes Ergebnis erreicht und einen Anteil von 14 % an diesem internationalen Projekt erbracht, an dem sich 40 Länder beteiligten. Sehr erfreulich ist die hohe Zahl an 651 Teilnehmern allein in Deutschland. Schon zum Abschluss des Wettbewerbs waren rund 6000 Fotos (=17 %) in Listen und Artikel eingebunden. Einen detaillierten Überblick zu den Fotos, den Bundesländern und Teilnehmern findest du auf unserer WLM-Projektseite.

Die deutsche Jury hat nun die eingereichten Beiträge übernommen und ist gegenwärtig dabei, diesen wertvollen Fotobestand zu den Kulturdenkmalen zu sichten. Am nächsten Wochenende wird in Hamburg die entscheidende Jury-Sitzung stattfinden. Wir wünschen auch Dir mit Deinem Foto-Beitrag dabei viel Glück und Erfolg. Du darfst gespannt sein und all Deine Freunde bitten, Dir die Daumen zu drücken.

Die preisgekrönten 100 Gewinner-Fotos werden in der Woche ab dem 20. Oktober veröffentlicht. Auf dieser Grundlage wird auch in diesem Jahr ein Kalender-Poster für 2015 gedruckt werden.

Auf zwei Möglichkeiten einer weiteren aktiven Mitwirkung an unserem Denkmal-Projekt möchten wir bei dieser Gelegenheit hinweisen bzw. Dich dazu einladen:

Unsere Freunde in Österreich haben mit einem gerade gestarteten Denkmal-Cup das Editieren von Denkmallisten und Denkmalartikeln in den Focus gerückt. Bis Ende des Jahres kannst Du Punkte sammeln und Preise gewinnen. Dabei geht es mit diesem Wettbewerb nicht nur um Kulturdenkmale in AT oder D, sondern generell um Denkmale in der deutschsprachigen Wikipedia, als offen für alle Länder.

Vom 6.-8. November findet erneut die Europäische Denkmalmesse in Leipzig statt. Mit Unterstützung von Wikimedia Deutschland e.V. werden wir zum zweiten Mal die Ergebnisse von Wiki Loves Monuments im Rahmen eines Standes sowie eines Workshops vorstellen.

WLM-Aktivisten sind herzlich eingeladen, bei der Betreuung des Messestandes sowie in den Gesprächen über Möglichkeiten einer partnerschaftlichen Zusammenarbeit mit den Denkmalbehörden mitzuwirken. Die Reisekosten übernimmt für 8-10 registrierte Standbetreuer WMDE. Es muss nicht der gesamte Messezeitraum sein, auch eine Mitwirkung an 2 Tagen hilft uns, den Beitrag der Wikipedia für die Denkmaltopographie sichtbar zu machen.

Template:De Ortslexikon (Neumann)[edit]

Hi. Can you help us here please...

According to the template the author is Wilhelm Keil. As far as I can tell he lived in 1870 to 1968. But the name of the lexikon is "Neumann" and according to different places found on Google the main author was Gustav Julius Neumann 1888 to ???

So to make this right we should add both persons as author?

And if Wilhelm Keil died in 1968 it is not yet 70 years as the license on the template says?

File:De_Ortslexikon_(Neumann)_0003.jpg this is revision 3 (rework, enhanced and enlarged) of this book - the first revision was done by Gustav Neumann. This 3rd revision has been done by Wilhelm Keil.

This is a different person to de:Wilhelm_Keil, sorry there is no en Artikel available. The DNB dosn't list this book in its complete catalog Wilhlem Keil at dnb en:German_National_Library.

That your Wilhelm Keil is found so often is quite clear, because he was an well politician in Germany, who has seen both world wars but he has no relation to geography at that time he works as a wood turner in south west Germany near Mannheim.

Therefore the Author is unknown at the moment, the book published before 1923 and therefore in the public domain.

Kalender-Poster für 2015 mit den Gewinner-Fotos von Wiki Loves Monuments 2014[edit]

Hallo Joergens.mi,

auch in diesem Jahr gibt es dank der Förderung durch WMDE einen WLM-Kalender im Format A1 mit den Gewinner-Fotos. Insgesamt sind es mit den Nachrücker-Fotos sogar 132 Bilder von Kulturdenkmalen in Deutschland, die durch 64 WLM-Teilnehmer hochgeladen wurden. Sicherlich wirst du darin schnell Dein(e) Foto(s) entdecken.

Mit der Vergabe der 100 Preise – es gibt in diesem Jahr max. 3 Preise pro Gewinner, woraus die Nachrücker resultieren – kann jeder Preisträger auch ein oder mehrere dieser gedruckten Poster bekommen. Es wäre schön, wenn du einige Poster auch an Wikipedianer Deiner Region oder Freunde verteilst und ihnen dabei auch den Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments erklärst, an dem auch sie 2015 teilnehmen können.

Dieses Poster wird sowohl auf der Leipziger Denkmalmesse (6.–8.11.) als auch auf der Mitgliederversammlung von WMDE am 29.11. in Berlin erhältlich sein.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch zur erfolgreichen Teilnahme an WLM-2014[edit]

Hallo Joergens.mi,

auf der gerade zu Ende gegangenen Europäischen Denkmal-Messe in Leipzig konnten wir sehr erfolgreich die Ergebnisse unseres vierten Fotowettbewerbs „Wiki Loves Monuments“ einem breiten Publikum und der Fachwelt vorstellen. Impressionen findest du hier. Dazu gehörten auch die Gewinnerfotos für Deutschland. Zu dem darin eingeschlossenen Wettbewerbsbeitrag von Dir möchten wir Dich herzlich beglückwünschen.

Die Jury hat bekanntlich Ende Oktober die Preisträger auf der Grundlage eines Rating-Verfahrens ermittelt und ging in diesem Jahr davon aus, die Zahl der Preise auf 3 pro Teilnehmer zu begrenzen. Insgesamt wurden 100 Preise durch WMDE gestiftet. Durch das Nachrücken ergaben sich insgesamt 132 Bilder, die auch auf dem diesjährigen WLM-Kalender für 2015 dargestellt sind. Diese wurden durch 64 Preisträger eingebracht. Im Rahmen der Denkmalmesse konnten wir bereits die ersten 11 Bildpreise und 2 Fleißpreise an vier Projektteilnehmer überreichen.

Bis Ende November werden auch die Urkunden und Preise (Büchergutscheine) für die anderen Preisträger in der Geschäftsstelle von WMDE vorbereitet; ebenso der Versand der WLM-Posterkalender, sofern du Deine Wünsche per mail übermittelt hast. Anfang Dezember und damit rechtzeitig zum Weihnachtsfest wirst du also alles erhalten.

Es würde uns sehr freuen, wenn du auch im kommenden Jahr aktiv bei WLM wieder dabei bist.

Der WLM-Countdown hat begonnen[edit]

Hallo Joergens.mi,

nun ist es wieder soweit. Vom 1. bis zum 30. September findet zum fünften Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments statt. Im Mittelpunkt steht bekanntlich das Fotografieren von Kulturdenkmalen. Du hast an einem der letzten Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen und wir freuen uns auf weitere Bildbeiträge von Dir.

Viele interessante Motive, nicht nur Burgen und Schlösser, sondern auch Fachwerkhäuser, Brücken und Brunnen, technische und Industriedenkmale und vieles mehr gibt es noch zu fotografieren, damit sie in der Wikipedia dokumentiert werden können. Nützliche Tipps findest du auf unserer WLM-Projektseite. Du kannst gerne individuell Fototouren durchführen oder aber Dich auch Gruppentouren anschließen. Besonders freuen wir uns auf Fotos, die Lücken in den Denkmallisten der Wikipedia ausfüllen.

Darüber hinaus kannst Du auch an der Arbeit der Jury teilnehmen, die Mitte Oktober die Fotos bewerten und die Gewinner ermitteln wird. Bis zum 15. August kannst du hier Deine Bewerbung einreichen.

Hallo Joergens, sei mir nicht böse, ich habe einige Deiner User-Cats entfernt, die direkt im User-Bereich auftauchen. Mir scheint es sinnvoll, die Kategorien die Monate betreffend, den entsprechenden Jahren zuzuordnen. Meinst Du nicht auch? Für 2015 habe ich es nun vervollständigt. Du wolltest doch auch die leere Cat von 2006 (?) nicht mehr nachträglich mit Dateien füllen?) Da sie leer ist habe ich SD gestellt. Wenn ich alles falsch gemacht habe, erkläre es mir bitte. Hi Tommes, es wäre toll gewesen, wenn du die entfernten Kategorien hier aufgeführt hättest. Ich hoffe eingentlich das es sich um Typos handelt. Wenn ich es jetzt richtig sehe, hast du aus meiner Sicht richtig Blödsinn gemacht. user categories soll dann gesetzt werden wenn sich nicht im Kat-System zu sehen sein sollen (hidden cat)- also für Ordnungsvorgänge des users. Man könnte es schon fast als Vandalismus betrachten.

Bei der nächsten größeren Aktion könnte es sich lohnen vorher Kontakt aufzunehmen.

Ich haber schon gemerkt, daß das sehr weitreichend ist, was ich tat. Nur, imho sollte jeder Benutzer lediglich eine Benutzerkategorie verwenden. Darunter kann jeder sortieren wie er will und so breit er will

Ursprung: Um einen User zu finden, klickt man auf den Anfangsbuchstanben und sieht z.B. alle mit Jo..., wobei User, die das so habndhaben wie Du, gleich mehrere Spalten belegen und man derentwegen weiter blättern muß als nötig. Was ist für Dich (und andere natürlich) das Störende, alle Dateien in Unterkats zu seiner eigenen User-Cat zu finden? Warum brauchst Du User:..2009-01, ..-02, ..-03 statt User:..2009/2009-01, -02 und so weiter? Für mich ist das dasselbe, als würde man in der de-wp mehrere Benutzernamen wie joergens.1, joergens.2, usw. anlegen, um "einfacher" zu sortieren, was aber leicht möglich ist.

Ergänzung: Natürlich sind die Unterkategorien einer "hidden category" auch versteckt, wie du sicher weißt. --Tommes 12:42, 19 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

He Herzi Pinki, ich kann nur vermuten, was Du meinst. Mal nachgesehen:

Ich sprach eigentlich nur von Kategorien, nicht von Dateien, da habe ich mich vielleicht auch "verdacht".

Der Lösung aber könnte uns folgender Hinweis aus Category:User categories näher bringen: "Um Seiten zu dieser Kategorie hinzuzufügen benutze {{User category|Benutzername}} (das fügt auch hinzu) auf der neuen Kategorieseite. Unterkategorien mit {{User category|cat=Unterkategorie}}.

Also nicht Category:Photos of Austria by User:jorgeroyan, sondern {{User category|cat=Photos of Austria by User:jorgeroyan}}?

Ich selbst mehre da nicht mehr rum, ich überlege noch, wie ich mir solche Kats organisiere, ich bin da noch nicht ganz durchgestiegen.

Jetzt habe ich viel geschrieben - wir sollten das vielleicht anderswo oder per Mail fortsetzen - kannst Du mir ein Frage beantworten? Category:Apple cultivars als direkte Elternkategorie.

Welche der beiden Kategorien sollte gelöscht werden? Ich persönlich würde gerne das ganze Bilderset von Alte Apfelsorten erhalten (also lieber Category:Apple cultivars gelöscht wissen), aber ist dieser deutschsprachige Kategoriename wirklich i.O.? Das Category: Alte Apfelsorten dient eigentlich genau dazu das Ensemble zusammenzuhalten, sie wurden alle an einem Nachmittag gemacht, leider sind die Bilder von 10 Sorten nichts geworden. Das interessante daran das ist, das ist alles von einem Obsthof in Baden, der sammelt die.

Da ich die wissenschaftlichen Namen der Sorten nicht kenne - bin kein Biologe, geschweige denn Pommologe - ist es eigentlich sinnvoll die Sorten unter "Apple cultivars" einzusortieren, damit jemand der das Zuordnen kann und "Apple cultivars" durch die richtige cat ersetzen kann.

Blauer Herbst[edit]

Hallo Joergens.mi, gerade bin ich auf deine Fotos vom 3. Oktober vom Schauinsland gestoßen. Zwar habe ich aktuell keinen konkreten Bedarf an den Bildern, aber mir fallen die ungewöhnlichen Farben auf. Insbesondere ist wohl bei der Dunstentfernung ein Blaustich reingeraten. Vielleicht ist auch einfach die Pentax-Farbeinstellung "leuchtend" bzw. "hell" schuld, die Farben manchmal unnatürlich übersteigert. Evtl. hast du dann, um den zu bekämpfen, allgemein die Sättigung reduziert? Trotzdem erscheinen mir manche der Bilder in der aktuellen Bearbeitung wenig brauchbar, und ich frage mich, wie man sie noch retten könnte. Vielleicht könntest du einfach eine unbearbeitete Version dazuladen, damit Interessierte eine andere Bearbeitung versuchen können? Deine Kritik ist in einem gewissen Sinne berechtigt. Die Bilder sehen aber so aus wie ich sie im Kopf habe. Ich versuche allerdings durch eine andere Bearbeitung ein dezenteres Ergebnis zu erzielen.

Koblenz, Boppard etc[edit]

Hallo, ich suche eigentlich eine Quelle für mein "Theaterbild" des San Giovanni Grisostomo, weil der Stich von Vioncenzo Coronelli sein soll. Dabei bin ich auf ein Buch von ihm gestoßen, in dem mehrere alte Karten, zum Teil auch Ansichten, auch von Städten in Deutschland drin sind. Leider sind die Karten immer zweiseitig, sonst würde ich das selbst machen. Ich kenne mich aber leider nicht aus mit Bildbearbeitung. Vielleicht kennst du jemanden, der sich dafür interessiert oder bist gar selbst interessiert. Dann hier der Link

bei letzteren bin ich gerade dabei die zu sichten und hochzuladen, in der hoffnung, dass bei der kategorisierung und legendierung die italiener draufschauen. es ist allerdings in band 1 auch schon ein alter plan von frankfurt dabei.

Nicht böse sein, ich bin die falsche Adresse, da das Buch in italienisch ist. Ich habe genug zu tun mit der deutschen Wikisource und Wikipedia um da auch noch mitzumischen und ein fremdsprachiges Werk mit 482 Seiten für commons aufzubereiten. Was aber immer geht, wenn du spezielle PLäne daraus brauchst, probiere ich gerne die Bildberarbeitung.

Es lohnt sich dazu die Bilder aus dem Online Text zu nehmen, nicht aus dem pdf, da sind sie nur schwarz weiß. Siehe Bild rechts

If there's a set of apple photos with German text captions, I assume it'd be more useful to the wider project if we cropped all of them. Hi McGeddon, feel free to make a derivate set of the 220 fruits without the names. I'm not a pomologe, and the only chance for me to prove the type of an apple is a picture with the name in the picture, otherwise there will be a lot of discusions, no that's not ... that is... And a lot of them are very similar. see it as a reference, like a reference in an article. And it is easy to derive pictures without the names, and each derivate has a link to the proof of origin with it. Even if you only make the fruits you need, it would be fine. Bilder von Werken des Künstlers Helmut Lutz[edit]

Hallo Joergens.mi, Du hast vor allem gerade am 26. März in Breisach am Rhein eine ganze Reihe von Werken des Künstlers Helmut Lutz fotografiert. Mir scheint es nun so zu sein, dass sich nicht alle diese Werke an öffentlich zugänglichen Plätzen befinden bzw. Du hast keinen Hinweis auf die Panoramfreiheit gegeben. Das ist bei Werken, die noch nicht gemeinfrei sind, aber an sich unerlässlich. Du erhältst diese Nachricht, weil du bei Wiki Loves Monuments 2016 teilgenommen hast.

Auch in diesem Jahr beteiligt sich Deutschland wieder am internationalen Fotowettbewerb rund um Bau- und Kulturdenkmale. Bisher wurden bereits mehr als 18.000 Bilder hochgeladen – und wir würden uns sehr über weitere Bilder von Dir freuen. Noch bis zum 30. September 2016 kannst Du Deine Bilder hochladen. Alles Wissenswerte erfährst du auf der Mitmach-Seite.

Außerdem möchten wir Dich einladen, ab 12. September 2016 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Diese sichtet und bewertet die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelt so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die im Oktober tagt, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Monuments 2016 in Deutschland.

Wie schon mündlich... Du hast mir heute wirklich sehr geholfen, danke dafür. Es hat echt Spaß gemacht und war bereichernd. Als Fotograf hast du nicht einfach nur Flaschen abgewischt, du hast großen Anteil am Gelingen der Fotos. Der Flaschenhelfer am Anfang war ja auch wichtig aber dein Auge hat so manches Bild mitgestaltet. hast was gut bei mir. da nicht für, wie man im Norden so sagt. Ich habe die Gelegenheit genutzt und bei dir intensiv zugeschaut, wie du die Photos gemacht hast und hoffentlich dabei eine Menge gelernt. Auf dein nettes Angebot die Rollen mal umzukehren werde ich vielleicht mal zurückkommen - allerdings bin ich eher der lonely wolf Typ. Es handelt sich um ein denkmalgeschütztes Gebäude, wegen seiner Architektur innen und außen.
Es war eine offizielle Führung des setllv. Schulleiters für Ehemalige (40 Jahre Abitur), der sich freute daß die Schule bebildert wird und auf einzelne Stellen hinwies.

nur falls Du es noch nicht weißt: In dem Buch Auf Luthers Spuren. Orte der Reformation in Baden und Württemberg von Andreas Steidel, Stuttgart: Belser Verlag 2016, ISBN 978-3-7630-2750-7, wird ein Bild von Dir verwendet:

S. 20 (Merian-Stich Schwäbisch Hall)

Im Bildnachweis auf S. 4 wirst Du aufgeführt, allerdings lustigerweise unter „Bildarchive“ und ohne Angabe der Lizenz.

Das Buch ist tatsächlich großteils aus Bildern von Commons, von ähnlichen Internetdiensten sowie von Fremdenverkehrsvereinen, Kirchengemeinden usw. zusammengestellt. Ich bin nur durch Zufall darauf gestoßen, als ich in dem Buch blätterte: plötzlich lese ich meinen Namen, da ein Bild von mir stammt. Nette Überraschung, aber eigentlich auch schade, da auf der Beschreibungsseite zu jedem meiner Bilder deutlich steht, dass ich bei Verwendungen um eine Nachricht bitte. Hast Du eine entsprechende Benachrichtigung bekommen? Unsere Lizenzen erfordern so etwas zwar nicht, eine Benachrichtigung wäre aber doch nett gewesen (andere Verlage haben bei mir bisher oft sehr höflich und überkorrekt angefragt). Der Belser-Verlag sollte Resourcen genug dafür haben, zumal das Buch offenbar auch noch von den beiden Evang. Landeskirchen sowie dem Land gefördert wurde … jedenfalls prangen auf der Umschlagrückseite die entsprechenden Logos.

@Aristeas: Danke für den Hinweis, bist du im Besitz des Buches?

Sollte es sich um dieses Bild ( https://de.wikisource.org/wiki/Topographia_Sueviae:_Hall ) handeln, ist daran auch kein´Bedarf, denn eigentlich müsste es dann heißen Topographia Sueviae, Merian, Frankfurt am Main 1643, S. 90–92. Denn an Photokopien ( 2 dimensionale Reprophotographie ) gewinnt man keine Rechte und das Original ist schon lange PD.

Eine Nachricht habe ich leider auch nicht bekommen, Aber warscheinlich würde die ganze Auflage in die Belegexemplare gehen --Jörgens.Mi ^Talk 10:13, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
