Goodies, tips, and tricks

To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.

Update the map of the department of Chocó in Colombia

Hi Dr. Brains

I want to ask you to help us update the physical map of the department of Chocó.

The northwest tip has a territory called Belén de Bajirá and Blanquicet. These territories were recognized by the Agustín Codazzi Geographic Institute, as part of the department of Chocó.

It is important to highlight that the IGAC is the governmental entity, which generates the official map of the country and its political-administrative divisions. It is also responsible for the cadastre and not recognizing the current status of these territories, puts at risk that whoever searches for information on Wikipedia, obtains arguments to justify any conduct that threatens the proper administration of public resources.
