Goodies, tips, and tricks

To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.

Hey Lotje. I am not certain why argument two, which you linked above, applies. I may be missing something here, but I'm quite certain that the given name is OK. The only possible change I can imagine is changing the name to the address of the building. Would you mind giving some clarification as to why the image should be renamed and preferably also mention what you think it should be named to?

Je mag Nederlands praten hoor Wauteurz

. kan dit klaarheid scheppen? De beschrijving bij de afbeelding Former city hall and school of Ambt Doetinchem. Housed a church until late 2016. Doetinchem, the Netherlands is nogal onduidelijk. in het lemma staat gevestigd op Varsseveldseweg 106, en doet vandaag de dag dienst als kerk niet meer van toepassing dus (btw. waartoe doet het gebouw nu dienst?) Er bestaat op de nl.wikipedia bij mijn weten geen {{update}} sjabloon. Vandaar dus. Maar je heb inderdaad gelijk, het correcte adres en een beschrijving bij de afbeelding, aan te passen indien wijzigingen zich voordoen, lijkt zeer logisch en kan ook naar de toekomst toe soelaas brengen bij een immer bewegende samenleving. Bij deze is de beschrijving aangepast (en ik heb meteen een Nederlandse versie toegevoegd) [1]. Ik heb een verzoek ingedient de afbeelding te verplaatsen naar Varsseveldseweg-106 Gemeentehuis Ambt Doetinchem.jpg, gezien ik verdenk dat men zowel op adres als op functie van het gebouw zal zoeken. Ik geloof dat hiermee alle problemen/struggles met de oude beschrijving en naam zijn opgelost, Lotje?

@Lotje: Ik kom nu tot de conclusie dat ik iets beter moet gaan lezen. Je opmerking over het huisnummer merk ik nu pas op. Hoe dan ook, ik heb gisteren als reactie op de page move van de originele afbeelding twee nieuwe afbeeldingen die wel van het voormalige gemeentehuis zijn geüpload ([2] [3]). Alsnog bedankt voor de heads-up :)

@Wauteurz: je nieuwe oploads vind ik eersteklasse! Wat betreft je opmerking over dat beter gaan lezen, vergissingen zijn menselijk, daar is niets mis mee, zolang de bedoelingen maar goed zijn. En iemand die niets doet, kan niets fout doen zeg ik steeds.

Beschrijving bij afbeelding[edit]

@Wauteurz: ik zou graag de tekst thumb|Engraving of Philip the Good as depicted in ....... by Emanuel van Meteren (Peace Palace Library) in het lemma Emanuel van Meteren. Weet jij misschien wat de correcte titel is, ook hier lijkt eierenlopen geblazen. Lotje 07:30, 23 February 2017 (UTC)

@Lotje: Voor zover ik kan zien is bij de afbeelding het volgende als bron vermeld:

"Emanvels van Meteren Historie der Neder-landscher ende haerder na-buren oorlogen ende geschiedenissen, tot den iare M.VIC.XII. : nu de laestemael bĳ hem voor sĳne doodt merckelĳck verbetert en̄ in XXXII boecken voltrocken, is mede hier by gevoegt des autheurs leven. Verrijckt beneffens de land-caerte met by na hondert correcte conterfeijtsels vande voor treflijcste personagien in dese historie verhaelt alle cierlijck na d'leven ghedaen ende in coperen platen gesteken gedruckt int jaer ons Heeren. M.DC.XIV"

Mijn kennis van Middel(?)-Nederlands is matig, maar dit zal vertalen naar iets in de richting van

"Emanuel van Meterens' Historie der oorlogen en geschiedenissen van Nederland en haar buren tot de jaren M.VIC.XII¹: Nu (uit)eindelijk voor zijn [Mertens'] dood verbeterd en in 32 boeken voltrokken, is hier mede aan toegevoegd de auteur zijn levensloop. Verder verrijkt met landkaart en bijna honderd correcte kopieën² van de belangrijkste personages (die) in deze historie rijkelijk beschreven (zijn)³. Gedrukt in (het jaar onze heren) 1614."

Moet zijn: M. VI. C XII; Dit spelt: Duizend. Zes. Honderd. Twaalf (1612). Zie [4]
conterfeijtsels lijkt in mijn ogen op het Engelse counterfeits. Gezien er sprake is van correcte conterfeijtsels ga ik er van uit dat dit te interpreteren valt als kopieën.
Ik zou niet weten wat na d'leven ghedaen ende in coperen platen gesteken zou moeten betekenen. Ik zou het vertalen als na diens leven gedaan [=overlijden?] en in koperen platen gestoken [kan verwijzen naar de overledene (met pracht en praal ten onder gegaan/begraven/etc.) of het boek (verstevigde koperen omslag of iets dergelijks)].

Het naslagwerk van Emanuel van Meteren dat deze omschrijving het meest gelijkt is het negende werk dat hier vermeld staat: Emanuels van Meteren historie der Neder-landscher ende haerder na-buren oorlogen ende geschiedenissen [...] of verkort: Historie der Nederlandscher ende haerder naburen oorlogen ende geschiedenissen.

Hopelijk is dit zo ongeveer wat je nodig had

Utrechts Archief[edit]

Hallo Wauteurz,

Ik zag dat je een aantal afbeeldingen van het Utrechts Archief hebt geüpload, leuk! Wel vroeg ik me af waar je had gevonden dat die CC-Zero zijn? Op hun website lees ik dit, daar staat geen expliciete licentie en dat lijkt meer naar een CC-BY-SA te wijzen.

@Basvb: Ik ben zeker niet de beste als het aankomt op auteursrecht en ik kan me daarom prima voorstellen dat CC-Zero niet terecht is. Ik betwijffel of de juiste licentie een CC-BY-SA of een CC-BY moet zijn, gezien er niet expliciet iets staat vermeld op de website van het Utrechts Archief over wijziging van beeldmateriaal. Alle 25 beelden die ik gisteren heb geüpload vallen in ieder geval onder clausule 1;
Het auteursrecht is overgedragen aan Het Utrechts Archief: u mag het werk gebruiken, in sommige gevallen onder voorwaarden.
Ik zou graag wat hulp krijgen met het vinden van de juiste licentie opdat ik meer afbeeldingen in het Utrechts Archief op Commons kan doen verschijnen.

Gruitpoort of Grutpoort? in Doetinchem (stad)[edit]

Hallo Wauteurz hier staat zowel Gruitpoort als Grutpoort, en ook op de nl. is er sprake van zowel de grutpoort of de gruitpoort. Omdat er ook nog een Grutstraat (Doetinchem) bestaat! Lotje (talk) 14:21, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Naar mijn weten zijn beiden correct, het hangt af aan wie je het vraagt. De een zal verwijzen naar de Gruitpoort, de ander naar Grutstraat. Hetzelfde geldt voor de Hezen-, Hessen- of Hesenpoort (anderzijds heet die poort ook Koepoort, but I digress). In het kort: Zowel Grut- als Gruitpoort is oké.

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2016 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eleventh edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2016) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. In Round 1, there were 1475 candidate images. There are 58 finalists in Round 2, comprised of the top 30 overall as well as the top #1 and #2 from each sub-category.

In the final round, you may vote for just one or maximal three image to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 2 will end on 20 April 2017, 23:59:59 UTC.

Wiki Loves Monuments 2017 is weer begonnen![edit]

Beste Wauteurz,

Wiki Loves Monuments 2017 is vorige week begonnen! Aan deze fotowedstrijd nemen dit jaar 54 landen deel, waaronder bijvoorbeeld Nederland, Groot Brittannië, Thailand, Rusland, Oekraïne, maar ook de eilanden Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, Sint Eustatius en Sint Maarten in de Nederlandse Caribean. Je wordt dus van harte uitgenodigd om te kijken tussen de deelnemende landen of jouw vakantieland er ook bij zit dit jaar en je foto's uit die landen ook te delen!

Net als voorgaande jaren hebben we prijzen voor de mooiste foto en de meeste foto's en een keus gemaakt voor een speciale categorie. Heb jij een foto gemaakt van een monument waarvan voor 1 september 2017 nog geen afbeelding op Wikimedia Commons bestond? Dan doet de afbeelding mee in de speciale categorie! Heeft een monument nog geen foto in de monumentenlijst op Wikipedia, dan is het aannemelijk dat we er nog geen foto van hadden. Om het zoeken naar monumenten zonder afbeelding wat makkelijker te maken, kun je op Wikipedia lijsten en een kaart van Nederland vinden.

Tot slot nodigen we je nog van harte uit om volgende week met ons op pad te gaan. Op zaterdag 16 september wandelen we tijdens een Wiki Takes rond in Hoorn: op zondag 17 september doen we hetzelfde in Leiden. Onder ervaren gidsen wandelen we langs monumenten in de stad en nemen we ruimschoots de tijd om de monumenten goed op de foto te zetten. Aanmelden verplicht en plaatsen gelimiteerd!
Tot en met 30 september heb je de tijd om je foto's up te loaden: de top 10 gaat door naar de internationale wedstrijd, waar de hoofdprijs de nieuwste Canon EOS 5D camera is!

Southholland regions map.png[edit]

Beste Wouteurz, ik heb de vorige versie van "Southholland regions map.png" teruggedraaid, maar op https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Southholland_regions_map.png zie ik nog steeds jouw upload staan. In de Wikivoyage-pagina's die het bestand gebruiken wordt wel die teruggedraaide versie getoond. Ik weet niet wat er moet gebeuren om het helemaal in orde te brengen. Ik heb jouw upload van de gewijzigde versie ongedaan gemaakt, omdat met name de Duitse versie van de pagina Zuid-Holland van het bestand in de oorspronkelijke versie uitgaat. De nieuwe versie zou dus een andere naam moeten krijgen en vervolgens op de Engelse Wikivoyage "South Holland" pagina moeten worden gebruikt, waar wel van de nieuwe versie wordt uitgegaan. --FredTC (talk) 01:17, 21 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@FredTC: Allereerst excuses voor overschrijving van het bestaande bestand in plaats van een stand-alone upload. Ik zal dit zo meteen regelen. De reden dat de weergave op Commons niet wijzigt is dat de afbeelding nog opgeslagen is in het cache-geheugen van je browser. Dit doet de browser om minder data te verbruiken. Ik schat in dat dat inmiddels niet meer het geval zal zijn, en zodra als je de pagina opnieuw laadt, de afbeelding wel correct weergegeven zal worden. Ik krijg in ieder geval de teruggedraaide versie te zien wanner ik de pagina laad -- het probleem lijkt mij dus opgelost te zijn.

My software on my PC today is better than 2014 - for example with haze filter. So I can improve the image from RAW. I can't do this for all my images, but I can do it for some images. And if an image is used, it's a chance to do this. Hopefully the image will be improved within a week. Let's wait for the result. --XRay ^talk 18:43, 14 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

1 вересня вже традиційно стартувала українська частина міжнародного фотоконкурсу «Вікі любить пам'ятки»! До 30 вересня включно Ви можете подавати власні фото пам'яток історико-культурної спадщини України — і змагатися за призи. Цього року є трохи змін у правилах конкурсу:

фотографії пам'яток, для яких на момент початку конкурсу (відповідно до відомої Організаційному комітету інформації) не було жодної ілюстрації на Вікісховищі або у Вікіпедії, отримують коефіцієнт рівний 7 (для кожної пам'ятки);
фотографії автоматично вантажаться у категорію, яка бере учать у номінації за найбільшу кількість сфотографованих об'єктів, для того, щоб фото позмагалося у номінації за найкраще фото потрібно вибрати необхідні налаштування у завантажувачі.

Також у конкурсі є спецномінація банерів для статей у Вікімандрах, детальніше за посиланням.

Привіт!

Наш цьогорічний конкурс добігає свого кінця — залишилося ще 4 дні. Проміжні підсумки конкурсу опубліковано на сайті. У нас зараз понад 13500 світлин, і це значить, що Україна посідає четверте місце, поступаючись Росії (23 тисячі), Німеччині (21 тисяча) та Італії (19 тисяч). Загалом, понад 200 учасників цього року уже. Дякуємо, що вантажили фото у попередні роки, якщо б Вам захотілося ще взяти участь цього року, то може бути корисно переглянути цей пост із покроковою інструкцією як вантажити світлини: «Як подати свою роботу на конкурс». Wiki Loves Earth France 2019 a commencé ![edit]

Bonjour ,

J'ai le plaisir de vous annoncer que la cinquième édition du concours Wiki Loves Earth en France est ouverte !

Le concours concernera 368 zones de toute la France, des parcs nationaux jusqu’aux réserves naturelles régionales englobant ainsi des paysages et biotopes variés.

Pendant le mois de mai, n'hésitez pas à mettre en ligne des photos de ces zones que vous auriez sur vos disques durs ou à vous rendre dans une zone concernée près de chez vous (à l'aide de la carte). Le règlement est disponible sur la page du concours.

Les plus belles photos seront sélectionnées par un jury national composé de commonistes, d'acteurs de l'environnement et de photographes professionnels. Un jury international constituera ensuite une sélection des meilleures photographies mondiales. Vous pourrez retrouver toutes les informations détaillées sur le site du concours

Вікі любить пам'ятки 2019 в Україні[edit]

1 вересня вже традиційно стартує українська частина міжнародного фотоконкурсу «Вікі любить пам'ятки»! До кінця вересня Ви можете подавати власні фото пам'яток історико-культурної спадщини України — і змагатися за призи. Більше про те, як взяти участь, можна прочитати за посиланням.

Із детальними правилами можна ознайомитися тут. Для тих, хто раніше уже брав участь у конкурсі — зауважте, що цього року є певні зміни:

у номінації «Найкраще фото» — файли повинні мати не менше 4 МПкс;
у номінації «За найбільшу кількість сфотографованих пам’яток» — оцінка фотографії пам'ятки складається із суми базового та додаткових балів (в останній враховується чи ця пам'ятка вже фотографувалася іншими авторами та скільки фотографій пам'яток уже є з цього населеного пункту);

Нагадаємо, що фотографії автоматично беруть участь у номінації «За найбільшу кількість сфотографованих пам’яток»; однак для того, щоб фото позмагалося у номінації «Найкраще фото», потрібно підтвердити це при завантаженні.

Також цього року маємо спецномінації «Єврейська спадщина» та «Млини». Також окремо відзначатимуться найкращі відео із пам'ятками.

Wiki Loves Monuments France 2019[edit]

Bonjour,

Le concours Wiki Loves Monuments France est de retour et ouvert jusqu'à 31 septembre ! Déjà 8309 photos ont été importés cette année, vous aussi rejoignez le concours !

Le concours concerne tous les monuments présents dans la base Mérimée (qu'ils soient classés, inscrits ou simplement classés). De l'imposant château aux ruines industrielles, de la chapelle au coin de la rue aux mégalithes en forêt, c'est un impressionnant patrimoine qui attend d'être photographié et documenté. Où que vous soyez il y a des monuments autour de chez vous. Enfin, vous pouvez mettre en ligne autant de photos que vous le souhaitez de ces monuments. Pour information, le règlement est disponible sur le site du concours. Nous attendons vos photos avec impatience !

Les plus belles photos seront sélectionnées par un jury national composé d'amateurs et de professionnels, de contributeurs à Wikimedia Commons et d'acteurs du patrimoine. Un jury international sélectionnera ensuite des meilleures photographies mondiales.

It is now completed in Russia (active in May), Ukraine and France (active during November), but it's still open in all the other countries.

Wiki Loves Earth 2020[edit]

bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. Mai bis zum 30. Juni 2020 findet zum achten Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Earth statt. Deutschland ist zum siebten Mal dabei. Dabei können unter anderem Nationalparks, Naturschutzgebiete, Geotope und Naturdenkmäler fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich ein, dieses Jahr wieder mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Dieses Jahr ist es aufgrund der Ausgangsbeschränkungen schwieriger aktuelle Fotos zu machen, deshalb läuft der Wettbwerb dieses Mal zwei Monate. Es sind wie immer viele spannende Motive überall in Deutschland zu finden. Neben Naturdenkmälern wie alten Bäumen oder Naturparks im Gebirge und am Meer können Geotope wie Quellen und Aufschlüsse oder FFH-Gebiete fotografiert werden, um sie unter anderem in der Wikipedia zu dokumentieren. In den letzten Jahren sind zahlreiche neue Listen und Artikel in diesen Bereichen entstanden, für die wir uns über Fotos freuen. Als Einstieg für die Suche nach Motiven hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Weitere Informationen erhältst du hier und vor allem unter dieser Anleitung. Falls du im Moment nicht wie sonst in die Natur fahren kannst, findest du vielleicht in den Tiefen deiner Festplatte oder auf dem Smartphone noch interessante Fotos.

Du möchtest am Wettbewerb teilnehmen, dir fehlt aber die richtige Technik? Dann wirf doch mal einen Blick in den Technikpool und das Technikleihportal von Wikimedia Deutschland! Dort findest du Kameras, Objektive und Zubehör verschiedenster Art. Sollte noch Technik fehlen, die deiner Meinung nach angeschafft werden sollte, freut sich Wikimedia Deutschland über dein Feedback zum Technikpool.

Außerdem laden wir Dich ein, vom 1. Mai bis 31. Juli 2020 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Diese bewertet die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelt so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die im August tagen wird, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Earth 2020 in Deutschland. Das Vorjurytool ist hier bald freigeschaltet. Du benötigst dafür nur deinen Benutzernamen und das Passwort.

З 1 по 30 вересня вже традиційно пройде українська частина міжнародного фотоконкурсу «Вікі любить пам'ятки»! На конкурс можна подавати власні фото пам'яток історико-культурної спадщини України — і змагатися за призи. Більше можна прочитати за посиланням.

Радимо ознайомитися із детальними правилами, а також із відповідями на часті питання. З найважливіших змін цього року:

у номінації «За найбільшу кількість сфотографованих пам’яток» — збільшився додатковий бал за фотографії пам'яток (якщо світлин пам'ятки раніше не було завантажено, то можна отримати 21 бал.

Нагадаємо, що всі фотографії автоматично беруть участь у номінації «За найбільшу кількість сфотографованих пам’яток»; однак для того, щоб фото позмагалося у номінації «Найкраще фото», потрібно підтвердити це при завантаженні.

Цього року теж є спецномінації «Єврейська спадщина», «Млини» та «Відео». Також є спеціальна номінація від проєкту «Via Regia Ukraine» — у ній автоматично беруть участь світлини всіх пам’яток міст України, через які пролягає Via Regia — Дубно, Рівне, Острог, Львів, Броди, Городок (Львівська область), Луцьк, Володимир-Волинський, Радомишль, Житомир та Київ. Цього року у Завантажувачі не передбачено окремих параметрів для спецномінацій — світлини зараховуватимуться автоматично з відповідних списків.

Den 1 september inleds 2020 års svenska deltävling av Wiki Loves Monuments, där det skulle vara väldigt roligt om du ville vara med och delta! Вікі любить пам'ятки 2020 в Україні: залишилося два тижні! / Wiki Loves Monuments 2020 in Ukraine: two weeks are left![edit]

Привіт!

Українська частина міжнародного фотоконкурсу «Вікі любить пам'ятки» триватиме ще два тижні, до 30 вересня!

За перші два тижні учасники завантажили понад 16 тисяч фото українських пам’яток. Це поки найбільший результат серед усіх 29 країн, які цьогоріч організовують конкурс. Свої роботи на українську частину конкурсу вже подали 239 авторів, половина із них вперше долучилися до змагання. На знімках представлені пам’ятки з усіх регіонів України. Загалом сфотографовано 5568 об’єктів із конкурсних списків.

Найменш представленими поки є Луганська (69 фото 45 об’єктів) і Херсонська (81 фото 38 об’єктів) області та місто Севастополь (136 фото 39 об’єктів). Якщо у вас (чи у ваших друзів та знайомих) є світлини з цих регіонів — без вагань долучайтеся до фотозмагання!

У рамках спеціальної номінації «Єврейська спадщина» завантажено понад 650 світлин 126 пам'яток, з яких знімки 42 — завантажено вперше. Якщо ваш населений пункт має об'єкти єврейської культурної спадщини, але їх нема у списках, напишіть нам, щоб ми їх додали до списків!

Спеціальна номінація «Млини» — понад 640 фото 144 об'єктів, знімки 44 — завантажено вперше. Загалом база млинів зараз нараховує понад 615 об'єктів, і вона постійно доповнюється.

Вперше цього року ми втілюємо спеціальну номінацію від проєкту «Via Regia Ukraine» — на жаль, ще зовсім нема світлин із Бродів та Радомишля. І з Житомира є тільки 7 світлин, а з міста Рівного — 8 фото.

У спеціальній номінації «Відео» — понад 20 робіт.

Попереду ще два тижні конкурсу. Встигніть долучитися самі та запрошуйте друзів.

Du får det här meddelandet då du tidigare har deltagit i de svenska deltävlingarna av Wiki Loves Monuments eller Wiki Loves Earth! För någon vecka sedan blev det klart vem som tog hem förstapriset i Wiki Loves Earth 2021 – stort grattis till Måns Hagberg och hans fotografi av reveln vid Vivesholms naturreservat! Alla vinnare kan du se här – tack alla deltagare för fina bidrag!

Den 1 september inleds 2021 års svenska deltävling av Wiki Loves Monuments, där det skulle vara väldigt roligt om du ville vara med och delta! Målet med Wiki Loves Monuments är att fotografera svenska kulturarvsmonument. De kategorier som ingår är byggnadsminnen, fornminnen, K-märkta fartyg och arbetslivsmuseer – och du är välkommen att bidra med bilder hela september.

Привіт!

З 1 по 30 вересня вже традиційно пройде українська частина міжнародного фотоконкурсу «Вікі любить пам'ятки»! В Україні цей конкурс пройде вже вдесяте. На конкурс можна подавати власні фото пам'яток історико-культурної спадщини України — і змагатися за призи. Більше можна прочитати за посиланням.

Радимо ознайомитися із детальними правилами, а також із відповідями на часті питання. Як і того року — у номінації «За найбільшу кількість сфотографованих пам’яток» можна отримати 21 бал за фотографії об'єктів, якщо світлин цієї пам'ятки раніше не було завантажено.

Нагадаємо, що всі фотографії автоматично беруть участь у номінації «За найбільшу кількість сфотографованих пам’яток»; однак для того, щоб фото позмагалося у номінації «Найкраще фото», потрібно підтвердити це при завантаженні.

Цього року вперше будуть окремо виділені фото з повітря (дронами, квадрокоптерами тощо) — у спеціальній номінації «Аерофото». Для того, щоб робота потрапила на спецномінацію потрібно вибрати її у Завантажувачі.

Також вперше проводиться спеціальна номінація «Пам'ятки Подесення», знову пройдуть спецномінації «Відео», «Єврейська спадщина», «Млини», «Пам'ятки національно-визвольної боротьби» та «Via Regia Ukraine». Для участі світлин у цих спецномінаціях не потрібно обирати нічого у Завантажувачі — світлини зараховуватимуться автоматично з відповідних списків.

Важливо! Цього року відбулася адміністративно-територіальна реформа. Однак, ми проводимо конкурс ще за попереднім адміністративно-територіальним устроєм. Ми почали роботу над створенням списків з новим поділом, але вона ще не є завершена. Ви можете користуватися тими новими списками, що вже є, якщо потрібно відшукати пам'ятку за новим поділом (деякі ОДА вже почали присилати у такому форматі), але пам'ятайте, що нові списки ще не є повними.

Привіт!

Нагадуємо, що до 30 вересня включно можна вантажити світлини та відео культурної спадщини України до національного етапу міжнародного фотоконкурсу «Вікі любить пам'ятки»!

Зараз Україна посідає 3-є місце за кількістю завантажених світлин, поступаючись Російській Федерації та Німеччині. За першу половину місяця було завантажено світлини пам'яток із усіх регіонів України, але частина із них є дуже погано представлена. Севастополь зараз представлений тільки однією пам'яткою і одним фото, Крим — 12 пам'яток і 51 фото. Детальніше — у таблиці:

Plus que quelques jours pour participer à Wiki Loves Monuments France ![edit]

Le concours Wiki Loves Monuments France est ouvert pour une semaine encore, jusqu'au 30 septembre. Déjà plus de 6 000 photos ont été importées cette année alors vous aussi rejoignez le concours ! Cette campagne de contribution concerne tous les monuments et objets mobiliers présents dans la base Mérimée et dans la base Palissy. De l'imposant château aux ruines industrielles, de la verrière décorative au reliquaire, c'est un impressionnant patrimoine qui attend d'être photographié et documenté. Vous pouvez dès à présent mettre en ligne autant de photos que vous le souhaitez de ces monuments et objets du patrimoine français. Nous attendons vos photos avec impatience !

Les plus belles photos seront sélectionnées par un jury national composé d'amateurs et de professionnels, de contributeurs à Wikimedia Commons et d'acteurs du patrimoine. Un jury international constituera ensuite une sélection des meilleures photographies mondiales.

Si vous avez des questions, l'équipe organisatrice se fera un plaisir d'y répondre.

It is now completed in Russia (active in May), but it's still open in almost all the other countries.

If you want to take part in WSC2021, please consult this page. Only some national categories are associated to competitions with local prizes.

If you are an expert user, we remind you that images uploaded within the deadline can be included in any case in their national category even if not uploaded with the main interface.

Please keep in mind that there is a new category this year, that is "astronomy".

Вітаємо! Ви отримуєте це повідомлення, бо брали участь в українській частині міжнародного конкурсу «Вікі любить пам’ятки» у минулі роки. Зараз організаційна команда конкурсу вирішує, як проводити його під час повномасштабної війни в Україні.

Ми розуміємо, що цього року ми не зможемо провести конкурс у звичному форматі — зокрема тому, що фотографування об'єктів в Україні зараз ускладнене міркуваннями безпеки. Однак наша місія із документування української культурної спадщини є як ніколи важливою, тому розглядаємо варіанти, як можна провести конкурс у обмеженому форматі.

В Україні цей конкурс пройде вже водинадцяте. На конкурс можна подавати власні фото пам'яток історико-культурної спадщини України — і змагатися за призи. Більше можна прочитати за посиланням.

Привіт!

Українська частина міжнародного фотоконкурсу «Вікі любить пам'ятки» вже почалася — за 5 днів фотозмагання Україна вийшла на 12-е місце за кількістю світлин у світі. Не кількістю єдиною, звісно, але гарно було б не надто сильно відстати від російської частини конкурсу, і хоча б потрапити до почесних топ-5.

Цього року вперше у конкурсі є спеціальна номінація «Фотоплівка» — на неї можна подавати скани світлин, зроблених на фотоплівці — мова може йти й про скани самої фотоплівки і скани з віддрукованих знімків із неї. Ця спецномінація покликана мотивувати оцифровувати й ділитися своїми фотоархівами: частина об'єктів уже виглядає дуже відмінно, а частина — більше не існує… Враховуючи сучасну ситуацію із російським вторгненням і можливість потенційної втрати таких фотоархівів, ця спецномінація — актуальна. Врахуйте, що для того, щоб світлина потрапила на спецномінацію, потрібно вибрати відповідне поле у Завантажувачі.

Автори світлин маловідомих пам'яток України зможуть позмагатися за відзнаку від «Україна Інкогніта».

Також уже традиційно пройде спецномінація «Відео» — для участі робіт у цій спецномінації не потрібно обирати нічого у Завантажувачі — роботи зараховуватимуться автоматично з відповідних списків.

Нагадаємо, що всі фотографії автоматично беруть участь у номінації «За найбільшу кількість сфотографованих пам’яток»; однак для того, щоб фото позмагалося у номінації «Найкраще фото», потрібно підтвердити це при завантаженні.

Haldarsvik Wikivoyage banner[edit]

Hi Wauteurz, Yes, I did upload another picture over the Haldarsvik Wikivoyage banner, because that banner could not seriously pretend to be a banner of a village! It shows just a piece of road! While there were several good pictures available of Haldarsvik for making a banner. The problem with Wikimedia (as opposed to Wikipedia) is that on Wikipedia, if you write nonsense it is very speedily deleted. But if you post nonsense on Wikimedia, there's no way to get it deleted. That's all fine and dandy, but what you overwrote is a Wikivoyage Banner. These, per Wikivoyage guidelines, cannot be overwritten no matter how crappy you might think they are, without first reaching consensus. Even if you reach consensus, you do not overwrite the banner image, but you instead upload it alongside it with a slightly different name.

Furthermore, your overwriting of this image also clashes with Commons policy on what you can and cannot overwrite. Listing from Commons:Overwriting existing files#DO NOT overwrite, it breaks said policy on grounds of being (1) a substantial change [it's an entirely different image], (2) being an unrelated file [it's a different image on the same topic], and (3) breaking consistency with other images [by virtue of the banner being indexed in Wikidata]. I suggest you find a different name to upload the image under.

Привіт! Сподіваємося, що ви та ваша родина у безпеці. Нагадуємо, що залишилося три дні до завершення конкурсу «Вікі любить пам'ятки», і якщо у вас є можливість взяти участь у конкурсі цього року — долучайтеся!

Трохи статистики за результатами чотирьох тижнів конкурсу:

завантажено понад 11000 світлин, які зображують майже 3700 об’єктів культурної спадщини;
- з них фотографії 180 пам'яток — вперше подані на конкурс;
понад 500 світлин подано у спецномінації «Фотоплівка»;
вже більше 220 учасників та учасниць;
- з них більше 130 — зареєструвалися вже під час конкурсу.

Найменш представлені регіони — Севастополь (1 фото), Донецька (19), Миколаївська (20), Кіровоградська (58), Крим (72), Херсонська (74) та Луганська (80). Конкурсні списки за регіонами можна переглянути тут: списки пам'яток.

Вікі любить пам'ятки 2023 в Україні / Wiki Loves Monuments 2023 in Ukraine: перший тиждень[edit]

Привіт! Сподіваємося, що у Вас та Ваших рідних усе максимально добре. Нагадуємо, що конкурс триває до 31 жовтня. За перший тиждень конкурсу в українській частині конкурсу завантажено понад 4000 фото, взяли участь майже 90 учасників.

Важливо! Через російське вторгнення в Україну також довелося змінити умови: тільки роботи зняті до 30 червня 2023 року включно будуть прийматися на конкурс. Єдиний виняток — спецномінація «Інтер'єри» можна подавати світлини без обмежень за датою створення.

Усі номінації та спецномінації перелічено тут (серед нових спецномінацій цього року: «Війна руйнує пам'ятки», «Елементи екстер'єру», «Інтер'єри» та «Німецька спадщина»).

Dear uploader of European Science Photo Competition 2015 and Wiki Science Competition 2017, Wiki Science Competition 2019 and Wiki Science Competition 2021, we would like to remind you that Wiki Science Competition 2023 has started in almost all the countries.

If you want to take part in WSC2023, please consult this page. Only some national categories are associated to competitions with local prizes.

If you are an expert user, we remind you that images uploaded within the deadline can be included in any case in their national category even if not uploaded with the main interface.

If you already took part in a country that has completed its upload phase (such as Russia), please consider improving the description in English of your files (click on the edit button), since such description is what the international jury will use to evaluate them. World finalists will be finalized after March 2024.
