Hi Mrmariokartguy, You have created a nomination for valued image for an image, which has now been deleted as a copyright violation. Therefore I do not think the nomination makes much sense anymore and I will request the nomination page to be deleted. Furthermore, the valued image project has not yet opened for nominations. The doors are opened at June 1, 2008 at 0:00 (UTC) at which time you are welcome to nominate other images. Cheers, -- Slaunger 22:07, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Copyright violations
[edit]
Hello Mrmariokartguy,
You have uploaded several images that are copyright violations and you have done so despite our requests not to do so, and despite our instructions. If you do not stop uploading pictures that are not free, your account will be blocked. See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons. Please leave me a message if you have further questions. -Nard the Bard 16:39, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

- That means you will not be allowed to edit here. --MichaelMaggs (talk) 16:36, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

Status of candidates in most valued reviews
[edit]Hi Mrmariokartguy,
Would you please stop changing the status of VIC candidates participating in a most valued review from the discussed status into another status like supported and opposed? It is stated quite clearly in the notice on top of the MVR subpage that all open candidates in an MVR should be in the discussed state, it is stated in the nomination procedure, and I have clearly written in the undo comments to your edits that they are supposed to be in the discussed status.
If they are not in the discussed status, the status message below each candidate will be misleading as they will state MVRs can be closed earlier than what the promotion rules state.
Cheers,
-- Slaunger (talk) 06:34, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
Wikimedia Commons has a specific scope
[edit]
Thank you for your contributions. Your image or other content was recently deleted, or will soon be deleted, in accordance with our process and policies, because it was not, or is not, within our scope. Please review our project scope, but in short, Commons is targeted at media files including photographs, diagrams, animations, music, spoken text and video clips. Wikimedia Commons does not contain text articles like encyclopedia articles, textbooks, news, word definitions and such. Each of these other kinds of content have their own projects: Wikipedia, Wikibooks, Wikisource, Wikinews, Wiktionary and Wikiquote.
If the content seems to fit the scope of one of those other projects, please consider contributing it there. If you think that the deletion was in error because the contribution really was in scope, you can appeal it at Commons:Undeletion requests, giving a reason why it fits our scope to help others evaluate the matter. Thank you for your understanding. Kanonkas(talk) 22:24, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Hello, can You specify problem with above linked picture license, please? You've inserted the {{Wrong-license}} template by this edit. It's strange because it is Kili's own photo and (because of nature of the photo) there aren't license problems with the coins. File has been moved from Wikiquote CS as is stated. Keep local files at local projects is generally undesirable. This is common practice. So?
I'm removing it so far, please reinsert it and specify an eventually problem on its talk page. Thanks a lot.

Hi. This image may be out of scope but that's not a speedy deletion reason, unless it's a really obvious case. Also please consider this your warning. Use edit summaries when tagging a file for deletion (it's a good practice to use them everytime you edit). -Nard the Bard 01:36, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
Punnett Squares
[edit]Hey. I noticed your previous Punnett square VI nomination and noticed that you didn't know how to create vector images. i though the VI nomination was a good one, and took the liberty of creating a SVG image of a Punnett square. I hope that's okay. If you would like, I can withdraw the nomination. Pbroks13 (talk) 02:13, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Hi, which software have you used to create your SVG file? --Eusebius (talk) 14:05, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- Inkscape. Mr. Mario (talk) 14:19, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- Which output format have you used? I remember having problems with that, I had to use "simple SVG". Did you do that? Anyway I'll try to have a look at your figure some time. --Eusebius (talk) 14:48, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I'm definitely not an artist, but the letters should be visible now. I don't really know what went wrong. --Eusebius (talk) 18:28, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
I have expanded on the information description on the image page, in accordance with Valued Image criterion 4. Your comments would be appreciated. Elucidate (talk) 10:00, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
