Round 2 of Picture of the Year 2017 is open!

Dear Pere prlpz,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2017 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the twelfth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2017) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. In Round 1, there were 1475 candidate images. There are 58 finalists in Round 2, comprised of the top 30 overall as well as the top 2 from each sub-category.

In the final round, you may vote for a maximum of three images. The image with the most votes will become the Picture of the Year 2017.

Round 2 will end on 22 July 2018, 23:59 UTC.

Imágenes históricas (Guregipuzkoa)

Hola Pere, he visto que has eliminado un montón de imágenes de categorías de municipio sin haber proporcionado ninguna categorización que justifique dicha eliminación. Category:Historical images of... es solo una categoría que alude a la época de toma de la foto. Se trata de categorías que solo indican que la imagen es antigua. Pero las fotos, aparte de ser antiguas, suelen ser fotos de algo: de la playa X, de la calle Y, del monte Z o del edificio W. Como tales, tendrían que estar en una de dichas categorías "espaciales" en lugar de desvanecerse en el limbo de las imágenes históricas. Una imagen histórica del museo del Louvre no solo es una imagen histórica. También es una imagen del Louvre. Si eliminas la categoría del municipio en el que se encuentra la imagen, hazlo solo porque la has desplazado "hacia abajo". Hacia una categoría más específica ("Monte X", "Puerto Y", "Ermita H", "Playa Z") además de la categoría histórica. Gracias por tu comprensión --Discasto talk 21:24, 26 August 2018 (UTC)

Category:Can Tomba

Hola, Pere. Com va? Celebro veure't actiu com sempre, sobretot participant en comentaris o discussions algunes d'elles problemàtiques. La teva experiència és imprescindible. Et volia senyalar que les fotos que apareixen a Can Tomba són, amb tota seguretat, de "Ca l'Esteve". l'ICGC ho indica clarament i ho he pogut confirmar amb una foto que he vist en un document PDF de l'Ajuntament d'Esplugues. Si et sembla bé, faré les rectificacions que calguin i inclús reanomenaré les fotos. De Can Tomba no he trobat cap rastre, de forma que, a la llista de monuments, deixaré en blanc les coordenades. A aquestes alçades em sembla que fa temps que has arribat a mestre, i que estàs fent més feina que jo.
Mirant'me això de Can Tomba, diria que tens raó. M'imagino que l'error original el devia fer jo mateix posant les coordenades equivocades a la llista, i les fotos i la resta hi devien anar al darrera, però ara veig que el que surt de Can Tomba parla d'un balcó de fusta a la part posterior (el d'aquesta masia no és de fusta) i del carrer de Sant Mateu, que queda més amunt, tot i que veient la pàgina 71 de https://www.diba.cat/documents/429042/138b648c-01f2-4789-a6fd-0951998998f9 no devia ser gaire lluny. Les dues fotos que hi ha a Patmapa tampoc s'hi assemblen gaire. I a més, Ca l'Esteve surt a https://www.diba.cat/documents/429042/b1ec949d-70f2-40c7-9bbc-f046aef9d7f7.
Aleshores, si vols reanomenar les fotos i la categoria i treure les coordenades de l'article, Wikidata i la llista, per mi fantàstic.

Wiki Loves Monuments France 2019

Bonjour,

Le concours Wiki Loves Monuments France est de retour et ouvert jusqu'à 31 septembre ! Déjà 8309 photos ont été importés cette année, vous aussi rejoignez le concours !

Le concours concerne tous les monuments présents dans la base Mérimée (qu'ils soient classés, inscrits ou simplement classés). De l'imposant château aux ruines industrielles, de la chapelle au coin de la rue aux mégalithes en forêt, c'est un impressionnant patrimoine qui attend d'être photographié et documenté. Où que vous soyez il y a des monuments autour de chez vous. Enfin, vous pouvez mettre en ligne autant de photos que vous le souhaitez de ces monuments. Pour information, le règlement est disponible sur le site du concours. Nous attendons vos photos avec impatience !

Les plus belles photos seront sélectionnées par un jury national composé d'amateurs et de professionnels, de contributeurs à Wikimedia Commons et d'acteurs du patrimoine. Un jury international sélectionnera ensuite des meilleures photographies mondiales.

Si vous avez des questions, l'équipe organisatrice se fera un plaisir d'y répondre.

Important message for file movers

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

  • To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
  • To perform file name swaps.
  • When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

The malicious or reckless breaking of file links via the suppressredirect user right is considered an abuse of the file mover right and is grounds for immediate revocation of that right. Ciments Molins / Fàbrica Sanson

Veig que has recategoritzat la fàbrica de ciment damunt Sant Feliu, que jo havia categoritzat com a Ciments Molins (tal com es veu al mapa de l'ICGC i també al cartell del Google Street) per "Fàbrica Sanson". Són la mateixa? Un és el nom tradicional i l'altre el de la propietat actual? (per cert, també he modificat la nota segons el teu canvi). Caldria unificar les dues categories de commons? --Enric (talk) 23:41, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

@Enric: La veritat és que no vaig mirar-me què hi havia a les categories, però el criteri que vaig fer servir és:
  • Ciment Molins: La fàbrica de Sant Vicenç dels Horts a la dreta de la N-340, un cop passant el pont.
  • Fàbrica Sanson: La fàbrica de Sant Feliu al Puig d'Olorda.
No sé si dir que aquestes denominacions són tradicionals o són obsoletes. De fet, lliguen amb:
  • El que diu el Google Maps (Cementos Molins i Cementera Sanson).
  • El nom que fan servir a Sant Feliu. De fet, la pista que puja a la fàbrica és la Carretera de la Sanson.
  • Al mapa de l'ICC els noms canvien segons quina escala et miris. Hi ha una escala que totes dues fàbriques són Cementos Molins SA, però la de Sant Vicenç sempre es diu així (o noms semblants) mentre que la de Sant Feliu té altres noms en altres escales.
  • Crec que la fàbrica de Sant Vicenç ja es deia Ciments Molins quan jo era petit, i potser se n'havia dit sempre.
  • Mirant la memòria de Ciments Molins, l'única planta que tenen activa és la de Sant Vicenç, que és on van començar (i ja es deien Molins quan van començar).
Aleshores entenc que si a la fàbrica de Sant Feliu hi diu Cementos Molins és perquè la devien comprar recentment.
No sé quins noms deixaria, però crec que si una de les dues s'ha de dir "Ciments Molins" ha de ser la de Sant Vicenç.--Pere prlpz (talk) 09:21, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

Ja deu ser això que dius. Jo no en tenia ni idea, i a l'hora de posar els noms i veient que al mapa de l'ICGC hi havia diversitat de noms, vaig agafar el Google Street per veure si hi havia algun cartell a l'entrada de la fàbrica. Quan vaig veure això de Ciments Molins és el que hi vaig posar, no sabia res de la fàbrica de Sant Vicenç. Possiblement l'origen de totes dues és diferent i potser més endavant els Molins van adquirir la Sanson? (i ara ja no la fan servir?). @Enric: Sí, crec que la van parar cap al 2008 quan va venir la crisi i la construcció es va aturar. A més, tenien problemes ambientals per estar dins d'un parc metropolità, havien de portar la pedra de Vallirana perquè van tancar la pedrera i hi havia una certa oposició dels veïns, tot i que les fàbriques de ciment del 2000 feien moltíssima menys pols de la que feien 20 anys abans.--Pere prlpz (talk) 10:36, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

Cette campagne de contribution concerne tous les monuments et objets mobiliers présents dans la base Mérimée et dans la base Palissy. De l'imposant château aux ruines industrielles, de la verrière décorative au reliquaire, c'est un impressionnant patrimoine qui attend d'être photographié et documenté. Vous pouvez dès à présent mettre en ligne autant de photos que vous le souhaitez de ces monuments et objets du patrimoine français. Nous attendons vos photos avec impatience !

Ara sembla que no he acabat, doncs em demana el codi de país ES-CT, si no vaig errat. El missatge que em surt és: No or incorrect country code indicated in the {{Wiki Loves Monuments 2011}} template.

He posat el codi de país ES-CT enmig del text, a l'apartat de descripció, una mica a sac. S'ha de posar en algun lloc concret? La veritat és que, per als que ens agrada la fotografia i prou, això és una mica complexe... Sort n'hi ha dels taverners!

PREGUNTA: De nou sóc en jordi -Jnavarri per ser exactes-. Saps si és possible participar en el wiki Loves monuments 2011 -quin nom tan cursi- d'altres països? Sé que hi ha la versió dels Països Catalans (asèpticament anomenada Regió Euromediterrània nosequè, no fos cas que algú sapigués de la nostra existència). A part d'això, si algú té fotos de França nord, d'Anglaterra o d'altres llocs d'Europa, pot participar encara que no sigui ciutadà del país? Gràcies de nou.

Kerkebeek

Benvolgut Pere,

no és pas el «Kerkebeek», però el ca:canal Bruges-Gant. Hi ha moltes Kerkebeek «riera de l'Església» als països de parla neerlandesa, però, aquest no n'és un. El canal, que de fet és l'antic riu ca:Reie, té un afluent d'aquest nom, però no apareix a la teva foto. Em sembla que tinc una foto del ver Kerkebeek, encara no a commons. @Flamenc: La veritat és que costa seguir els canals als mapes, però me'n vaig fiar de les coordenades de Kerkebeek (Q21767197). Ja ho he canviat.

No passa res, hauria de fer l'article. Als països plats, els cursos d'aigua canvien sovint llur curs, per la sedimentació i per l'home. De fet el Kerkebeek era un afluent del canal (antic riu) fins als anys 1980. Aleshores, Bruges era conegut per la pudor, causada per la pol·lució del canal que venia de Gant i de l'indústria del Nord de França via el ca:Leie. En aquesta època vivia a Bruges a una casa al marge de l'aigua i en puc testimoniejar. Aleshores han tallat el Reie del canal, i van alimentar els canals interiors entre d'altres amb el Kerkebeek, que tenia aigua neta. On exactament desemboca, i com corren els últims metres, encara no sé. L'inconvenient de l'operació és el turisme de massa, abans la fetor hi era un bon fre! Flamenc (talk) 16:08, 14 March 2023 (UTC)

@Flamenc: He de reconèixer que no s'assembla gens a la meva foto. Fiar-me d'on són els punts al Wikishootme sol funcionar amb els edificis però amb els rius poden passar coses com aquesta.--Pere prlpz (talk) 20:26, 15 March 2023 (UTC)
