Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Categories

Please stop adding incorrect categories to images. Individual images should only be catorized to the categories that they actually belong to. - For example "File:Platanus orientalis tree, Thasos.jpg" - that image was taken of a tree in a region of Greece, and as such is categorized in the category for the tree's species and the category for the location where it was photographed. Individual pictures not taken in Pakistan should not be added to a "Pakistan" category. If you want to signify that a species is also native to Pakistan, add the species category, not individual pictures not taken in Pakistan. Another example here: "File:Platanus orientalis by Line1.jpg". That image is already in the location category "Bois de Boulogne", which is in France, Europe. Therefore, this image does not belong into a Pakistan category. Individual images are to be categorized to their actual location, but the species category can be categorized instead. -Winterkind (talk) 17:36, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

Each of these other kinds of content have their own projects: Wikipedia, Wikibooks, Wikisource, Wikinews, Wiktionary and Wikiquote. If the content seems to fit the scope of one of those other projects, please consider contributing it there. Otherwise, consider an alternative outlet. If you think that the deletion was in error because the contribution really was in scope, you can appeal it at Commons:Undeletion requests, giving a reason why it fits our scope to help others evaluate the matter.
