We need your help at the Wikiproject medicine[edit]

Hello, Sorry for spaming your talk page, but this is very important. On the behalf of the Wikiproject medicine at the en.wikipedia, I am inviting you to be a part of the discussion going on the project's talk page about Patient images, The discussion started after I obtained a permission to more than 23000 dermatology related images, and about 1500 radiology images. As some editors of the Wikiproject medicine have some concerns regarding the policy of using patient images on wikipedia, and regarding patient consents. Also they believe that common's policy is not so clear regarding the issue. Files still awaiting OTRS confirmation[edit]

Hello, Stifle. The file(s) listed below have been marked with {{OTRS received}}, but there has been no complete confirmation of its permission status in the last 30 days. From what I'm able to tell, you were the person who added this template. Would you mind taking a look at this again? If confirmation cannot be found, this file should probably be marked for deletion. This should be the only notification you will receive regarding this image, so long as the comment I added to the image description page is not altered. Thanks! If you are not an OTRS volunteer or did not add the "received" template to this file, it's possible I made a mistake identifying the correct user. I look for the most recent diff where the template was added, so if you reverted an edit where this template was removed, I can't tell the difference. If this is the case, please let my operator know at w:en:User talk:Hersfold. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I haven't actually seen the mail, but it should say at least this:
I hereby assert that I am the sole owner of the exclusive copyright of WORK: Regata for Palagruza - Komiza 1930 (http://www.shipspotting.com/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=187155). I agree to publish that work under the free license GNU Free Documentation License v1.1, 1.2, 1.3. I acknowledge that I grant anyone the right to use the work in a commercial product, and to modify it according to their needs, as long as they abide by the terms of the license and any other applicable laws.

Photos for deletion[edit]

wondering why these photos were deleted? File:Prashanti1.jpg File:Puttaparthi 2.jpg File:PrashantiNilayam2.jpg they were taken by me and as their author i gave permission to wikipedia to use them.

Alloyvalves[edit]

Hi Stifle,

I noticed you added an OTRS template to File:Ball-valve--The-Alloy-Valve-Stockist-A105N.JPG. Would you check if the same applies to the other images listed at User talk:Alloyvalves and tag them accordingly? This image is Public Domain and therefore should be sanctioned by Wiki. I also own the image of the card. Plz remove the request for deletion.

I contacted the copyright holder again, who just submitted a more explicity free-use release to OTRS. OTRS 2010011910007482[edit]

Stifle what's going on with this ticket for the Re-Invention Tour images? Mad-eyes.net sent a confirmation long back regarding the copyright, but its still not updated. I'm very confused now. -- Legolas from Mirkwood 10:32, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A reply was issued to the sender of the email on February 25th explaining that we were unable to accept the permission due to certain issues. If the sender reads the email down to the bottom he/she will see what the issues are and how to resolve them.

I understand Stifle and the persong to whom the mail was sent was me only. I can confirm. As per out previous discussion regarding this issue, where you asked me to ask Mad-eyes.net to send a mail to OTRS that the images are released under SA license, Mad-eyes.net has sent a mail to OTRS long in March 25, 2010.
