    Silly mistake and my foult 2022-08-27 16:00 UTC means 6:00 PM which is 18:00 local time. I was wondering why it should be two hours earlier this time. Next time then. Ermell (talk) 10:17, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • I clicked in a few minutes early and four of us did some chitchat (mostly in German which I don't understand, but what the heck). Proper business started about a quarter after the hour. First presenter, on picture selection for the German kiddie WP, attracted much interest. Unexpectedly, I also learned a thing or two from the techie talk about camera aperture; we don't know what we don't know until we encounter it. Next, it was nice to know what people are up to in the Philippines. As for the various Portuguese speaking countries, wow, I thought copyright law was complex enough with Canada, USA, Britain, France and Germany. Best discussion, for me anyway, was about what's wrong with Commons software and processes. We all bitched and moaned and I was surprised how many bad things I'm lucky enough to be ignorant about. So, maybe we wikiphotographers can work out a good way to agitate for better. Especially if we can agree on which mess is most important. Jim.henderson (talk) 20:29, 27 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
