Shipping company flags[edit]

Rollbacks[edit]

Hi, Nowakki, if you didn't notice, I had to perform a series of rollbacks for SanbornMapBot (talk · contributions · Statistics · Recent activity · block log · User rights log · uploads · Global account information) as it kept adding rename templates for files that I've already moved. i have. i think at this point i have been in contact with 5 different bureaucrats (who don't talk to each other) over this Sanborn upload thing.

Encoding issues[edit]

Hi, looks like your bot changes bullet points and the æ in Fæ to question mark characters as well as breaking file links by changing .tif to .tiff e.g. in Special:Diff/837946934 Looks like there's about 20k as of writing this that need to be fixed.

Sanborn maps - author?[edit]

Hello, since you uploaded many Sanborn map files: De facto all ot them are currently tagged with "author={{Unknown}}". But shouldn't that simply be changed to "author=The Sanborn Map Company"? The individual surveyors/mapmakers are very unlikely to ever be found out, and the copyright was held by the company anyway, not individual people. TheImaCow (talk) 12:47, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I wouldn't object to that. Given the large number of files, it seems like a trivial betterment, not worth going over 500,000 files for. Should be added to a list of improvement and applied when the list is long enough. Nowakki (talk) 21:32, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
