Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Do you need help?

I see a few of your uploads were rejected, the reason (in case it was not clear) is that wikimedia-commons only accepts images that are really free. In most countries photos etc are automatically copyrighted by the owner, so we can only have images that have been released by their owners for free use. Most images randomly found on the internet do not actually allow free use. And of course if you take a photo of someone else's work (like a picture or a cartoon etc) you may be violating their copyright when you publish "your" photo here! If this is all new to you, check out the Community Portal page and ask questions at the Village pump or on peoples talk pages.

I see you also had problems nominating images for Featured Picture, which is perhaps not surprising as the underlying structure is a bit involved. Basically every nomination has a separate subpage which is en:transcluded using {{ ... }} into the main page. There are instructions at the top of the page and a box under Commons:Featured_picture_candidates#Adding_a_new_nomination that is meant to help. If you can't work it out, ask, and perhaps we need to improve the instructions :-)

I reverted your edit here because it broke the normal page format and all of the dates (e.g., end of voting period) were in the past.
