Wiki Loves Monuments 2023 - Deutschland

Hallo Renardo la vulpo,

bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. bis zum 30. September 2023 findet zum dreizehnten Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments (WLM) statt. Dabei können Bau-, Boden- und Kulturdenkmale fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich gern wieder ein, dieses Jahr mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Vergangenes Jahr hat Radomianin mit einer Gesamtansicht von Kloster Paulinzella gewonnen. Welcher Fotograf oder welche Fotografin tritt dieses Jahr die Nachfolge an?

Nach WLM 2022 sind wieder zahlreiche neue Denkmallisten entstanden – zum Beispiel die Denkmallisten in Waltershausen in Thüringen oder in Fulda.

Für die Suche nach Motiven gibt es bei Wikipedia zahlreiche Listen und Karten. Als Einstieg hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Weitere Informationen erhältst du auf der Mitmach-Seite.

Für das einfache Auffinden haben wir eine Upload-Karte erstellt, in der viele aber leider noch nicht alle Kulturdenkmale angezeigt werden können. Das Laden der Objekte dauert dort etwas.

Wir haben dieses Jahr „drei Sonderpreise für Bilder von Friedhöfen“ ausgelobt. Zugelassen sind für den Sonderpreis auch Fotos von Friedhöfen, die nicht denkmalgeschützt sind.

Außerdem laden wir Dich ein, ab Anfang September 2023 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Diese bewertet die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelt so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die im Oktober tagt, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Monuments 2023 in Deutschland. Das Vorjurytool ist hier bald freigeschaltet. Du benötigst dafür nur deinen Benutzernamen und das Passwort.

The timeline for the 2023 election will be

September 15 – September 30: Applications for the election committee
October 1 – October 9: Vote for election committee (ideally comprised of three members)
October 10: Election committee starts work
October 20 – November 9: Nomination phase for candidacies
November 10 – December 10: Elections
December 15: Results announced

In the first step we ask you to be part of the election committe. Please add your name on the Election Page.

Änderungsvorschlag: Kategorie "Steam engine museum in Reșița" zu "Steam locomotive …"

Lieber Renardo la vulpo! Ich hab grad einen umfangreicheren Artikel zum Dampflokomotiven-Museum Reșița geschrieben und auch einige aktuelle Fotos in die Commons hochgeladen. Dabei ist mir aufgefallen, dass der Kategroriename "Steam engine museum in Reșița" etwas unglücklich ist. Umgangssprachlich sagt man im Englischen zur Dampflok zwar durchaus auch "engine", aber eigentlich meint "steam engine" Dampf-MASCHINE und nicht Dampf-LOKOMOTIVE. Ich würde daher vorschlagen, den Kategorienamen in "Steam locomotive museum in Reșița" zu ändern. Das hilft nicht nur beim Suchen, sondern ist dann auch konsistent zu den anderen Über- und Schwesterkategorien. Magst Du Dir das mal ansehen? Hallo, @Eddy Renard, der Ausdruck „engine“ im Kategorienamen stammt, wie ich in der Kategorie-Diskussion geschrieben habe, nicht von mir, sondern von Andrei Stroe, der die Kategorie am 21. September 2015 umbenennen lassen hat. Ich habe beim Anlegen der Kategorie (damals „Category:MLA Reșița“) in der englischen Beschreibung „steam locomotives“ geschrieben. Bei mir rennst du also offene Türen ein. ☻

Ich meine nur, dass man vielleicht Andrei Stroe fragen sollte, warum er den Ausdruck „engine“ gewählt hat (er stuft sein Englisch als „en-3“ ein). Er war noch vor einem Monat in Commons aktiv. Wenn er einverstanden ist, sollte das Umbenennen kein Problem sein. Ich habe die Umbenennrechte auf Commons; in der deutschen Wikipedia habe ich sie nicht, aber das wäre auch nicht notwendig.

@Eddy Renard, ja, das kann man mit dem Makro (Vorlage) {{Ping}} machen, so wie ich es bei dir gemacht habe. Aber Andrei kann anscheinend kein Deutsch, daher erschien es mir nicht sinnvoll. Ich kann es in einem nicht besonders guten Englisch oder Rumänisch versuchen, wenn du es nicht selbst machen willst.

Man muss übrigens für Interwiki-Verweise nicht unbedingt Internet-Verweise verwenden; es gibt da Präfixe wie „de:“ für Deutsch. Zum Beispiel ergibt „[[de:Dampflokomotiven-Museum Reșița]]“ den Interwiki-Verweis de:Dampflokomotiven-Museum Reșița auf die deutsche Wikipedia. – Renardo la vulpo (talk) 12:26, 7 October 2023 (UTC)
