Category:Cosplayers with caps

I see that you removed the "Cosplayers with caps" category from Cosplay of Hatsune Miku with caps. Look at this diff. What's wrong with the category I created?--Kai3952 (talk) 11:28, 3 May 2022 (UTC)

I think the biggest problem at hand is that there seems to be overlap in the functions of "Category:Cosplay clothing" and "Category:Cosplayers with objects" such as Category:Caps in cosplay and Category:Cosplayers with caps, but I don't know how to resolve it.--Kai3952 (talk) 08:43, 5 May 2022 (UTC)

I'm not sure if I offended you or made you significantly angry. If I did then I apologize. I just want to figure out the difference between "XX in cosplay" and "Cosplayers with XX". "XX in cosplay" is for clothing while "Cosplayers with XX" is for objects and accessories unless said accessories are considered part of the character's costume. Makes sense? When you want to delete a page by manually using the {{Delete}} template (rather than the automatic Nominate for deletion or Nominate category for discussion tool in the Tools menu on the sidebar per COM:DR#Starting requests and COM:CFD#Starting requests), you must follow the instructions in the template, including the "Click here to show further instructions" portion (or Commons:Deletion requests/Listing a request manually policy or the "By hand" portion of COM:CFD#Starting requests, normally collapsed), otherwise you will create a lot of work for other people. Top ordering

Hi Trade, I hope you don't mind my changes in this temple, I did it because I personally believe top is visually better than before (100%-wide international & national first, 80%-wide metacat second, plus spacing between "see also" is removed). For example, compare Women of Russia by century (now) and Young women of Germany by year (before). But that's just my personal opinion, and since I tend to keep both technical and visual unification, please tell me do you agree that we make such changes in other related templates? --Orijentolog (talk) 05:37, 26 December 2022 (UTC)

I feel it strange, and misleading, if not inappropriate, for you to move files from Category "Cosplay of films" to "Unidentified cosplay of films" when the films are very specifically identified. -- Infrogmation of New Orleans (talk) 19:36, 3 January 2023 (UTC)

Dumping everything into "Cosplay of films" is inappropriate as it only makes it harder for others to fid what they need.
None of the pictures were in the rightful places within the appropriate category structure. Hence they were moved. If you look at Category:Unidentified cosplay of Star Trek, that is specifically what the template asks people to do before moving them out --Trade (talk) 20:12, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
