Wiki Loves Earth 2021

bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. Mai bis zum 31. Mai 2021 findet zum neunten Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Earth statt. Deutschland ist zum achten Mal dabei. Dabei können unter anderem Nationalparks, Naturschutzgebiete, Geotope und Naturdenkmäler fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich ein, auch dieses Jahr wieder mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Wie du bei den Top 5 des vergangenen Jahres siehst, sind vor allem Tiere unter den Siegerbildern. Aus diesem Grund setzen wir den Fokus dieses Jahr stärker auf Landschaftsaufnahmen. Aber natürlich haben auch Tierbilder eine Chance zu gewinnen.

Es sind wie immer viele spannende Motive überall in Deutschland zu finden. Neben Naturdenkmälern wie alten Bäumen oder Naturparks im Gebirge und am Meer können Geotope wie Findlinge, Quellen und Aufschlüsse oder FFH-Gebiete fotografiert werden, um sie unter anderem in der Wikipedia zu dokumentieren. Auch im vergangenen Jahr sind zahlreiche neue Listen und Artikel in diesen Bereichen entstanden, für die wir uns über Fotos freuen. Als Einstieg für die Suche nach Motiven hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Weitere Informationen erhältst du bei WLE 2021 - Deutschland und unter dieser Anleitung. Falls du im Moment nicht wie sonst in die Natur fahren kannst, findest du vielleicht in den Tiefen deiner Festplatte oder auf dem Smartphone noch interessante Fotos.

Du bist interessiert, am Wettbewerb mitzuwirken, dir fehlt aber die richtige Technik? Dann wirf doch mal einen Blick in den Technikpool und das Technikleihportal von Wikimedia Deutschland! Dort findest du Kameras, Objektive und Zubehör verschiedenster Art.

Außerdem laden wir Dich ein, vom 1. Mai bis 30. Juni 2021 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Damit bewertest du die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelst so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die im Juli tagen wird, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Earth 2021 in Deutschland. Hallo Spurzem, im Kontext obigen LAs wollte ich fragen, ob du eventuell willens wärest, Herrn Morkramer um eine Genehmigung zu kontaktieren. Auf einer im :de-Artikel verlinkten Website ist sogar eine Emailadresse angegeben, wenngleich ich natürlich nicht weiß, ob sie noch gültig ist. Falls ja, kann ich dir gerne eine Textvorlage geben, die ich in solchen Fällen (eigenes Foto von fremdem Kunstwerk) benutze. --Túrelio (talk) 10:55, 5 May 2021 (UTC)

Hallo Túrelio, danke für den Hinweis. Herr Morkramer ist inzwischen über 90 Jahre alt. Persönlichen Kontakt mit ihm hatte ich zuletzt, als die zur Löschung vorgesehenen Fotos entstanden; er hatte mich zu der Ausstellung eingeladen. Seinerzeit gab es nur eine kurze Diskussion wegen des Fotos, auf dem er und ein Teil einer seiner Skulpturen zu sehen ist. Ich nehme an, dass Herr Morkramer noch lebt, habe aber ein ungutes Gefühl, ihn wegen der Bildfreigabe zu behelligen, nachdem wir in den letzten Jahren auch keinen telefonischen Kontakt mehr hatten. Überlegt also bitte, ob das Bild weiterhin in den Commons und in Wikipedia verbleiben darf oder ob Ihr meint, es löschen zu sollen. Ich wundere mich immer wieder, was gelöscht wird und was erhalten bleibt. Ein bisschen weicht es vielleicht vom Thema ab: Vor Jahren hatte ich am Tank einer über 50 Jahre alten Horex das Logo fotografiert und in die Commons hochgeladen. Beanstandungen blieben zunächst aus, bis jemand einen Verstoß gegen das Urheberrecht zu erkennen glaubte. Die Datei wurde gelöscht, aber: Vom gleichen Logo gab es danach weiterhin Bilder in den Commons. Freundliche Grüße -- Spurzem (talk) 11:46, 5 May 2021 (UTC)

Ich habe noch keinen Künstler erlebt, der etwas gegen derartige Fotos gehabt hätte, im Gegenteil. Bei Foto habe ich die Gemälde im Hintergrund farblich schwächer gemacht, weil der Maler meinte, der Fokus solle mehr auf dem Musiker liegen und nicht auf seinen Bildern. Man erkennt doch auf den Fotos, daß der Künstler wußte, daß er und sein Werk fotografiert werden. Beim Porträt liegt die Schärfe auf dem Gesicht, das meiste der Skulptur ist unscharf. Ich habe kein Verständnis für den vorauseilenden Gehorsam der Löschanträge dieses Benutzers. --Ralf Roletschek 16:09, 5 May 2021 (UTC)

Hallo Ricardalovesmonuments, „zur Aufgabe gemacht“ ist vielleicht ein bisschen zu hoch gegriffen. Ich versuche ein bisschen zur Verbesserung von Reinhards oft kritisierten Artikeln beizutragen, wozu sicher auch die Bebilderung gehört. Auf vielen der von ihm verwendeten Fotos scheinen die Gebäude zusammenzustürzen und oft sind die Bilder zu dunkel, obwohl das die meisten Fotografen heutzutage selbst korrigieren könnten. Hallo Tagooty, with the best will, I don't understand what is supposed to be wrong with the scope. Sometimes the description is too short for the critics, sometimes too extensive. I said that this turtle with wheels is a allegorical sculpture as a reminiscence of the German automobile manufacturer Horch. • I get your point about different reviewers giving conflicting advice! It is true that COM:VISC does not specify how to write the scope, so I'll accept the scope that you prefer. I'd like to explain my reasoning for your consideration.
  To me, the scope needs to be concise, so it is easily understood, so it may be used as a caption for the image in a gallery, etc. It should contain just enough text to uniquely identify the subject, with detailed descriptions elsewhere -- in the filename, summary, etc. E.g. "Turtle sculpture in the Erfinderbrunnen in Koblenz" is unique, the rest to me is redundant.
  I think "automobile manufacturer" is not a good descripton of August Horch, the term is normally used for a company. The lead sections in en.wiki and de.wiki describe him as a "German engineer", "automobile pioneer", "German mechanical engineer" and "founder of automobile companies Horch and Audi".
