Creating armorial images for Wiki

@J-Ronn: I have noticed your superb heraldic work since I am presently helping to improve various related articles: eg. Dukedoms of Spain, Elenco de grandes de España etc, which I trust you find interesting - and even more interesting when finished!

Perhaps I could take up your kind offer of creating coats of arms for Wiki? The arms of Blundell of Crosby would be most useful to enhance Familles catholiques de la noblesse du Royaume-Uni. This is the Blundell family whose coat of arms is blazoned: Sable, ten Billets, 4, 3, 2 and 1, Argent → www.british-history.ac.uk.

Also how to add the Booth family arms, viz. "Argent three Boars' Heads erased and erect Sable langued Gules", to External Ornaments of a Dean for display in the Dean Penyston Booth article...

Запрошуємо взяти участь у міжнародному фотоконкурсі «Вікі любить пам'ятки»! До 30 вересня включно Ви можете подавати власні фото пам'яток історико-культурної спадщини України — і змагатися за призи. Звертаємо увагу, що завантажені матеріали будуть враховуватися у тій версії файлу, що був на час завершення конкурсу, тож якщо у Вас гарне фото, вантажте його одразу у високій роздільності. З регламентом конкурсу можна ознайомитися тут.

Якщо у Вас дуже багато фото, скористайтеся масовими завантажувачами або зверніться до нас.

Окрім традиційних номінацій за найкращі фото і найбільшу кількість сфотографованих об'єктів, у конкурсі також є спецномінація для Ваших відеоматеріалів про пам'ятки. Якщо у Вас розмір відеофайлу завеликий для конкурсного завантажувача, спробуйте скористатися стандартним завантажувачем, але не забудьте поставити ідентифікатор пам'ятки. This might be a tall order, but I believe that this is for the improvement of the article of the Current Filipino Archbishops and bishops

Вікі любить Землю 2019 в Україні триває до 31 травня!

Вітаємо!

З 1 по 31 травня триває сьомий конкурс «Вікі любить Землю» (Wiki Loves Earth), метою якого є фотографування пам'яток природи. Протягом травня ви можете завантажувати власні фото природно-заповідного фонду України та змагатися за призи. Зі списками пам'яток природи України можна ознайомитися тут. Приєднуйтеся!

Цього року є деякі зміни в правилах, зокрема:

  • фотографії пам'яток, які на момент початку конкурсу не мали жодної ілюстрації на Вікісховищі або у Вікіпедії, отримують коефіцієнт 10 в кількісній номінації. Якщо ви маєте фото ще не проілюстрованих пам'яток — це збільшить ваші шанси на перемогу;
  • окрема спецномінація для аерофотозйомки (фото з дронів тощо).
