Hello Magog, Please have a look at this: File:States recognising the Armenian Genocide.svg

I recently tagged it for a colour-blind accessibility problem. Please also see its associated Discussion page File talk:States recognising the Armenian Genocide.svg (the section about Colorblind friendly red and green?). The originator of the map has responded to the template, apparently considering a more accessible version of the map would not be in the interest of the majority of readers. I cannot tell whether that is true, I cannot change the file myself, and there is no indication that further discussion between the originator and me would prove fruitful. If you think a more accessible map would on balance be a good thing and are able to make suitable changes, could you do so, please? Or suggest who might? Need your input on a policy impacting gadgets and UserJS

There is an ongoing discussion on a proposed policy governing the use of external resources in gadgets and UserJS. The proposed Third-party resources policy aims at making the UserJS and Gadgets landscape a bit safer by encouraging best practices around external resources. After an initial non-public conversation with a small number of interface admins and staff, we've launched a much larger, public consultation to get a wider pool of feedback for improving the policy proposal. Based on the ideas received so far, the proposed policy now includes some of the risks related to user scripts and gadgets loading third-party resources, best practices for gadgets and UserJS developers, and exemptions requirements such as code transparency and inspectability.

As an interface administrator, your feedback and suggestions are warmly welcome until July 17, 2023 on the policy talk page.

Done that, but the process is slow. Usually, i notice that after that tag, the photos are not reviewed for years. That particular website is a dynamic website and they delete old photos after some time. Archiving also won't work. Thats y I was becoming adamant to get them reviewed to proove that these photos were available there on this particular date with that licence.-Admantine123 (talk) 06:06, 14 August 2023 (UTC)

Which licence to choose?

Hi, I am uploading some images of elected politicians from website of w:Election Commission of India. Their copyright police [1] indicates that they are usable under {{Attribution}} licence, however, as election commission of India also comes under jurisdiction of Ministry of Law and justice and in that case they are covered under {{GODL-India}} licence as well. @Koavf: I don't quite remember. I think I based it on another deletion of the same image. Regardless, it was definitely G3 vandalism. See Special:Permalink/795660594#Picture uploaded by sockpuppeteer being used for vandalism. Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 01:28, 25 August 2023 (UTC)

Zimbabwe Election Results query

Hi, where did you find the results for Zvimba South and Gokwe-Kana constituencies for the Zimbabwe House of Assembly election map you've done? Only I'm working on a majority-shaded map and the ZEC doesn't seem to have them on their website, and the CITE website is a bit dubious considering they've copied over the results of Zvimba West into Zvimba South, and are showing three seats as 'other' which would tally with these two plus Gutu West. --ImperatordeElysium (talk) 21:02, 1 September 2023 (UTC)

Feature request

Hello, please could you add support for files on Wikimedia Commons at [2]? I know it sounds redundant but it would assist in cases where for example we need to delete a superseded image, but need to keep the history for legal reasons. The fawiki gallery
