Allow overwriting of File:Prokaryote_cell.svg

In the Japanese environment, the text contained in this SVG image is ugly because the font family is not specified correctly. I solved this by changing the font from FreeSans to Noto Sans CJK JP, and I would like to overwrite the existing file. I would also say that this is not okay as it could affect other languages. If there is a switch in the SVG to only use the new font in the Japanese version it should be fine to overwrite the file. GPSLeo (talk) 17:30, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Abzeronow : Thank you for your consideration. I would like to add an explanation. This SVG already contains fonts and text for two languages, Internatinal (=English) and Japanese. Allow overwriting of File:Flag of Mifune, Kumamoto.svg

I want to overwrite File:Flag of Mifune, Kumamoto.svg, because I recreated the vector file using the JPG version of the file as a reference. The recreated vector file has sharp corners, similar to the JPG version, and I'd like to have the recreated file to be in place of the original SVG file by User:SpinnerLazerthe2rd which has imperfectly rounded corners that make the file look a bit ugly and unrealistic.

I'm not criticizing SpinnerLazerthe2rd and/or the user's creative abilities, because the vector version of the file wouldn't be possible without him. Also, I'd like to deeply apologize to SpinnerLazerthe2rd for harassing and fighting with him/her/them over the SVG file. Besides that, no hate to anyone. Going off United States Congressional Elections, 1788-1997: The Official Results of the Elections of the 1st Through 105th Congresses, which is the source used for most the article, PA-7 should be a Democratic gain not a Republican hold and there was no election held election in Kansas. I would like to update the map to reflect recent changes, including a new line, tracks across a new bridge and temporary closures of two branches (which will probably last for several years). These images are still correct, but these two images need to be update in order to match the on-screen logo seen in that newscast. If you looks the opening closely seen at Newscaststudio, the letter "G" looks more thinner. It also seen at Logopedia page, in which its logo match 2023 NBC Nightly News on-screen logo seen at lower third. I believe there's no discussion regarding overwriting the file before.
