Mr. Austin[edit]

Re:Commons:Help_desk#How_to_add_pubic_image_to_my_page: I agree with your prognosis. Especially the place where he lapsed into first person in writing about himself. Perhaps I should just have let Ruslik's original answer stand, but it seemed a bit too snarky for the help page. - Jmabel ! talk 01:20, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I think we agree that if one has nothing helpful to say, it's better to say nothing at all. I might have been tempted to throw in a tongue-in-cheek reference to Commons:Nudity#New uploads in reference to the obvious typo, but not without any help on the real issue. Of course, sometimes (quite often, it seems) the helpful thing to say is "you can't/shouldn't do what you want to do." Cheers, LX (talk, contribs) 09:55, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

and File:Homenaje a Chepecoense en Girardot (31309711716).jpg.

Hi, Since these files were reviewed, and a previous DR was kept, I think that a proper DR is better. In particular, the reviewer(s) and the closing admin(s) should be informed. Regards, Yann (talk) 10:45, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, if I'd noticed the previous deletion discussion, I would have taken that route. Cheers, LX (talk, contribs) 10:48, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Use Google Transltate[edit]

I agree that Agencia de Noticias ANDES made the more serious mistake, as they really should know better. You made a smaller mistake in trusting them (and perhaps overlooking the description). I think that's quite understandable, which is why I took the time to write a personal note to explain what was going on instead of just the template notices. I don't know why you feel like I've been aggressive, and I'm sorry you feel that way. That certainly wasn't my intention. LX (talk, contribs) 14:25, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Indian Navy Image help[edit]

Hey, I noticed the discussion we had on the last Indian Navy image deletion and wanted to ensure that I did this one right. I uploaded a new image to Wikimedia commons, File:Tropex 2017.jpg and added the Indian navy license to it. How do I go about requesting an immediate license review on this? Thanks for all your help. Adamgerber80 (talk) 20:37, 9 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You already have requested review. By using {{Indian navy}} (rather than a generic cc-by tag), the file is placed in Category:Unreviewed photos from indiannavy.nic.in to be reviewed by a license reviewer or administrator. Since those resources are limited, that may not happen "immediately", but your upload will get the same priority as the rest. One thing you can do is to visit https://archive.org/, enter the source URL, and if it's not already archived, click the "Save this url in the Wayback Machine" on the resulting page. That should enable license review even if the source link goes dead. LX (talk, contribs) 20:54, 9 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Got it. I will archive it right way and keep this in mind for the future. Sorry for any trouble. Adamgerber80 (talk) 02:12, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
No trouble. LX (talk, contribs) 11:06, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Upphovsrättsfråga[edit]

Hej!

LX (talk, contribs) 20:10, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No, that is not enough, for several reasons. Firstly, only the legitimate copyright holder can issue a valid copyright license, and there is no evidence that the file in question was uploaded to ecured.cu by the legitimate copyright holder. Secondly, content restricted to {{noncommercial}} use is not allowed on Commons. Please read Commons:Project scope/Summary/es to understand what you can and cannot upload here. US government Flickr streams license[edit]

Hi there,

Saw a couple notices on my talk page regarding a few files I uploaded from a USFWS Flickr stream that, it would seem, they do not own, and which they changed the license from something incompatible with Commons. Disappointing, but oh well. I'd like to suggest, however, that you group these into a single deletion nomination. Was it just a single other Flickr stream it copied from that was incompatible? (I haven't dug very deep yet) — Rhododendrites talk18:33, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Rhododendrites! I probably would have started a mass deletion request if I'd come across them at the same time. I'm doing some searching for "by-nc" on file description pages, and these were just kind of scattered throughout. I recall coming across a few similar ones a while back; see Commons:Deletion requests/File:Poem by Spencer (8661671558).jpg and the others linked from there.
Searching for "by-nc" in pages mentioning 50838842@N06 or usfwshq, it looks like there are at least about 40 of these government copyright violations, all from various sources. (There's also one "by-nd", File:Ceratotherium simum simum (29645910396).jpg.) Seeing as a few of them have been uploaded by you, perhaps you could help go through those search results? LX (talk, contribs) 19:25, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I just tried searching for ' "by-nc" rhododendrites ' and returned 17 hits. Is best practice to assume that if the description includes an incompatible license (one which conflicts with the license attached to the image via Flickr), that it should be deleted? Seems that way to me, but perhaps technically it's only required if it can be verified it was published with that license? (seems similar to the question of what happens if I publish an image on Flickr with a CC-BY, but in the text I write "CC-BY-NC" -- obviously since in this case the image was created by someone else it's different, but the process seems similar). — Rhododendrites talk19:37, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I've nominated a handful of files for deletion where the photo appeared to be the uploader's own work, but where they provided statements in the description contradicting the machine readable license. (Obviously, I wouldn't nominate files that were deliberately multi-licensed.) This applies both to files uploaded directly here or transferred from Flickr. They pretty much always get deleted unless the uploader is willing to waive the noncommercial and nonderivative restrictions. LX (talk, contribs) 19:47, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi LX, many thanks for your improvements to the licencing section of the two cropped images. I was not sure how I should format the licences, so your example makes the process very clear. FoP in Sweden[edit]

Thank you for your concern here: [1]. Just want to assure you that I am not very distressed for my own sake. I just think it is very clear there is no FoP in Sweden, and therefore they cannot stay uploaded to Commons. In order to change that we should politely obey the rule on Commons but be more active lobbying. If we do not acknowledge the ruling, there is no ruling to change and we are fine with the fact that pictures from Commons depicting artwork may be subject to fee when used on Swedish websites.

FoP byggnader[edit]

Among the pictures you've tagged with the new template, there are some which are either too old to protected such as File:Björktorpsskolan, Nyfors västra skola.JPG or are not sufficiently original like File:Brottsta, Stensättarvägen, Tunnbindarvägen höger.JPG or File:Barnens reptilhus, Parken Zoo.JPG. Edaen (talk) 20:00, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

All the files were already tagged as depictions of copyrighted works using {{FoP-Sweden}}. I didn't add this tag to any files today. In most cases, I believe the tags were added by the uploaders. Two days ago, I reworded the template, as discussed at Commons:Village pump/Copyright#Freedom of panorama in Sweden (or lack thereof). As you suggested there, I also added the possibility to separate between artworks and buildings. All I did today was to set the new parameter to building for the files that appeared to depict buildings out of the first 500 or so in Category:FoP-Sweden. All that does is to remove the text "or work of art" and change the category from Category:FoP-Sweden to Category:FoP-Sweden (buildings).
I'm not sure what it is you're asking me to do. Not touch a single file unless I've verified that all tags are correct, including researching architects not named in the file descriptions and questioning the uploaders' judgement on the threshold of originality of buildings in Sweden (which I don't think is very well established – it's not really been an issue before)? Sorry, not going to happen. Refrain from working on creating the separation you suggested? I guess I'll do that if my work is not appreciated. Of course, the result will be that the files are even more likely to be swept up in mass deletions. LX (talk, contribs) 20:32, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry. I didn't see that you just changed the parameter. Edaen (talk) 20:37, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Flickr review[edit]

Why? Jon Kolbert (talk) 20:00, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jon, and sorry about this! I've been tagging a lot of unreviewed files from Flickr using VisualFileChange. I've done my best to deselect files that have already been reviewed using appropriate regular expressions. Obviously this one slipped through, probably because it used {{LicenseReview}} rather than {{flickrreview}} or one of the FlickreviewR user namespace tags, and I guess I missed it when reviewing manually. I'll add a few points to my checklists, so thanks for pointing this out, and sorry again for the trouble. LX (talk, contribs) 20:11, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

I was wondering if you could give me some tips for adding categories to my photo's. Thanks in advance!

Sincerely, NeoMeesje (talk) 21:47, 12 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Commons:Categories covers it pretty well, especially Commons:Categories#Categorization tips. Keep in mind that categories are not tags, but a hierarchical structure. Explore the categories to see if its parent categories, contents and description (if any) match the files you want to add and if there are more suitable subcategories. Try to be as specific as possible, and avoid over-categorization. LX (talk, contribs) 23:45, 12 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

The IP here has not made any vandalism, has simply opened a DR in a civic manner. There is no harm in discussing anything. OTOH I avoid calling "vandalism" any edits by established users, therefore will only tell you not to close "hastily" any discussion, please, so that people will not feel bitten, other than for usual reasons. Cheers. --E4024 (talk) 08:56, 11 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I believe I explained very clearly in Commons:Deletion requests/File:Muslim depiction of Muhammad - 17th century Ottoman copy from the "Edinburgh codex".jpg why re-nominations that do nothing but repeat invalid reasons of the previous 23+ discussions are considered disruptive. Commons:Deletion requests#Appealing decisions also states that users should refrain from re-nominating files for deletion without raising new points. Make no mistake: the drive-by IPs that are nominating these files for deletion are not looking for a discussion; they're simply hell-bent on erasing cultural heritage. Hi LX. I'm posting this here since you had previously warned this editor at User talk:Meethi19#Copyright violations about uploading copyvios back in May 2016, but they do not seem to have taken your advice and have had multiple files deleted as copyvios since that time. I just tagged File:Trishnatheband.jpg as a copyvio since it was taken from Facebook. I was going to warn the editor again, but I'm not sure if that will have any effect, so I'd figured I'd discuss the situation with you instead. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:01, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Marchjuly! I would have hoped that at least one of the administrators that deleted the copyright violations uploaded after the "final" warning that I gave in May would have blocked the uploader, but I guess administrators either no longer take the time to look into the uploaders when clearing out Category:Copyright violations, or they don't think serial copyright violators are a big deal, or both. It might be time to put in a request at Commons:Administrators' noticeboard/Blocks and protections. LX (talk, contribs) 06:43, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Need your help![edit]

Hi LX, After you instructed me better about the images of vase paintings, I went back through all of my uploads and nominated the ones I think may be in violation of copyright for the same reason. I couldn't see any instruction anywhere for how to delete a file I uploaded, so I just hit the nominate for deletion link and gave this reason for why it should be deleted: I mistakenly thought this was a 2-D work of art (because it's a painting) but now I understand it's a 3-D work of art (because it's a vase). Please Delete this so I won't be in violation of a copyright law!

I hope you will be able to help me get those files deleted. I really don't like to make such an embarrassing mistake, but now I must clean up my mess, and I'll be way more careful in the future.

Aisha AishaAbdel (talk) 01:40, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

AishaAbdel: I only wish everyone would be as responsive and proactive as you! Only administrators can delete files. Using the nominate for deletion link to start a deletion discussion is generally the appropriate way to request deletion. For files that you uploaded less than seven days ago, you could alternatively add {{SDG7}} to request speedy deletion instead. Hi LX, I want to delete this (Duplicate) page [File:شرح الرسالة الشمسية في القواعد المنطقية 96.jpg] because a mistake , i up lode it again in this page [File:شرح الرسالة الشمسية في القواعد المنطقية 97.jpg], thanks.Usamasaad 15:16, 22 March 2018 (UTC)

Usamasaad: You can use {{duplicate}} to mark duplicate files for deletion (follow the link for information on how to use the template). By the way, are you really the author and copyright holder of this text? LX (talk, contribs) 15:55, 23 March 2018 (UTC).[reply]
thank you. Do you mean the text of the old Manuscript!? Of course not. The scribe mentioned that he wrote this book in Baghdad in 1633.Usamasaad 16:16, 23 March 2018 (UTC)
Usamasaad: Then it looks like you have some corrections to make to the file description of this and every other file in the batch. LX (talk, contribs) 16:23, 23 March 2018 (UTC).[reply]
Thank you. ..Usamasaad 16:25, 23 March 2018 (UTC)
Usamasaad: In an earlier version of the reply, you asked what to do. Here is what you need to do, specifically:
  1. Provide correct copyright information: {{PD-old-100-1923}} or similar, rather than {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}}.
  2. Provide correct authorship information: Najm al-Dīn al-Qazwīnī al-Kātibī/نجم الدين الكاتبي القزويني (right?), rather than Usamasaad.
  3. Provide correct source information: the address of the web page where you got it from, or {{Scan}} if you scanned it yourself.
LX (talk, contribs) 16:43, 23 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I will put {{PD-old-100-1923}} , {{Scan}}, and the name to the owner of the books (Mullah Qasim Effendi Al-Arim Al-Ani/ ar:قاسم أفندي المفتي) or the authorship information: Najm al-Dīn al-Qazwīnī al-Kātibī/نجم الدين الكاتبي القزويني . Usamasaad 19:33, 23 March 2018 (UTC).

I assume "this" refers to the discussions taking place at Commons:Deletion requests/Files in Category:Bienvenido Bones and Commons:Deletion requests/Files in Category:Paintings by Bienvenido Bones. You would need to explain (in those discussions) why the content in question is within the project scope of Wikimedia Commons (especially considering that your attempts at writing about yourself were rejected at English Wikipedia). It would help if your arguments were more succinct and coherent than your previous one. You would also need to correct the source, authorship and copyright information for all the content you didn't create yourself, and you would need to obtain and submit copyright permissions from all copyright holders using the procedure described at Commons:OTRS. For your long term work on copyright status inspection, and your guidance and assistance in File:Shanghai Pudong International Airport 1.jpg!
Thank you for your kind words. I also addressed the similar issue with File:Airport Expwy TollGate.jpg. Here are a few hints that you might helpful in tracking down the source information for files like this:
  • In most cases, you can assume the file had the same name on Wikipedia.
  • You can find logs for files on English Wikipedia by going to en:Special:Log and entering the name in the "Target" field. Remember to include the File: namespace.
  • Sometimes, only the deletion is shown. Uploads made prior to December 2004 are not included. Older uploads were manually logged; see en:Wikipedia:Upload log.
  • If the file had a different name on Wikipedia, it may be useful to look at the original uploader's log (if mentioned by the user making the transfer). Go to en:Special:Log and enter the user's name in the "Performer" field. Do not include the User: namespace. Won't worn for uploads made prior to December 2004.
  • You can search for the filename or the original uploader's name in the manually logged uploads by going to en:Special:Search and adding prefix:Wikipedia:Upload_log after the filename or username.
  • You can find copies of old file descriptions using archive.org's Wayback Machine. Prior to the deployment of Mediawiki 1.14 in 2009, the File: namespace was called Image:, so the pattern for the URLs is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Name_of_the_file.jpg. Some snapshots seem to contain more information than others.
  • The same principles apply to files from other projects (except the manual upload logs, which I believe is specific to English Wikipedia). It may be helpful to change the interface language.
This might seem like a lot of work, but I think we owe it to reusers and the original uploaders not to take such deletions lightly – it's not their fault if the person who made the transfer left out a bunch of details. But if all of the above fails or the original upload also lacked information, then I agree with deletion. Cheers, LX (talk, contribs) 12:23, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

About《Rocío Reza.jpg》and 《OscarGonzalesEguiarte.jpg》[edit]

I "LX", I saw the request to delete the files but I don't understand why, if you can tell me what's the problem with the files I probably fix then, but, the files are in use and they're about a politician and a bushwaker, and they had their articles in the Spanish Wikipedia (es:Rocío Reza Gallegos and es:Óscar González Eguiarte). I hope we could fix this.

P.S. Sorry for the bad grammar but I'm not really good with the English.

¡Saludos!

The problem is that I don't believe that you personally created those photographs yourself. If you personally created File:Rocio Reza.jpg yourself, why is the photo so small? Would you be able to provide the original full-resolution photo? If you personally created File:OscarGonzalezEguiarte.png, why does it look like a photo of a photo or a screenshot of a video? If you can answer these questions, the right place to do it is in Commons:Deletion requests/File:Rocio Reza.jpg and Commons:Deletion requests/File:OscarGonzalezEguiarte.png. license valid[edit]

Hello, image [4] website [5] You are free to copy texts, whether in whole or part, and pictures from this website provided that proper acknowledgement is given.

What is the license used? - Mraslat (talk) 15:04, 13 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Mraslat: First of all, the only one who can grant a legitimate license is the copyright holder. Webs.com is a free web host where anyone can create a site anonymously, so there is no way to know who is behind alshorta.webs.com. Whoever they are, they are using photos created by others. For example, the photo of Alaa Mhawi is a non-free photo by Robert Cianflone/Getty Images AsiaPac. alshorta.webs.com probably don't have the right to use that photo themselves, they certainly don't have the right to use it without attribution, they definitely don't have the right to let others use it, and they absolutely don't have the right to demand that alshorta.webs.com is credited for the works of others. I don't know if the photo of Mohanad Ali is also grabbed from a non-free source, but the site clearly cannot be trusted when it comes to copyright.
Secondly, even if that statement had been issued by the legitimate copyright holder, it is not sufficient for our purposes. Commons requires licenses used here to explicitly allow anyone to use, modify and redistribute the work for any purpose, including commercial purposes. That statement only mentions copying and does not say whether modifications or commercial uses are allowed. If you are unsure, it is best to avoid sources that don't explicitly mention a well-known license by name. LX (talk, contribs) 16:49, 19 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright violations of Manutd2410[edit]

Would the files listed at Special:ListFiles/Manutd2410 not be copyright violations? It looks to me like most of them are copyrighted logos, and about 10-20% of them are instances of textlogos. I tagged the first half for deletion (newest to oldest) as a copyright violation when I noticed you tagging them form the opposite direction (oldest to newest) as no permission. As you're significantly more experienced than I at commons, could you help me understand why it would be as "no permission"? Thanks, Vermont (talk) 01:21, 7 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Vermont! The uploader's authorship and copyright claims are obviously patently false for several of the logotypes. It's probably false for every single one, but I'm not familiar with all of them. I agree that some of them could be kept by removing the false authorship, copyright and licensing claims and adding {{PD-textlogo}}. Others are likely way above the threshold of originality required for copyright protection and should ideally be speedily deleted as copyright violations.
But since the threshold varies from country to country, in order to determine whether {{copyvio}} or {{PD-textlogo}} is appropriate (or if the uploader might actually be the author and copyright holder), one would have look at every single upload, determine the origin, determine the threshold of originality in the country of origin, and make an assessment against that. That's more work than we have volunteers for, especially considering that Manutd2410 is far from the only user batch uploading logos with false authorship claims. If you want to do it for a few files, I certainly don't mind, but there aren't enough of you and me to handle every upload of this nature. Ultimately, it is the uploader's responsibility to provide correct information, so by using {{no permission since}}, I'm giving them the opportunity to do that along with the benefit of doubt in case they can actually back up their authorship claims. They seem to be too busy uploading to care, though. LX (talk, contribs) 09:06, 7 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, regarding the file, I originally thought that "Personal Photograph" is ambiguous and need more source, so I applied NSD, and I hereby thank you for your guidance again. About files who do not state clearly the source and author like the file regarding, what can I do to organise the source and author infomation? Thank you.

On its own, I agree that "Personal Photograph" might be a bit ambiguous (whose personal photograph?), and if we had been dealing with an uploader without an established record, I might agree with the tagging. But it really helps to look at things in context. World Imaging has uploaded 2073 photos taken with a Canon PowerShot S110. I see no reason to believe that "Personal Photograph" means anything other than "Own work" in that context. LX (talk, contribs) 11:34, 7 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

hi LX, sorry that i accidently saved the reordering of the discussion threads here. i found the discussion intendation broken and i reformatted and previewed to better understand who said what. then i added my comment in the wrong window and saved. let me repeat what i consider important and let me make a comment where a misunderstanding occurred imo, resp where i got off track and had to reread it 3 times.

  • you, indentation 5 or so: "Perhaps it would be possible to give an OTRS volunteer access to the image"
  • jpf, no indent, but direct answer: "isn't it possible anymore that one asks for access to the group". unfortunatly no "cool idea, you would be prepared to check, her's the gropu name, i can permit you access"
  • you, following his indent: "i cannot see the group name". unfortunately no "yes, i could try. but the group name does not show up so no join button. what is the groups link / name?"
  • jpf, distracted: "should i make a screenshot", thinking you do not want to get access, thinking about alternatives.
  • somebody else: "a screenshot can be edited", following up on this distraction, further tearing away from your original proposal "OTRS volunteer access"
  • me: "i can confirm" and made sure the group name is there. i did see the "OTRS volunteer" but did not explicitely say "i am no OTRS volunteer, is my confirmation enough?". and i did not mention that i requested access and jpf granted it. will correct it.

so a quite funny thread. should be an example for a sociology and psychology lecture at a university :) in the category of asking the time by "do you have a watch" and getting a "yes" as an answer. if we continue this style we probably are really replaceable by computers, hehe. so please let us know who needs to do what to unwind the situation. either here or there. --ThurnerRupert (talk) 06:58, 15 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi ThurnerRupert! Thanks for the explanation. If my understanding of the issue is correct, what is needed is for an OTRS volunteer to gain access to the image on Facebook. I don't know how you identified the group in question, but that should make it a lot easier for an OTRS volunteer to gain access, so thank you for that. (And regarding the indentation, the scheme used by most experienced editors is described at en:Wikipedia:Indentation.) Cheers, LX (talk, contribs) 12:59, 15 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

how i identified the group? i asked jan-patrick in a personal chat in a way he could not misunderstand: "jan-patrick, what is the group name and link?" :) thanks for the "how we indent" link - i guess if i change that recommendation it would be reverted. the change would be: in a time ordered discussion every person uses its indent. only in exceptional cases where a specific answer is given, indent one more. this makes amongst all easier to read on mobile phones. ha, i now saw i was not explicit enough again, so let me ask directly: can you please add here who needs to do what to make it progress? --ThurnerRupert (talk) 02:56, 17 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

ThurnerRupert: Done, I hope. All good? LX (talk, contribs) 05:55, 17 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Important message for file movers[edit]

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

  • To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
  • To perform file name swaps.
  • When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

The malicious or reckless breaking of file links via the suppressredirect user right is considered an abuse of the file mover right and is grounds for immediate revocation of that right. This message serves as both a notice that you have this right and as an official warning. Questions regarding this right should be directed to administrators. --Majora (talk) 21:36, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks![edit]

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at Wikimedia Commons.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!

Why was the picture deleted? Hussein Muhammed allowed me to use the picture licensefree.

Template:FoP-Honduras/layout has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this template, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

I marked wrong pictures Predrag Rajković 1 and Predrag Rajković 2. It's Vanja Milinković Savić, can you correct it? Vux33 (talk) 21:13, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
