Thanks for uploading File:WRWAvatar.gif. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

PM template?

Hi, I see you created {{Gemeentelijk monument}} and {{Rijksmonument}}, might it be an idea to also create one for the provincial monuments in Drenthe and North-Holland?--Vera (talk) 21:38, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

Multichill (talk) 12:01, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

MultichilllBot missed author details

Hi, There's a thread at Commons:Village_pump#A_Problem_I_have_no_idea_how_to_Fix. you might like to look at. Seems MultichillBot missed the Author details when it moved a file to commons. I was just wondering if this is a known bug? Cheers, Ben Aveling 12:29, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

Read rimshot's reply. This is no bug, the bot didn't miss any author details at all. Multichill (talk) 12:35, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

RCE-templates with categories included

Hello, Multichill: The batch upload RCE-files is not a good job, much pictures without encyclopedic value, making me loose interest. Besides of that, there are also failures in the categorising system, like these:

Hi Multichill. Could you please get your template out of Category:Language templates with no text displayed? Thank you. --Leyo 15:09, 10 June 2013 (UTC)

Talk to whomever introduced that tracker category and please don't mess up template like you did at {{HABS data ingestion layout}}. Multichill (talk) 19:52, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
Please show me how I messed up this template. I don't think I did.
Not all pages in Category:Language templates with no text displayed have severe problems, but some definitively do. See e.g. Special:Permalink/28178560 or Special:Permalink/24951271 for problems with a “=”, or Special:Permalink/42105123 or Special:Permalink/72387078 for problems with the description texts outside the language templates. To find such highly problematic cases, the maintenance category needs to be cleaned out. This task has already been completed for nl and de.
Please help in this effort by modifying “your” templates and maybe also by fixing your bot uploads. --Leyo 22:11, 10 June 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for restoring the page. :) Trijnsteltalk 18:36, 15 June 2013 (UTC)

Spiegelbeeld?

Hallo collega! Volgens mij is http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Gedeelte_achtergevel_-_Leeuwarden_-_20132486_-_RCE.jpg in spiegelbeeld afgedrukt. Als ik naar andere foto's kijk van hetzelfde pand (verzameld in http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Homes_of_Mata_Hari) kan ik deze ene namelijk niet plaatsen. Of is het een heel ander gebouw? --Judithcomm (talk) 15:12, 17 June 2013 (UTC)

File:Voorgevel nr. CZ 1 - Schiphol - 20479064 - RCE.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

High Town, Luton

Hi Multichill,

Excuse me, but I am a relative Wikipedia editing novice.

I am concentrating on editing the page above and found the only two photographs at the top of the article were uploaded by your GeographBot.

This is a great way of adding photos to a previously bare article, but I would now like to delete them in order to replace them with photos which I believe better represent the core of what the High Town area is about.

These would likely be a shot of the main shopping area of High Town Road, near Luton Railway Station, and a shot of Bells Close Recreation Ground / People's Park, both with Creative Commons licences.

I also intend to use Creative Commons photos of our pubs, parks and festivals to illustrate the 'Culture and community' section, and potentially find photos for other sections.

Do you have any objections to me deleting the GeographBot-sourced images, as long as I replace them immediately with appropriate and legally sourced images?

I hope you have time for a swift reply.
