prejudice. I noticed that I had sent the message, I thought I saw reload 'image, but I wonder if putting the source link, you could use these licenses

you could use these licenses, so to hope that the l' image can be preserved without having a risk of elimination

Prize[edit]

The Hedgehog Prize
Thank you for nominating for speedy deletion a lot of redirects and clearly saying, what's wrong with them. It was easy for me to decide, what to do!

In Estonian mythology, hedgehog is considered one of the most clever animals. Taivo (talk) 10:47, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

DEFAULTSORT[edit]

Yet another example that heavy users of automatized tools, generally, shouldn’t be trusted.

Look how Category: Rotational symmetry by order is sorted now, thanks to these your edits. Never hear this good American proverb? Or Incnis Mrsi looks really like a crooked-arm imbecile typing spurious colon characters while editing numerous wiki pages? Incnis Mrsi (talk) 18:40, 2 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have now changed the sorting in those 11 pages back to how it looked like before, but I think it is a bad idea with a sorting that only works if it looks like a syntax error. These 11 pages will be shown every time someone do a search for this type of syntax error in defaultsort, like this. Svensson1 (talk) 22:32, 2 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Category[edit]

Sorry. I corrected some, I noticed. Vicuña seems to be angry with me.--TaronjaSatsuma (talk) 08:25, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Category:FSTSB (201312)[edit]

Can you you tell me what the reason for that change on a user category is? There isn't any misspelling there. --Jörgens.Mi Talk 09:54, 29 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I didn't now it was a user category. It's probably the only user category I have changed. I think that not using a space to the left of a left parenthesis is an incorrect naming that maybe can be called a grammatical error or misspelling. Svensson1 (talk) 17:44, 29 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A minor nitpick: I note that you added a missing bracket [ to Category:People by name on this image. That would be good, except that the category can be used only on categories and not on individual images. It would have been better if you removed the category. .     Jim . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 13:59, 9 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, my work concerning categories has mainly been syntax corrections. Svensson1 (talk) 13:02, 10 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Excuse me, the "Motte Quiquempoix", located at

Camera location50° 38′ 04.56″ N, 3° 08′ 51.14″ E Kartographer map based on OpenStreetMap.View all coordinates using: OpenStreetMapinfo

, have absolutely nothing to do with the "Château de Flers in winter" located at

Camera location50° 38′ 10.28″ N, 3° 07′ 57.15″ E Kartographer map based on OpenStreetMap.View all coordinates using: OpenStreetMapinfo

. So I removed the category you added. Best regard.--Pierre André(talk) 22:10, 3 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! You added that category, but you used two colons instead of one. I only removed the extra colon. Svensson1 (talk) 19:10, 4 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Thank you, there is no problem. Happy New Year to you.--Pierre André (talk) 22:08, 4 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Adding Porto to several images[edit]

Hi Svensson1, I noticed several inclusions of Category:Porto in some images (like File:Portugal-2017-C-320 (40088697235).jpg). Is there a reason or a simple mistake using AWB? I miself use AWB and errors are very common with me. best regards --JotaCartas (talk) 17:58, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A user intended to add that category, but it wasn't added because of an error in the syntax. I only corrected the syntax. I have no opinion whether that category shall be used there. Svensson1 (talk) 13:07, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Polen[edit]

Hallo Svensson1, ik begrijp niet waarom er steeds een verwijzing naar Polen wordt gemaakt. Er is imo duidelijk iets fout met de links, alleen, ik weet niet hoe ik dit moet aanpakken. Thnks. [1] Lotje (talk) 05:11, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks![edit]

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at Wikimedia Commons.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!
