Re: Falsified pictures[edit]

There is no definite policy on Commons about manipulated images. General practice is that they are accepted, as long as it fits in Commons:Project scope. It is however necessary to add to the description that the image is made up and it should not be presented as being the original image. This is especially required for the copyright status of images: by creating composites of two images, one creates a derivative work and should have proper permission to make such images. Rijksmonumenten en stratencategorieën[edit]

Hallo VanBuren,

Ik zag dat je bezig was met het vervangen van de categorie "Rijksmonumenten in Delft" door straten waarin de betreffende foto's gemaakt zijn. Dit is volgens mij echter zeer onhandig, een dubbele categorisatie (in zowel Rijksmonumenten in Delft als XXXstraat, Delft) lijkt me een prima idee, maar nu staan ofwel de foto's niet meer in de rijksmonumentenboom (als je de straten niet onder de Rijksmonumenten in Delft cat zet) ofwel staan er foto's van niet rijksmonumenten (die wel in de cat van de straat thuishoren) onterecht in de rijksmonumentenboom.

Dag Basb. Ik concentreer me op Delft. In eerste instantie is de 'category:Delft' de grote vergaarbak van bestanden. Daar staan veel bestanden waarvan het monument-ID-nummer er nog bij gezocht moet worden. Als je die dan hebt wordt het bestand automatisch in 'categorie:Rijksmonumenten' gezet. De 'category:Rijksmonumenten in Delft' is de andere grote vergaarbak maar in elk geval hebben de bestanden daar al een monument-ID-nummer. Je weet dit. Hoe ze daar terechtkomen en wat de bots doen met de bestanden weet ik niet. Wel weet ik dat de meeste tijd gaat zitten in de bestanden in category:Delft, namelijk een voor een uitzoeken of het een monument is, de nummers vinden, controleren, en invoeren.
Ik ben in het begin een beetje zoekend geweest hoe dit zo goed mogelijk te ordenen. Zo kwam ik op het bijeensprokkelen van alle bestanden die bij een monumentadres horen. In enkele gevallen onder de bestandnaam van een gebouw zoals bijvoorbeeld de category:Legermuseum. Alle monumenteadressen in een straat staan dan weer onder de straatnaamcategorie. En uiteindelijk staat dat in de Delft categorieboom in een aantal relevante crosslinks.
Ik had dat voor een hele serie adressen gedaan, en wel die waarvan er een ruim aantal plaatjes te vinden was met behulp van de zoekfunctie. Met de 'category:Rijksmonumenten in Delft' ben ik de afgelopen dagen strak bezig geweest om toch de restjes bijelkaar te vinden, en vooral te sorteren op straatnaam, dus even niet huisadres. Ik heb dat wat versneld gedaan omdat er in die categorie steeds weer door een bot bijgevoegd werd. En omdat ze allemaal doorelkaar gezet worden blijft het een puzzel om die bestanden eruit te vissen die op een bepaalde straat horen. Ik weet niet wanneer dat aanvullen voltooid is. Weet jij dat?
Vanaf hier is het dan gemakkelijker om op een later tijdstip de bestanden in een straatnaamcategorie naar een huisadres te verzamelen. Kun je het nog volgen?
Alle straatnamen en gebouwen staan in de Category:Rijksmonumenten in Delft.
Inderdaad heb ik 'categorie:Rijksmonumenten in Delft' door de categorie:straatnaam op individuele plaatjes vervangen, want anders zouden er nog vele vele honderden bestanden onoverzichtelijk doorelkaar staan. Echter elk plaatje heeft nog wel het monumentnummer.
Ik maak me niet druk om gevallen waar informatie over een niet-monumentaal bouwwerk staat in een stratencategorie met monumenten. De overgrote meerderheid van bouwwerken in Delft zijn Rijksmonumenten. Er was een Category:Bridges in Delft onder Category:Buildings in Delft en ik dacht slim te zijn met het aanmaken van een Category:Bridges in Delft (RM)‎ onder Category:Rijksmonumenten in Delft. En dat ook heel nauwkeurig te doen met andere bouwwerken. Maar dat gaat volgens mij niet werken.
Als ik alles heb ingedeeld op adres (en dat kost me nu alle tijd) dan ga ik verder ordenen. Ik ben nu te moe om verder te gaan. Maar geef alsjeblieft feedback. --VanBuren (talk) 23:54, 19 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry voor de wat late reactie. Het uploaden van de afbeeldingen zal nog zo'n 15 dagen duren. Het is gewoon niet de bedoeling dat straatcats onder Rijksmonumenten in Delft hangen, want dat klopt feitelijk niet altijd. Dubbel kan wel, dus afbeeldingen zowel in Rijksmonumenten in Delft en in een straatcat (die dan onder Streets in Delft hangt). Onder Rijksmonumenten in Delft horen enkel categorieën te hangen van panden die een rijksmonument zijn. Het is onhandig om dit op een andere manier te doen zoals in andere steden. Daarnaast zal op termijn een bot de bestanden vanzelf weer eigenwijs gaan terugzetten in de Rijksmonumenten in Delft categorie. Dat is namelijk de manier waarop de rijksmonumentcategorisatie bot geprogrammeerd is. Nog een klein dingetje. Op commons is het gebruikelijk om plaatsafkortingen achter objecten met ", Delft" ipv "(Delft)" te doen. Daarnaast is het bij straten en adressen die in meer dan een stad bestaan handig om dat aan te geven. Het is overigens wel heel mooi dat je Delft zo grondig aanpakt. For the so maniest time I just put back a number of Delfts most representing pictures in main Category:Delft.

Hopefully this time they won't be removed again by your bot, because in my opinion the main category of towns and other places in principle should be the show window, where visitors, who are looking for some interesting or attractive images of a certain place, immediately find them, without having to search through all those catagories first.

Hoi VanBuren, wat betreft het huidige beleid op Commons moet ik Hannolans toch gelijk geven, en is er vooralsnog geen duurzame oplossing. Ik vind het wel een leuk onderwerp en heb ook nog wat andere afbeeldingen gevonden hier en daar, die je wellicht nog een plek kan geven. Met alle respect heb ik de laatste wijziging teruggedraaid. De eerste copyright problematiek mag je als opgelost beschouwen. Men mag dat nu opnieuw nomineren, zelfs met speedy delete heb ik wel meegemaakt, maar er zit momenteel wat mij betreft een solide licentie op. Hoi VanBuren, nog even een update. Als ik het nu goed heb begrepen, zaten er in die 4 km kanaal drie bruggen. Van de eerste brug biedt het Drents archief nog een tweede afbeelding, zie hier, die t.z.t. toegevoegd kan worden. Wat betreft de vrijgave van deze afbeeldingen lijken afdeling en collectie met elkaar in verband te staan, maar dat kunnen we op Wikipedia eerst verder bespreken. Mvg. Update[edit]

Hoi VanBuren, aan de toestemming heb ik nog een PDMark-owner markering toegevoegd, die per community consensus van 26 augustus 2020 mag worden gebruikt in geval van "that when a copyright holder applies the PDM to their own work, they are declaring their work to be in the public domain." Als voorwaarden bij deze markering wordt gesteld in de documentatie "if possible try to get the copyright holder to change the license to CC0, which is a public domain dedication that provides better legal certainty." Dit is juist vanaf afgelopen jaar reeds getracht zonder succes. Daar kan verdere inspanning worden verricht, maar er is voorlopig aan dit vrijwillig verzoek voldaan.

Bij de verdere bestudering van de PD licenties is me opgevallen, dat er een selectie licenties als verder ongeldig zijn verklaard, zie hier. Dit is echter niet met de PD-because markering het geval, en daarom is deze ook behouden in de toestemmingsectie bij de file. Er zijn geen voorschriften, dat de genoemde twee markeringen naast elkaar gebruikt mogen worden dus die staan er nu alle twee. M'n excuses. Bij een laatste check van de discussie van een jaar terug viel me op, dat dat Wimmel meldde... "de disclaimer dat foto's niet beschikbaar zijn voor commercieel gebruik. (Dat kan het Drents Archief beperken op basis van het databankenrecht). --Wimmel (Overleg) 11:09, 15 August 2021 (UTC)." Bij nadere controle hiervoor bleek, dat inderdaad te kloppen. Hierom heb ik de verwijderingsnominatie ingezet, en zal ik nog contact opnemen met het archief. Kennelijk was bij het kwartje ook nog niet helemaal gevallen. Doublure[edit]

Tweemaal exact hetzelfde plaatje: File:Legermuseum Delft - panoramio.jpg en File:Legermuseum delft.jpg van dezelfde auteur: "M.M.Minderhoud of Michiel1972". De tweede heeft alle (link)details van en voor gebruik. Dan mag die eerste toch wel weg zodat die niet ooit ook eens gelinkt gaat worden? Ik weet helaas niet hoe die eerste te nomineren... Normaal gesproken wordt de oudste behouden, en als de nieuwste op een Wiki in gebruik is, wordt het gebruik "overgenomen" door de oudste. Dit geldt uiteraard alleen voor compleet identieke afbeeldingen. Vysotsky (talk) 12:54, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
