You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki.

Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.
Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.

Made a mistake?

Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.
Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Okay I listed in the description it may or not be copyright but I asked why it not to be deleted I had left a message asking what is copyright and what isn't copyright I believe they haven't responded.
And why do you want me to reply on my own User: talk page?
I will try my best not to upload any copyright images.

Unless you have uploaded an account under a different username, I have never nominated any file you have uploaded for deletion. However, in general, to upload an image to Commons, you must demonstrate that the image is free to use. The most basic rule of thumb is this: If you got it off the internet, it is most likely copyrighted, and you most likely cannot upload it here. If you are not sure, such as appears to be the case above, then you can guarantee the image will be deleted. Some of the help notes posted above can aid you in understanding copyright, which is often an ugly thing to figure out.

That all being said, and seeing as how you are already mad at me, I feel obliged to justify your anger. I have nominated Ghost Rider for speedy deletion on three points: First, it is out of this project's scope. Commons is not Wikipedia and does not host article content. Second, it is (perhaps ironically), a copyright violation. While Wikipedia content is licensed under a free Creative Commons license, you are obligated to credit those who crafted that article. Request reason: "My account was compromised (the hacker knew the password, when someone know a password to an account that's not theirs it's still considered hacking) the hacker/comprimizer was my little brother he created useless pages', created inappropriate pages', created created violent blogs', created vandal blogs', blanked multiple talk pages' and inserted racist language, profane language etc. I know my account has violated just about every wiki/wikipedia foundation rule but I've regained access with an all new password and data set something my little brother doesn't know. So no more edits of that sort can happen again. Thank you."
