Just delete my work!

File:Klaus Egge.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

January 2016[edit]

I blocked your account for one week for uploading files which were previously deleted as copyright violation, as well as for personal attacks against editors who found the violation.--Ymblanter (talk) 09:49, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wouldn't it be better to have a shorter ban? Like a month, so he can come back after learning something? -abbedabbtalk 17:44, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the way you operate, please don't do me any favors. The reason for my original reply to "Hangsna" was that administrator(?) Hangsna wrote that my work was a mere scribble over an original photo, and on top of this he cropped the hell out of my work. If this is not trolling or an attack on my work and me as an artist, I don't know. One should be careful to not operate as a mafia. Offending people are not the way to go about. I did not start this snowball, Hangsna did. If he personally disapprove of my work, it is fine with me. But he must have the knowlege to back it up. In this case knowlege about art. I only replied in the manner I was spoken to. After my reply... well, all hell basically broke loose.Suddenly I had 3-4 different administrator blocking me etc. This is not a professional way to operate. This and the fact that works by Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons etc. (they found inspiration in other peoples photos/works). Will you remove them!? Or go after them with the Copyrights banner? Obviously, these (amazing) works will never be removed. This is not only a copyrights issue, it is a issue about power, influences and law. The equality is a fine word but in my case it is not worth a dime. I will never see Hangsna go after the big shot artist, basically because this is a door he don't dare to open. It is much easier to kick downwards than up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sveintraserud (talk • contribs) 19:51, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That was because of the first mail you sent to me, which contained harassment. The second mail was ok as far as I am concerned.--Ymblanter (talk) 21:48, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Please just remove my work: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Klaus_Egge.jpg?uselang=nb
I am now in contact with BONO.NO (NORWEGIAN VISUAL ARTISTS COPYRIGHT SOCIETY) and Gyldendal (the publishing house). When I have all copyrights issues solved I might upload my work again. I could remove the Klaus Egge portrait myself, but I have been blocked by one of your administrators.
Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.39.130.23 (talk • contribs) 10.35, 21 Januari 2016 (UTC)
Sveintraserud: Just because you don't know how Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons work doesn't mean you can behave how you want. You are being very rude and childish. Hangsna did some cropping of the image you uploaded, and according to the Creative Commons license you used on the image, ANYONE IS ALLOWED DO EDIT THE IMAGE. Calm down! -abbedabbtalk 15:02, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
