Important message for file movers[edit]

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

  • To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
  • To perform file name swaps.
  • When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

The malicious or reckless breaking of file links via the suppressredirect user right is considered an abuse of the file mover right and is grounds for immediate revocation of that right. This message serves as both a notice that you have this right and as an official warning. Massen-Upload Linden-Nord[edit]

Hallo Raboe, du hattest gestern >100 Dateien nach Category:Linden-Nord (Hannover) hochgeladen. Im Prinzip gut, aber leider habe ich den Verdacht, dass ein Teil der Fotos nicht in Linden-Nord sondern im Stadtteil Limmer geschossen wurde (westlich vom Westschnellweg) und somit falsch kategorisiert ist, z.B. die Fotos mit den Nummern 078 bis 117. Leider hast du ja weder GPS-Koordinaten noch eine individuelle Beschreibung angegeben. Bitte mache dir die Mühe und prüfe die Kategorien (die Friedhöfe z.B. haben eigene!), und mache idealerweise auch einen Beschreibungstext. Was nützen der Wikipedia Fotos von irgendwelchen Objekten oder Wegen wenn keiner außer dir weiß wo das ist? Schönes WE, -- Gerd Fahrenhorst (talk) 13:12, 22 February 2020 (UTC)

Moin Gerd Fahrenhorst, danke für Deine Infos, ich habe dort einen Fehler gemacht, sie waren in meiner Kat Images by RaBoe uncategorized, von dort suche ich die richten Kats suche, ich war gestern einfach zu müde, ich schiebe sie zurück und schaue sie mir noch mal in Ruhe an und so bald ich wieder Internet habe, schaue ich was ich kenne. Es geht so, wir sind gesund und merken gerade, dass die Trennung von den Enkeln langsam blöd wird. Das der Virus ansteckend ist, dass haben wir durch meinen Vetter erfahren, der hat sich durch seine Frau angesteckt und die sich im Altenheim. Hätten wir nicht gebraucht diesen Virus aus Fernost.

Die beiden hatten Symptome wie bei einer Grippe, sind aber auch mittlerweile wohl wieder genesen. Was einem ganz kirre macht ist, dass jeden Tag irgendein Professor seine Thesen zum Besten gibt. Eine Entwicklung zeigt jedoch, dass die Maßnahmen erfolgreich sind: Der Trend bei den neu gemeldeten Fälle sinkt. Bleib gesund. Gruß aus dem Südwesten. SteveK (talk) 07:21, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
Da bin ich aber froh,
Hier in Hannover ist es die Ruhe vor dem Sturm, es macht mich auch etwas unruhig, deshalb schauen wir nur noch zweimal am Tag Nachrichten, Morgens Welt und Abends heute journal. :)
Was mich allerdings sehr aufregt sind die Leute (beim Einkaufen und Gassi gehen) besonders die älteren Menschen und junge Männer mit anderen kulturellen Wurzeln nehem die Lage nicht ernst, bzw denken nicht dran Abstand zu halten, oder sich nicht an Regeln halten. (Bäcker zwei Personen usw.)
Ja die Zahlen sinken, ich hoffe es wird keinen Pick in 14 Tagen geben weil die Leute über Ostern oft etwas unvernünftig waren.

Wir wohnen ja hier ländlich. Mein Eindruck über Ostern war, dass sich die Leute recht vernünftig verhalten haben. Und das war ja auch der Tenor aus den Großstädten. Und Idioten, die sich nicht an Regeln halten wollen, die gibt es nun mal überall. Wir werden unsern Umgang miteinander ändern müssen (mehr Abstand, weniger Pussies), aber die Wirtschaft auch wieder aufnehmen müssen. Vom Nichtstun können wir auch nicht alle leben. Ein Gruß aus der Selbstisolation[edit]

Ich hoffe es geht dir gut. Ich gehe immer noch raus um zu fotografieren, die Naturdenkmale, Gehöfte, Bäume, Bäche, Seen, Tümpel, Weiher, Brücken, Strommasten in und um Sindelfingen. Wenn man mal von den Waldparkplätzen in der direkten Nähe der Stadt absieht, so ist man weiter drinnen im Wald doch zumeist ziemlich allein und man kann in weitem Bogen aneinander vorbeigehen. Ansonsten bin ich noch ungefähr einmal pro Woche im Supermarkt, mit Liste, so dass ich die kurzestmögliche Zeit drin bin, mit Handschuhen. Dazu noch der Bäcker um die Ecke immer wenn das Brot aus ist. Ich bin seit ungefähr Mitte Februar allen Menschenmassen aus dem Weg gegangen eine meiner letzten Veranstaltungen war das Wikitreffen. Jeden Tag messe ich einmal oder zweimal die Temperatur, konstant 36,7, somit alles ruhig an der Gesundheitsfront. Alles was ich einkaufe wird separat eingetütet: Haltbar / Kühlungsbedürftig. Alles was haltbar ist, bleibt erst mal 24 Stunden in der Tüte stehen, bevor es in den Schrank kommt, alles was da anhaftet ist bis dahin hinüber ode auf einem ungefährlichen Level. Gekühltes bleibt wenn möglich drei Tage im Kühlschrank bevor ich es wieder anfasse. Außer was binnen kurzem auf den Herd kommt, kommt nicht erst in den Kühlschrank. Außerdem nach dem Außenaufenthalt komplett Kleider wechseln und für mindestens 24 Stunden nicht anfassen. Und Hände waschen, sofort beim Heimkommen, nochmal nachdem alles was mitgebracht wurde versorgt ist. Klingt paranoid, aber ich denke Vorsicht ist die Mutter der Porzellankiste. Mein Fotoequipment kriegt auch 24 Stunden Quarantäne bevor ich es wieder in die Hände nehme.

Ende letzter Woche sind jetst auch Stoffmasken im Briefkasten gewesen. Kaufe nur bei Firmen, die schon lange im Geschäft sind, nicht bei irgendjemand auf E-bay oder Amazon. Da lauern derzeit die Krisengewinnler und Betrüger, um dich mit den Preisen übers Ohr zu hauen oder dich um die Ware zu prellen. Wenn du Desinfektionsmittel brauchst, so kannst du Spiritus nehmen 1:1 mit Wodka verdünnen, dann hast du ungefähr 70% Alkohol, das wirkt ausreichend. Es geht auch Isopropanol (2-Propanol/Isopropylalkohol) 70% oder zu Not auch Klosterfrau oder Stroh, beides hat ungefäht 80%. Meine (Kranken-)Schwester sagt, dass für SARS-CoV-2 bereits 60% Alkohol ausreicht. Es reichen auch 60°C um den Erreger zuverlässig abzutöten, man muss nicht alles kochen, außerdem ist Waschmittel schädlich für die Viren. Irgendwelche speziellen Desinfektionswaschmittel brauchst du nicht, solange niemand krank ist. Dieses dann nur um den Kranken vor zusätzlichen Keimen zu schützen und Mehrfachinfektionen mit anderem Zeug auszuschließen, nicht wegen Covid. Für die Klinik braucht man natürlich Händedesinfektion, die auch gegen andere Erreger zuverlässig wirkt, so dass die höher konzentriert sind und noch Wasserstoffperoxid und ein paar andere Sachen drin sind, auch Hautschutz, die nehmen das ja 20 x am Tag.
