Description
Svenska: Sidhänvisningar är om inte annat anges till Gustaf II Adolf vid Lützen. Hästhud med man och hovar monterad på trästomme, gjord i sex delar - huvud, hals och kropp samt fyra ben. Delarna sammanfogade med tappar, fastlåsta med tränaglar sid. 133). Monteringen enligt dressyrskolornas uppfattning av en korrekt uppställd häst (sid. 136). Hästhuden bereddes i Wolgast våren 1633 (sid. 134 not 2, kvitton 12 april-5 maj). Hästen följde med i sorgetåget genom Tyskland till Wolgast, två kvitton, ett utställt för en David hovsmed och ett för en viss Kasten Meyener visar att den dött i Wolgast och att huden tillvaratagits (sid.72, Wolgasträkenskaperna, verifikation 1031-1032). Hästens namn omnämns första gången av ett ögonvittne till GIIA:s lit de parade i Spandau den 16 dec. 1632, "Das Pferd darauf Ihr Maj. geschossen worden, welches man den Streefen genandt". (sid. 71). Hästen såldes till kungen för 1000 Rdr Specie av kavalleriöversten Johann Streiff von Lauenstein enligt ett kvitto skrivet i Elbing 14/24 november 1631 (se Danielsson sid. 217). Beskrivning av Raimondo Montecuccoli 1654-03-28:
"Das Pferd hat einen hübschen Kopf und war vom starker, der oldenburgischen ähnlichen Rasse". Beskrivning 1768 (sid.134):
"på långt håll synes denna fordna rödbruna wälwäxte Klipparen icke wara stor, men håller dock Ryttarmål" (Den Svenska Fatburen IV, 16/9 1768, Stockholm 1768).
